Releasing To Begin Again
by Cari
Releasing the old, what has held us to who we are now is essential work. It allows us to become more than who we know ourselves to be in this moment. It allows us to walk closer to the truth of who we are. Stepping into this work is almost offering everything that we have been, as a sacrifice to begin as who we are to become.
Transcript
Take yourself to your quiet space.
You'll need to lay down for this meditation.
Allow yourself to settle.
Allow your breathing to slow.
Allow control over your breath.
Just gently feeling the rise and fall of the heart,
Of the chest.
Telling the body with breath.
Take a nice deep breath in and allow a nice long breath to release.
Breathing it in.
Breathing it out.
Slowly allow your body to soften onto the floor.
Allow an even connection through the heels,
Through the backs of the legs,
Through the hips,
Along the spine to the shoulders.
Release the arms,
Palms up.
Gentle tilt forward of the chin and a breath in and a long release.
Taking a nice deep breath in.
As you breathe out,
Releasing fully,
Allowing the stomach to sink through the spine.
As you breathe again,
Taking the breath down to feet,
Feeling feet,
Feeling feet,
Connecting breath by breath,
Releasing the steps.
Telling it in and breathing out to release.
Moving to the legs,
Feeling the legs,
Feeling the weight,
The burden,
Feeling all that your legs have carried.
Breath by breath,
Releasing this.
Breathing it in and breathing it out to release and moving to the hips and the pelvis.
Breathing in to feel,
Feeling the new life and energy come in,
Allowing it to swirl through the organs.
Using breath by breath any blocks to new life,
To new creation,
To creative energy.
Breathing it in.
You've walked on from the past and laid down your burdens,
Allowed new life and you breathe to fill the stomach.
Feel,
Feel,
Connect.
Draw the energy of the breath in and breath by breath,
Releasing the emotions,
The anger,
The pain,
The frustration,
The shame,
The guilt,
The resentment,
Allowing them to move on from the body.
Allowing with a deep breath in and a long release,
The stomach falling through the spine,
All emotions have flowed away.
Coming to the spine and allowing that breath to move through the spine from the very base to the very tip and allowing the spiral motion of the breath to circle the spine,
To cleanse and clear the spine.
You've walked on from the past and allowed the burdens to be laid down.
You've drawn in new life and cleared the emotions through the gut.
You've allowed your spine to be clear with the energy of life and you move on to breathe into the chest,
Expanding the ribs,
Opening with a breath and allowing the diaphragm and the lungs to expand fully,
Filling with breath and feeling.
Breathing it in,
Breathing it out with every breath,
Allowing the emotions that the chest holds through fear,
Through jealousy and envy and pride.
Breathing it in,
Allowing the anxiety to release breath by breath,
The chest slowly releasing,
Feeling free of the emotion.
Breathing it in and as you've walked on from the past and allowed yourself to lay the weight down,
You've brought in new life,
Cleared the emotions through the stomach and the chest and allowed a clear,
Pure energy to spiral through the spine.
Your shoulders released,
Arms relaxed,
Fingers are loose,
Gently clearing the throat with a swallow,
Softening the face,
Taking the tongue away from the roof of the mouth and allowing the breath to come to the mind.
Breath by breath,
Filling the mind and allowing each thought as you release to be held by the breath and taken from the mind.
Breath by breath,
Thoughts releasing.
Breathing it in and breathing it out,
A deep release.
The past has been forgotten,
The weights laid down,
New life called for,
The emotion released through the stomach and the chest,
The spine cleansed with pure energy.
The throat is clear,
The mind is soft and we move to the heart.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Focusing on the heart and allow yourself to feel the heart expand across the chest,
Opening the heart,
Allowing it to open for what we are about to journey.
Opening,
Expanding,
Breathing into the heart,
Allowing the breath to swirl the heart,
To fill the heart so that you feel everything within your heart.
Now that your heart is open,
Breathe through the heart,
Focus the breath on the heart and allow yourself in your mind to take you to some steps.
Steps covered with moss on the bricks,
One by one you begin to climb and you can see that they take you to the top of a cliff.
At the top you can see the ocean,
The hills,
It is as if from this place all of life can see you.
I am here with you,
Standing in front of an altar with a large brass bowl,
An ancient antique bowl.
Under the bowl there is a fire,
A gentle fire that heats and warms.
I stand before you and ask you,
Are you ready?
Are you ready to sacrifice?
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you have shown life to be to reveal all that you truly are?
You make that choice and you answer now.
I ask of you,
What are you willing to sacrifice that is most precious to you?
