Misophonia & Misokinesia Practice Without Music
by Carrie Suwal
This meditation is published with and without music to support your sensitivity preferences, this track has no music or background sounds. This practice is for people who experience sound sensitivity (misophonia), or visual stimulus sensitivity (misokinesia), or both. I have found it to be the most potent practice to retrain the brain and its connection with sensitivities. In this practice you will connect with your deeper self, the one having these experiences of being triggered. We will then introduce you to a trigger (through your imagination), and apply the technique of connecting to your true self (a space of calm neutrality) while being triggered. You can then apply this technique in everyday life while being triggered, giving you a feeling of greater empowerment and a more positive perspective. If at any time in this practice, you are becoming too uncomfortable, stop the practice and tend to yourself.
