And this is a 20-minute guided meditation.
Begin by starting to breathe into the body in your meditative seat.
Close your eyes,
Relax your arms down by the side of the body,
And let your palms rest comfortably on your thighs or in your lap.
Feel the weight of the hands.
Notice their heaviness or lightness on your legs.
Bring awareness to each individual finger that touches.
Then notice the legs as they extend down from the torso.
The feet may be connected to the floor or the feet may be tucked under the body if you're sitting in a cross-legged position.
Notice the feet.
Feel each individual toe.
Notice their heaviness or lightness.
Notice the breath.
Notice the breath.
The breath that comes down from the body.
Notice the effort that it takes to breathe.
Notice the effort that it takes to breathe.
Notice the effort that it takes to breathe.
Feeling the cycle of breath,
The gentle movement of the body.
You trust the next inhale to happen.
You trust the next exhale to occur.
It's not anything that you doubt.
It's not anything that you fear won't occur.
Feel your complete trust in this breath.
Feeling the hands and the feet once again.
Trusting them to do what they do.
Move you forward.
Stand up tall.
Move and carry objects.
Think of all the things that you can do.
Move and carry objects.
Think of all the things the hands and feet do.
And you naturally trust them to do so.
And you naturally trust them to do so.
And you naturally trust them to do so.
Now come back to the self.
This person you call I.
And say to yourself,
I trust myself.
I trust myself.
I know what is best for me.
I know what is right for me in this moment.
If I am wrong,
I can easily change my mind.
When I trust myself,
I know what to do.
When I trust myself,
I know whom to trust.
When I feel uncertain,
I can let go of fear and be with my uncertainty.
Self-trust is a healing gift I give to myself over and over again.
I trust myself.
I trust my decisions.
There are no wrong decisions.
If I am wrong,
I can change my mind.
I trust myself.
I know what is best for me.
I can turn to others for support and guidance.
But ultimately,
I trust myself to make the right decision.
I know what to do.
I know whom to trust.
I stand in my curiosity and my courage.
I stand in my boldness.
I stand by my heart mind.
I trust my intuition.
Being in tune with my body helps me to trust myself.
Taking a moment to breathe.
I know what to do.
When I feel uncertain,
I easily let go of fear and become curious.
I trust myself.
I trust my mind.
I trust my mind.
I trust my mind.
We make a million decisions a day.
Thousands and thousands of times we may have felt uncertain.
We may have lost ourselves,
That we know what is best for us.
And you can be with uncertainty when it arises.
We have this breath.
We have this body.
We have this spirit.
We have this spirit.
