This meditation is designed to help leaders reconnect with their wholeness by blending Eastern energy wisdom with Western psychological insight. Using Robert Dilts’ Neurological Levels alongside the chakra system, it guides listeners first upward — from environment and behavior through capability, beliefs, identity, and into purpose — and then back down to integrate what has shifted. Each level invites gentle reflection, energetic awareness, and self-inquiry, helping leaders sense how their inner state influences the way they lead. The experience moves from grounding to transcendence and back to embodiment, aligning the subtle and practical dimensions of leadership. Ultimately, it offers a pathway from balance to wholeness — empowering leaders to act with authenticity, presence, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Welcome,

And take a moment to arrive.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether you're sitting or lying,

And allow your body to soften into stillness.

This is part two of Leadership Through Energy.

In part one,

I talked about weaving together Eastern and Western perspectives on moving towards purpose,

Moving from balance to wholeness,

From doing to being,

From performance to presence.

And we walked through the neurological levels of Robert Diltz,

Integrating them with the seven chakras of the Eastern system.

In part two,

We're going to travel upwards and explore the dimensions of leadership energy from your environment,

The things that are around you,

The places that you work,

Live,

Breathe,

Move in,

To purpose.

And then we're going to travel back down,

And we integrate what has changed,

Returning grounded,

Clear,

And whole.

Energy shifts when we allow ourselves to move up through a system to see what is possible that we couldn't see before,

And then to come back down with that understanding and that insight to where we are now in terms of our skills,

Capabilities,

Our environment,

The people that we interact with.

So let's begin.

Take a deep breath in through the nose,

And exhale slowly through your mouth.

And feel the weight of your body,

Supported by the earth beneath you.

You're safe,

You're held,

You belong.

Become aware of your environment,

The physical spaces where you live and where you lead.

Notice the pace,

The people,

The energy.

And without judgment,

Just observe.

Where do I feel at home?

Where do I feel drained?

Visualize roots extending from the base of your spine from your root chakra,

Deep into the earth,

Drawing up stability and strength.

And you can say quietly to yourself,

I am grounded,

I am supported.

I am grounded,

I am supported.

And move your awareness to the space,

Just beneath your navel,

The sacral chakra,

The center of movement,

Of emotion and creativity.

This is where we express through behaviors how we act,

Respond and connect.

The energy of this center is often seen as the color orange.

As you focus on this orange circle spinning just below your navel,

Ask yourself,

How do I show up when I'm in flow?

What behaviors show that I'm aligned?

And what behaviors show that there's resistance?

Let your breath move like waves as you breathe in and breathe out.

And every exhale releases some tension,

Every inhale invites ease.

And just affirm to yourself,

My actions reflect my truth,

My actions reflect my truth.

And now bring your focus to your solar plexus,

Which is just above your navel.

It's glowing golden like the sun,

A yellow disc.

This is your power center where confidence and capability and self-trust reside.

Feel the warmth here,

It's steady,

It's not forceful,

Quiet fire.

What strengths am I ready to fully own?

What capacities have been waiting to be seen or expressed?

So ask yourself those questions and notice the energy pulsing with quiet confidence.

And you can affirm to yourself,

I trust my power,

I trust my power.

And moving your awareness into your heart center,

The heart chakra that bridges the physical and the spiritual,

It's the seat of compassion,

Empathy and connection,

Often seen as a green glowing ball or disc spinning.

And this is where your beliefs and your values live,

Where what truly matters to you as a leader and as a human being resides.

So ask yourself,

What do you stand for?

What beliefs open your heart and which ones close it?

And as you breathe in,

Feel your chest expanding.

And as you breathe out,

Let go of any outdated beliefs that no longer serve you.

And know that you lead from love and courage and truth.

And now bring your awareness to your throat,

The center of self-expression.

The throat chakra is blue,

It's a blue ball of light spinning.

See if you can notice that light just spinning in your throat.

And then bring your attention to your third eye,

The space between your eyebrows,

The seat of your inner knowing,

Which is indigo.

