
Releasing Beliefs

Beliefs are one of the most important determining factors in our life. They can both hold us or free us. We often fumble through life owning beliefs that do not belong to us. They have been handed down to us and we have not taken time to truly begin our own life, based on our own beliefs. This very moment of releasing that which doesn't belong and beginning with new beliefs is very important to our growth and all that we become.
Transcript
So we find our beautiful calm space and allow ourselves to gently lay down onto the floor.
And as you lay onto the floor I want you to begin with getting nice and comfortable.
Adjust yourself.
Take a few nice deep breaths and just allow yourself to soften down onto the floor.
As you take a nice deep breath in,
Allow yourself to get even from the heels running up the back of the leg to the hips,
Running up through the spine,
Shoulders released back,
Arms softly out to the side,
Palms facing up.
Just slightly tuck your chin towards your chest to allow the back of the neck to straighten.
Take a nice deep breath in and a long breath out to release.
There's no control over breath,
There's no control on breathing,
Just allowing the chest to rise and fall.
Take a deep breath in and a long breath out to release.
Take a nice deep breath in and allow a long release out and soften yourself a little more.
One last deep breath in and as you release with a long breath out allow the stomach to drop down through the spine,
The body to soften and for you to fall deeper into the ground.
As you breathe in take that breath to the feet,
Filling the feet with breath,
Allowing yourself to feel into the feet.
The breath connecting every toe,
The sole of the feet,
The ankle through to the top of the foot,
Feeling.
As you're feeling into the feet you can feel the steps,
The tension.
It's as if you can recall every step you have taken to get where you are.
As you feel with breath you release with breath and allow the steps to breathe away,
One by one releasing the breath.
Releasing the steps,
Releasing the past.
Atleligible with everyone.
Technique 3 3 6 Cross Knot Taking a nice deep breath in and as you release the breath,
Release the feet,
Release the past,
Allow the feet to soften and we move on.
We move to the legs,
We draw the breath in and from the ankles to the top of the thigh we fill the legs with breath and as we fill the legs we fill into the legs,
We fill the muscles,
The bones,
The blood running through and with every breath in and filling the legs you can feel the weight that the legs have carried,
The burdens you've placed upon yourself carried by the legs and as you breathe into the legs and feel the connection with every release of breath you allow the weight to release,
The burdens to be placed down.
Breathing it in,
Breathing it out to release.
Taking a nice deep breath in allowing a long release out knowing the past is behind you,
The burdens have been laid down and we move on to our hips and as we breathe to our hips we open them to life.
As we breathe in we fill the hips and the pelvis with breath and as we feel we feel them,
We open them,
We soften them and allow the creation of life to enter.
Taking a nice deep breath in and allowing that breath to swirl through the hips in a beautiful spiral mode allowing the flow to move through the pelvis,
Through the hips,
Connect and with every release of breath taking away any blocks,
Any blocks to this creative energy,
To the energy that is life and creation.
Taking a nice deep breath in as you breathe out you know the past has moved on,
The burdens laid down,
You are open to life and now you move on to the stomach.
And as you feel the stomach with breath you breathe a complete breath and push the stomach right out like a giant balloon feeling that breath right out against the walls of the stomach and as you fill the stomach with breath you feel into it deeper and deeper each time you connect allowing the stomach with every breath to release more than it did before.
Filling the stomach with breath,
Feeling into the stomach with every release of breath,
Releasing the emotions held within the stomach,
Releasing anger,
Releasing pain,
Releasing resentment and frustration,
Releasing shame and guilt,
Releasing the deep nausea that goes with the pain of these emotion.
Taking a nice deep breath in allowing a long breath out with each release of emotion.
Breathing it in and a last long release of breath the past is behind you and the burdens have laid down you are open to life and the emotions from the stomach have moved on and we breathe now to the spine a long drawn breath from the very base of the spine all the way up to the base of the skull and as you breathe to the spine you're allowing a nice clear breath to roll around the spine.
As you're breathing,
Clearing cleansing the energy and then allowing with each breath the breath to circle spiral up the spine releasing at the top and allowing a beautiful flow of energy through the body.
A nice deep breath in,
A nice long release and we move now to the chest and we breathe to open the chest and allow it expand and as we breathe and open the chest the rib cage opens and draws out to the side of the body and as we release it folds gently back in to the spine.
And as the chest and ribs open the diaphragm and lungs can fill with breath and as they fill with breath you can feel into the lungs into the diaphragm can feel the chest and the rib cage all expanding.
