In this guided practice, you will begin with an open sky visualization to help relax the mind and connect with a sense of openness as we release attachment to our thoughts. Then you will be guided with your eyes open to your inner and outer world with the inquiry: "Who is aware?" to point you to the silent observer within. This practice is a direct path to recognizing yourself as pure awareness. This powerful shift is the key to moving beyond suffering and resting in your true, peaceful nature.

Welcome to our practice on moving beyond suffering and into contentment and freedom through awakening as we move beyond the mind.

Every moment is your opportunity to be,

To connect to your consciousness,

To the one who is observing this life,

To the awareness that you are.

This is an act of surrender.

Be curious,

Be gentle,

And be open.

Let's begin by finding deep relaxation.

Settle comfortably,

And when you're ready,

Close your eyes.

Imagine you're lying on a soft grass on a beautiful clear day,

Gazing up at a vast,

Limitless blue sky.

There are no clouds,

Just an endless expanse of clear,

Peaceful blue.

As you gaze into this sky,

Feel your own awareness expanding,

Becoming as vast and open as the sky itself.

With each breath,

Feel any boundaries dissolving.

Your mind becomes as clear as the blue expanse.

Your body feels light,

As if it could float.

There is a sense of infinite possibility,

Of profound peace,

Of complete oneness.

Rest in this feeling of boundless,

Open sky awareness,

Receptive to all that is.

Resting in this open,

Expansive sky awareness,

There's no need to search or strive.

Simply remain open,

Receptive,

Like the vast blue sky.

Allow an impression to form,

A feeling to arise,

Or a quiet knowing to settle within you.

Perhaps you sense a feeling of profound peace and energy,

Of quality,

Of peace,

And of You might glimpse a moment of deep connection.

Trust whatever comes.

I'll give you time to explore this now.

Wonderful.

With a heart full of gratitude,

Gently begin to draw your awareness back from the vast,

Open sky.

I invite you to explore this,

Practice while having your eyes open now.

Turn your awareness and gaze outside of you.

Become aware of the space or environment you are in.

Notice the sounds,

See the colors,

Feel the textures.

I ask you now,

As you are aware of these external stimuli,

Who or what is aware of it?

Who or what is aware of it?

Surrender your mind and sense the answer.

Now,

Turn your awareness onto you.

Feel the textures.

Feel the textures of your clothes.

You may look down to see what you look like.

Feel the temperature of your body.

Feel if you are relaxed or tense.

How is your breath?

Is it long or short?

Deep or superficial?

Do this with no judgment.

Just feel.

Just become aware.

I ask you now,

As you become aware of your human self,

Who or what is aware of it?

Sense the answer.

Let's move your awareness inside of you.

Still with your eyes open,

You may become aware of your organs,

Your blood,

Maybe your energy,

Spirit,

Or a presence or a stillness within you.

See what arises.

I ask you now,

As you become aware of these internal stimuli,

Who or what is the one aware of it?

Sense your answer.

Finally,

Let us become aware of everything all at once.

What is outside of you,

Your body,

And inside of you?

Simply being aware of it all at once.

I ask you now,

As you are aware of all that is outside of you and within you,

Who or what is aware of it?

Surrender your mind and sense the answer.

Wonderful.

Now about the observer,

The witness,

The awareness.

It feels like an unsolvable riddle,

Because it is.

It is not something to solve.

It does not involve the mind or thought.

Your mind cannot share the answer.

Only your being can be.

There is no question to answer,

Only a realization of self to occur.

You are your consciousness.

It is what you are.

The mind blocks you from self-actualizing and realizing it.

Surrender your mind.

Allow yourself to unfold,

To untether,

So that you may discover what remains.

It is something the mind cannot comprehend.

It is an unsolvable question.

Yet the answer is here,

Always,

And only to be found in this moment.

Not the future.

Not the past.

It is not something you have to work towards.

It is only accessible now,

And will always be accessible now.

This is all there is.

This is where your true self and consciousness lies.

Become present.

Drop your thoughts.

Awaken to your true self,

The awareness that you are.

Allow yourself to just be it.

I'll give you some time for this now.

Beautiful.

Now,

Whatever has or has not awoken within you,

It does not matter.

It is always here,

And yet not here at the same time.

It is not really a space or a place,

Just a sense of being.

Yet,

Here it is.

Follow your heart.

Seek what nourishes your mind.

And know that although every step matters,

No moment is more important than the now.

Thank you for joining me.

May your journey be filled with inner peace.