This is the realm of your identity,

Who you believe yourself to be.

Imagine a blue light at your throat expanding into clear,

Honest communication.

And that indigo light at your third eye,

Radiating insight and wisdom.

And ask yourself,

Who am I beyond my roles,

My achievements,

My history?

What story of leadership am I ready to release?

And then bring your focus to the crown of your head.

Imagine a soft violet or white light glowing gently above.

You can breathe in that light.

This is your connection to your purpose,

To your spirit,

To something larger than yourself.

Breathe into that space and imagine that light flowing in from above,

Connecting you to collective consciousness,

To life itself.

To all knowing.

You can ask yourself,

What purpose feels most alive in me right now?

What am I a part of?

And now we're going to begin our descent,

Carrying that wisdom gained from above,

From your purpose,

All the way into your body,

Back into form and grounding that insight that you have into reality.

So starting at the crown.

Notice how your sense of purpose feels now.

Perhaps it's softer and clearer,

More embodied.

You can be grateful for that intelligence that flows through you.

And say to yourself,

My purpose is not something I chase,

It's something I allow.

Be clear on whatever you have allowed,

To have more clarity for you now.

Then bring that awareness down to your third eye,

In your throat.

Notice what's changed in your sense of identity.

Who are you becoming now that you've remembered your purpose?

Perhaps you feel more centered,

More authentic,

Less confined by old labels.

And now that freedom to flow into your voice,

As you speak your truth with clarity and kindness,

And as you lead with your whole self,

Aligned with your purpose.

And now return to your heart chakra,

And sense how it feels after connecting to your higher purpose and your identity.

And maybe there's more space here,

A gentler rhythm,

More acceptance.

Ask yourself what beliefs now feel truer,

Lighter,

And more expansive.

And ask yourself how you might lead from this open-hearted awareness.

And then bring awareness to your solar plexus,

Your center of capability.

Feel that quiet fire of confidence burning steadily within.

That gold light,

That sun,

In your solar plexus.

And notice what's shifted in your sense of capacity,

Your capabilities.

You may feel more empowered,

Or perhaps gentler,

Knowing that you don't need to prove anything.

And you can affirm to yourself that I act from grounded strength,

And my power serves the greater good.

Now move your awareness into your sacral chakra,

Just beneath the navel.

And feel the energy flowing like water,

Creative and alive.

And ask yourself how might your behaviors shift as a result of this new awareness,

Of this clarity of your purpose,

Your identity.

Your heartfelt sense,

Your beliefs,

And your values,

Your capabilities,

And your strengths.

What new ways of responding feel more aligned with who you are becoming?

And you can affirm to yourself that your actions are guided by flow,

Not force.

And finally return to the base of your spine,

Your root chakra.

That red ball glowing at the base of your spine.

And feel yourself anchored deeply into the earth,

Solid,

Whole,

And present.

Notice how your sense of environment feels now.

As you look around you,

The people,

The places,

The pace,

The culture,

And you.

Perhaps this feels less like something outside of you,

And more an extension of your inner energy.

Perhaps you can have a sense of that energy within you,

Expanding out,

Beyond the confines of your body,

Into the surroundings.

This light moving further and further out,

Encompassing the people around you.

And even going outside,

The walls of wherever you are now.

And affirm to yourself that wherever I stand,

I belong.

And now imagine your whole energetic system aligned from the root to the crown,

And from the crown all the way back down to the root.

A column of light that's grounded in the earth and connected in the sky above.

Enjoy that feeling.

And take three deep,

Slow breaths.

Inhale,

Clarity.

Exhale,

Integration.

Inhale,

Clarity.

Exhale,

Integration.

And rest in this space for a few moments,

Letting the insights settle into your body,

To your heart,

To your mind,

As you prepare to return.

So start to bring some gentle movements to your fingers and your toes.

Maybe stretch a little bit.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes,

Knowing you are grounded in your purpose,

Rooted in your truth,

And ready to lead from the wholeness of who you are.