Breathing it in and as you're feeling you're feeling into the emotions held into the chest and with every release of breath you're wanting to release the emotion allowing the chest and the lungs and the diaphragm to fully release as the emotion is breathed away.
Breathing it in and as you breathe out allowing the release of fear,
The release of anxiety,
The release of tension and stress,
The release of jealousy and envy and pride,
The release of greed.
Breathing it in to feel,
Breathing it out to release and allowing each of the emotions to be freed from the chest.
Breathing it in,
Filling with breath,
Feeling the breath,
Feeling the emotions and releasing knowing the past has moved on.
You've laid your burdens down and you're open to the new creation of life.
The energy smoothly spiraling through the spine and all emotion released from the body.
The shoulders drop back,
The arms are loose and fingers are soft,
The throat is soft and you clear it with a gentle swallow.
Soften your face,
Take the tongue away from the roof of the mouth and breathe to the mind.
As you breathe to the mind you're filling the mind with breath.
Allow that breath to push out against the skull,
Filling every part of the mind of the head of the skull with breath.
And as your mind fills with breath you're allowing every thought to fold into the breath and with every release of breath,
Release of thought and slowly breath by breath clearing the mind.
Taking your breath in and as you're breathing out feeling the mind release breath by breath.
And a last deep breath in and a long breath out.
In the past this is behind you and your burdens are laid down.
You are open to the creation of life,
Your energy is clear,
All emotions have been released and you are clear in thought.
Breathing now from the feet all the way through the body,
A nice long breath.
And slowly now I want you to take yourself to walking to your beautiful path.
Take note of the surroundings and make your way to your most beautiful worry tree.
Place your hands on the tree,
Place your forehead against the trunk and just allow yourself the deep connection to this beautiful tree.
You Releasing everything onto the tree and then allowing yourself to walk on towards the great door of your sacred space.
And as you stand at the door I want you to look to the left to that deep space of fear that lays behind that cellar door.
Take the key out of your pocket,
Open the door to your sacred space and walk in.
You're greeted by your beautiful garden,
By the color,
By the scent and the perfume,
By the touch and the feel.
Allow yourself to enjoy your beautiful garden for just a moment.
As you walk through you notice something different in the space today.
To the left there is a large hole that's been created in the ground.
As you walk over towards it I want you to walk into it,
Down the slopes and at the very bottom I want you to sit.
Looking up you see the walls of the dirt around you.
At the base of this very deep hole is where you have held on to so many beliefs that have pushed you down and that have held you.
Slowly the hole is going to fill.
You can feel dirt coming in around you as beliefs start to flood back to your mind.
Things you were told as a child,
Things you were told that were real,
Things about you,
How worthy you are,
How beautiful you are,
How clever you are,
Things about the way you do things,
Things about the way you have to perform,
The way you have to act in front of people.
Beliefs given to you by family,
By friends,
By teachers.
Each one of these beliefs slowly caving in around you and I want you to feel the tightness that they have on you.
How uncomfortable you feel with these beliefs pouring in around you.
These beliefs that helped create you,
The very reason you did so many things,
Thinking you had to be the best you may have stolen to keep up with your friends,
Thinking you were never beautiful or the things you had done to try to be so.
Believing in the things your parents believed in,
Slowly each of these pulling in against your body and as you start to feel the whole filling it's up now around your waist.
You know that you must now start to find your way out of these beliefs.
You need to start to move,
You need to start to climb,
You need to allow all the beliefs to fill this hole.
As you're looking at all the beliefs that are around you,
All the beliefs that was a very reason you did so many things,
You start to question and wonder why did I never ask before.
As you're climbing you're feeling the tightness of these beliefs gripping around you.
Don't worry the dirt will not fill you over but they will hold you.
These beliefs are tightening in around you and holding on to you and as you lay safe and gentle in your sacred space I want you to connect to these feelings and I want you to allow a huge release of all the things that you have done from the beliefs that you have had.
I want you to think through the beliefs and allow yourself to begin with releasing and giving back the ones you know very strongly and not for you.
Ask yourself what did these beliefs do to me?
Where have they held me?
How have I held myself back by having these beliefs?
You As you allow these thoughts and emotions to flood through to the body and allow a great release,
Really seeing what these beliefs have held you to.
You're going to move on from this.
I ask that you now hold yourself in this space and allow yourself to very quickly just write down thoughts,
Feelings,
Everything that has come through to you.