What is it that you most identify yourself with or as?
What is the most visible way you have presented yourself to life?
I ask that you take this and place it into the copper bowl and the heat of the flames and the intensity of the fire,
Dissolve your precious gift.
I ask you,
Are you ready to sacrifice how you have presented to this world so you can reveal your truth?
Answer now.
I ask you to sacrifice your voice,
The way you have been heard,
The way you communicate to life.
Take this and place it in the copper bowl and the heat and the intensity of the flame and the fire dissolves your precious gift.
I ask you,
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you have been in order to reveal who you are?
Answer now.
I ask you to sacrifice your most precious object,
What the symbol of you is,
What represents you,
What you are known for,
What holds you,
What is this symbol?
What is this precious object?
What is this jewel?
What is the symbol of you?
Again you place this precious object into the copper pot and the intensity of the flames and the heat dissolve your precious gift.
I ask you,
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you have presented to life in order to reveal your truth?
Answer now.
I ask you to take off your armor,
All that you use to protect yourself.
Be it clothing,
Be it a pen,
Be it words that you hide behind,
The armor that you have around you.
Remove it now and place it into the copper bowl and the heat and the intensity of the flames and the fire dissolve your armor.
I ask you now,
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you have been in order to reveal all that you are?
Answer now.
I ask you to sacrifice your beliefs,
Everything that has held you together.
This moment all beliefs,
Release them,
Place them into the copper bowl and the intensity and the heat of the flame and the fire dissolves all your beliefs.
You stand before me.
You have released what is most precious to you,
All that you identify yourself by.
You have released and sacrificed your voice,
The symbol that is you,
The armor that you wear.
You have sacrificed your belief and you stand before life and I ask you,
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you have been in order to reveal all that you are?
Answer now.
I ask you to sacrifice your spark,
Your deepest connection and calling,
All that you believe you are here for,
Sacrifice this now into the copper pot.
And the heat and the intensity of the flames dissolves that very spark yet still you stand before me.
Are you ready to sacrifice all that you are in order to reveal your truth?
Answer now.
I ask you to stand naked before the flames.
Allow yourself to see yourself raw and open to life.
You will see me take my arms out to my side,
Facing out to the ocean.
Follow the movements with your arms open to life,
Breathing into your heart now that has been strong and open since the beginning and allowing your heart to open even greater without anything holding you back.
There is a depth to your heart you have never known.
You are starting to feel a deeper connection.
You are feeling a part of life.
You are feeling one with everything around you.
Nothing protects you from being there.
Nothing stops you from revealing and connecting to everything that is in front of you,
All that is around you.
You are one with life,
Having sacrificed everything in order to be one.
Come to your knees.
In your mind,
Allow yourself to place your head on your knees at the altar.
Allow your spine to curl to the sky and release and open and expand.
Draw your chest up.
Take your chin to the sky.
Open your chest and your arms right out.
Within opening the heart and the chest so wide and release.
Hands on your lap,
Closing the eyes.
I am here with you.
I am open and raw and naked to life alongside you.
We are all a part of life as our truth.
As we hold nothing to stop us,
To bury us from all that we are.
Breathing it in,
Allow the heart to calm.
As you stand,
I'll gently place a robe around your shoulders for your clothes have burned from the heat and the intensity of the flames in the copper bowl and they have dissolved.
And the beautiful robe that you wear gently step by step back down,
Feeling lighter,
Feeling more alive and open.
And you walk down the stairs and back into your body and breathe and feel and connect breath by breath as if breathing for the first time a clarity,
A purity for you are empty.
And yet for the first time full of life.
All that you once were,
That you once showed to the world has gone and you feel a lift of the weights and burdens of the past and all that was.
And you allow yourself to feel renewed in faith and in all that is.
Breathing gently through the body.
Letting the breath connect from fate all the way to the top of the head.
Breathing and connecting through the feet,
Through the legs,
Through the body,
Down to the fingers,
Gently moving.
Allow yourself to feel that breath in the body.
Be very mindful of your next moves of what you eat or drink,
Keeping it as clear and clean as possible.
Be mindful of your words,
Of your actions for everything you do from this moment on rebuilds and recreates you.
You have sacrificed all that you once were to reveal who you now desire to be.
From this moment on you can think,
Act,
Speak and be all that you are.
As you bring yourself back if you choose to you can use the flame of your candle to burn safely the words written on the paper that you had written down as your sacrifice so that you know that they have been burnt in front of you.
Breathing releasing being mindful and we move on.
God Bless.
