I'm Carrie,
Your yogi,
And this is a 20-minute guided meditation.
This meditation is an affirmation meditation.
Affirmations are positive statements that you repeat silently in your mind to make new neural pathways,
New connections in your brain.
As you strengthen these pathways,
They will become more automatic,
The road that your mind naturally takes and eventually chooses to live and be in.
Today's affirmation will begin with the letter N and end with the letter T.
Take three deep breaths into the body,
Breathing in and out through the nose.
Open up to what's present in the body right now and then let go of controlled breathing.
Let the air come naturally in and out of the nostrils.
Soften the face,
Relax the gaze on the floor in front of you,
Or if it feels comfortable to you,
Close the eyes.
Let the palms rest in the lap or on the thighs and allow yourself to open up to this experience right now.
Take what works and repeat these affirmations silently in your mind,
Moving towards positivity,
Self-acceptance and a more joyful outlook on life.
N Nourish I am nourished.
I choose to nourish myself on all levels.
I surround myself with people who nourish me.
I am nourished by the healthy foods I eat.
I am nourished with a restful sleep nightly.
I nourish myself by listening to my body and its needs.
I nourish myself through regular physical activity.
I nourish my mind through meditation and quiet time.
I am nourished mentally,
Physically and spiritually.

This open-mindedness helps me to be less judgmental,
More accepting.

My mind and heart are open to receive joyful abundance.

I seek moments of quiet day by day,
Moment by moment.
Being quiet helps me attune with the life force energy.
I'll take long periods of quiet to help me replenish and refill.
Sometimes being quiet shows my strength.
I can be quiet when listening to others.
My ears are open and my heart is wide.
My quiet expresses empathy and compassion.
I embrace the stillness and quiet around me.
Doing less at times is more.
I embrace the quiet inside and outside of me.
I am responsible.
I am a responsible person.
People can count on me.
I do what I say.
I say what I mean.
I follow through with my commitments.
I am responsible to my family and my loved ones.
I meet my responsibilities with ease.
No responsibility in my life is too large.
My responsibilities are manageable.
I put myself at the top of my list of responsibilities.

Being responsible to myself means I get enough sleep.
Being responsible to myself means I eat well.
Being responsible,
I take time to pause.
I take time to connect with friends and family.
I take time to exercise my body,

Success comes easily to me.

There are many successes in my life.
I don't need to brag or boast about my successes.
I am content to be quiet and let them just be.
I am okay with the sensation of success in my body.
When I have a success,
I am okay with sharing it with others.

Truthful.
I am truthful.
I speak the truth.
I am aware of when the truth needs to be spoken and I stand up.
I am aware of the truth and how it may be hard for others to hear.
I am sensitive to that.
I am first truthful with myself.
I trust my inner compass.
When the truth needs to be spoken,
I speak it with tact and grace.
I know when to remain quiet and keep the truth to myself.
Sometimes that is enough.
The Divine Source Energy and I know the truth.
I act in ways that are honest.
I speak words that are honest.
I am a truthful person.
Allow yourself to sit here and experience whatever is arising in the body.
Accept whatever that is.
Breathe with whatever sensation is there.
Imagine that you are hugging and holding with kindness and care each sensation.
Take three deep breaths.
Lift the gaze,
Open the eyes and gently move the body.
Take any or all of these affirmations into your day and use them in your life.
See what transpires.
Take what works and notice how they help you move forward in love.
