Find comfort in your hips,
In your legs,
And in your spine.
Let your shoulders drop down from your ears and invite ease into your upper neck muscles.
Take three deep,

Now I'd like for you to hold a gentle awareness of how you feel in this moment.
Simply aware without judgment.
There are difficult pressures and scenarios playing out in your environment and that's okay.
You don't need to absorb these fears into your inner world.
You get to decide how you want to feel.
You hold that power and that cannot be stripped from you.
Let's contemplate and discover how you desire to feel regardless of the conditions of your environment.
Often our sympathetic nervous system is activated at these times of stress and goes into fight,
Flight,
Or freeze.
Our heart rate increases,
Our breath moves faster,
And we feel uneasy.
But we can always consciously stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system where we rest and repair,
Where it slows the heart rate,
Our breath slows down,
And our nerves feel at ease.
How do you want your nervous system to feel?
What does it feel like and look like when your nervous system is calm and at peace?
Take a moment to visualize this.
Now invite your nervous system in this moment right now to reflect and feel the calmness you just visualized.
You can support the soothing of the nervous system by slowing your breath and softening any tension in your body.

Keep returning to this practice of tuning in to how you want your nervous system to hold space for calmness and ease whenever you feel your breathing is shallow or your heart rate is high.

Take a moment to simply be aware without judgment of some of the fear-based thoughts you've been holding lately.
Now let's take back some creative control in your thoughts.
Your thoughts direct your body,
Your emotions,
And your mental health.
Let's invite positive thoughts at this time.
Even if they do not feel entirely true,
Let's feed the truth that we want to strengthen.
We can do this by choosing the opposite of our negative thoughts.
For example,
If you have the thought of,
What am I going to do?
I'm so stressed out.
Let's change it to,
I know what to do.
I am calm and relaxed.
Or,
Everything is okay in this moment.
It will all be okay.
I'll give you some time to construct positive thoughts that you want to believe and become natural for you because you know they will bring about more joy and peace.
