Here's a lovely quote from author and speaker Brené Brown.
When we can let go of what other people think and own our story,
We gain access to our worthiness,
The feeling that we are enough just as we are,
And that we are worthy of love and belonging.
When we spend a lifetime trying to distance ourselves from the parts of our lives that don't fit with who we think we're supposed to be,
We stand outside of our story and hustle for our worthiness by constantly performing,
Perfecting,
Pleasing,
And proving.
Our sense of worthiness,
That critically important piece that gives us access to love and belonging,
Lives inside of our story.
Love,
Belonging,
And worthiness are a birthright.
Once you understand that it is not something that needs to be earned,
Anything is possible.
So what gets in the way of worthiness?
What formed blockages keeping you from your worthiness?
Let's explore this today.
Begin by closing your eyes gently,
Resting your mind,
Resting your body,
Resting your breath,
All slowing down and arriving here in this moment.
When have you felt worthy in your life?
What times have you advocated for your worthiness and said,
Yes,
I am deserving of this,
This love,
Or no,
I am not deserving of that treatment.
Reflect and hold space for gratitude for the times you were showing this deep self-compassion through standing in your worthiness.
Let's remove any obstacles keeping you from feeling this worthiness now,
Or any obstacles you felt in your past.
Maybe there were times your worth was diminished by others,
Or times when you diminished your own worthiness,
Telling yourself you weren't good enough,
Or feeling that you weren't worthy.
Let's send some love to these feelings,
Memories,
Or thoughts.
Let's wrap them in compassion and say to them,
I see you,
I see this belief I hold in being unworthy and I love you,
I accept you,
And I no longer need you to protect me,
It is safe to leave.
And I invite in my worthiness as I am ready to feel self-love in a new way.
Spend some time dialoguing in your mind or out loud with any unworthiness that may arise.
Hold space for it,
Accept it,
Love it,
And let it be set free.
Give you some time with this practice.
Lovely.
What do you think you would look like if you had no blockages between you and your worthiness?
If you knew you were enough as you are?
If you knew you deserve love from others and yourself at all times,
To really emit an aura of worthiness,
How would you be different?
Spend some time visualizing what that would look like and how it would make you feel.
Let's now connect to our worthiness deep within us,
This feeling that we are deserving of love and that we are always deserving of love,
No matter what we do,
What we say,
Or who we are.
We are good enough and so worthy of love,
As everyone on this planet is.
Let's feel that love as we open up to our worthiness.
Affirm these beliefs and repeat after me,
Worthy.
I am worthy of love.
I am worthy of positive experiences.
I am worthy of happiness.
I am worthy of feeling good.
I am worthy of receiving all that I desire.
I do not have to prove anything to myself.
I am worthy.
And I'll give you a few moments to allow your own affirmations to arise,
Specific to you and your worthiness that feel good.
Thank you for being vulnerable to do this work.
You are being all that you desire.
You are attracting all that you desire.
Namaste
