Transcript

Welcome to your third trimester meditation.

This is a hypnobirthing style meditation.

In this practice we will use visualization,

Deep relaxation,

And positive affirmations to prepare your mind and body for a calm and peaceful birth experience.

Hypnobirthing is a method of deeply relaxing your body and your mind,

Allowing you to tap into your natural ability to birth your baby with confidence and ease.

By entering a relaxed,

Focused state,

You can release fear,

Tension,

And stress,

Allowing your body to work in harmony with your baby during labor.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either lying on your side with cushions to support your body,

Or seated in a supported,

Relaxed posture.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and a slow breath out.

As we begin,

Focus on your breathing.

Let it be calm and steady in through your nose and out your mouth.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to let go of any tension in your body.

Each inhale brings in peace.

Each exhale releases tension.

Feel your body relax more and more with each breath.

Allow your shoulders to soften,

Your jaw to release,

And your belly to be soft.

Now bring your attention to your baby.

Imagine your baby in a peaceful,

Warm space inside of you,

Floating and resting.

With every breath,

You send them love and calm energy.

Feel the deep connection between you and your baby,

Knowing that you are working together in this beautiful journey.

As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,

I'd like you to imagine a place where you feel completely safe,

Calm,

And at peace.

This could be a place you've visited before,

Like a beach,

Forest,

Or a cozy room filled with soft light.

Visualize yourself there now.

Notice all the colors,

Textures,

And the sounds around you.

Feel the peace of this place filling your entire body.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to sink deeper and deeper into relaxation.

In this state of calm,

You are preparing your body and your mind for the birthing process.

Your body knows exactly what to do,

And you trust your body completely.

Now bring your awareness to your belly.

Imagine a soft,

Warm light surrounding your baby,

Expanding with each breath.

This light represents safety,

Love,

And strength.

With every inhale,

You bring in a sense of calm.

With every exhale,

You release any fear or tension.

As your due date approaches,

You may have moments of uncertainty,

But this is normal.

Use these moments to affirm your body's natural wisdom and strength.

As you relax more deeply,

Repeat these affirmations to yourself,

Silently or out loud.

I am calm,

I am confident,

And I trust my body.

My baby and I are working together in harmony.

I release fear and welcome a gentle,

Peaceful birth.

I trust the natural process of birth,

And I am fully prepared.

With each breath,

Allow these affirmations to sink in.

Visualize your body opening easily,

Without resistance,

As your baby moves down and into the world.

See each wave of sensation during labor as a guide,

Helping you bring your baby closer to you.

You welcome each sensation with peace,

Knowing that you are strong and capable.

Now visualize the birth itself.

Imagine it unfolding smoothly and naturally.

Picture yourself in a calm environment,

Supported by those around you.

Your body is relaxed.

Each breath,

Each wave brings you closer to meeting your baby,

And you remain calm,

Grounded,

And focused.

When the time comes,

You will enter labor feeling empowered,

Ready,

And calm.

You are in tune with your body,

And you trust the process completely.

Each surge brings you closer to holding your baby,

And you know that your body is made for this moment.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs with calm and peace,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing any lingering tension or worry.

Let it go.

You are ready.

You are prepared.

You and your baby are a team,

Working together for a peaceful,

Empowering birth experience.

When you're ready,

Begin to bring awareness back to your surroundings.

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Allow your body to awaken.

You can open your eyes,

Knowing that you carry this calm,

Peaceful energy with you through the rest of your day and into your birth experience.

Namaste.