Allow yourself now to quickly reconnect to the space laying calmly on the floor.
You've felt the fear that belief can hold you to.
You've discovered the things that you have done and become because of your beliefs.
And it is through the darkness of these beliefs that you can now walk your way towards a light.
All the things that have held you are the very strength that you can gain new courage to walk on.
Your body is nice and released against the floor,
Taking a nice deep breath in,
Allowing a long release out,
Softening the body deeper to the ground.
Breathing strongly from the feet up through the body.
Releasing,
Allowing the self to relax.
Any tension you feel in the body from the thoughts before,
Allowing them to breathe away.
Soften the body,
Deepen the breath,
Release the tension.
A nice deep breath in,
A nice long breath out and take yourself back to where we were in your sacred space,
In the dark hole that had been dug from all the beliefs of your past.
The sand has been filled,
Slowly it has come risen to the chest.
Can you feel yourself,
Can you feel yourself starting to push away,
Wanting to fight your way out of these beliefs.
You've begun to find a beautiful new you.
You've begun to find all that you are and all the things you love about you.
You've begun a whole new journey and you know from this point new beliefs must be found,
New ways must be created but what will give you the strength to move towards them.
Where do I go from here?
How do I move away from the pool of these beliefs that have hold on to me all this time.
Focus on your breath and allow yourself not to panic.
Allow yourself to soften,
Allow the body to relax and know you are safe.
You can just feel the tightness of those beliefs around you.
Ask yourself now where do I go from here?
Where is the light that I can find?
As you start to find the light within yourself,
The spaces of knowing and loving who you are and all that can be this great life of yours.
You begin to use the darkness to push towards the light.
Use all the things that have been a part of your life to stand on and push your way.
As the beliefs start pouring in higher and higher,
Thank you pain for bringing me down.
Thank you for breaking me so that I would find the strength to get up.
Thank you beliefs for bringing me here.
Thank you for teaching me that although my greatest despair has been,
I now find my greatest light.
Work your way push through these old beliefs and allow yourself to feel the connection and the draw towards the light.
Where are you going?
Which way are you heading?
There is so much of life around you.
Looking up you see the beautiful sky and the gentle clouds.
You hear the gentle breeze as you push through the beliefs and strive to get to the top.
You can smell the perfume of your garden.
You know so much of life is still waiting for you.
You can see the light of life all around you and you're wanting to work your way stronger in new beliefs.
Working the way slowly to the top and as you're working your way and standing on each piece of darkness of the beliefs that have held you.
You're getting closer and closer to the top.
Breathing gently working through these beliefs stepping on each piece of darkness working your way to the light.
And as you're nearly at the top you feel a pool of fear.
It's holding into your feet as a dead weight holding you down to these old ways.
The fear of taking the step forward.
You were told to have these beliefs.
The fear will hold you will taunt you as you move away.
You're wanting to move towards this greater life the greater light and I want you now to take a deep breath in breathe out and stop struggling.
I want you to stop for just one moment and look up and I want you to close your eyes and I want you to think of your greatest life.
The greatest happiness.
The greatest connections.
The greatest joy.
The greatest love.
The greatest you that you can imagine.
Just breathe into that thought Everywhere Now I want you to feel that connection so strongly.
I want you to ask yourself,
Is giving up the darkness worth walking towards this life?
Is giving up all the beliefs that have held you,
All the beliefs that have limited you.
The words that people have told you,
The things you have thought about yourself,
About your life.
Now that you've seen this great life of happiness,
Of light,
Of love and joy.
Is it worth releasing all these beliefs and pushing your way to this new light of life?
Where do you go from here?
Where is your life heading?
Are you willing to release these old beliefs and push your way free?
If it's yes,
Start moving your way stronger through the dirt,
Making your way to the top of the hole.
Take a nice deep breath in and stand on the beautiful lush ground around you and turn around and see that the hole was never there.
That the hole was only your own mind holding you.
That always you can look and choose and believe towards the light of a new life.
Take a moment to walk just gently down the slope of the hill,
Sit on the ground and lay back against the ground and just take some nice deep breaths.
How are you feeling right now?
Allow the breath to move through the body,
To release the body,
Release any tension.
Close your eyes in your space and just allow yourself a moment to recollect yourself.
Take a nice deep breath in and out.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Sit up and allow yourself to stand.
Taking a deep breath just walking your way towards your beautiful garden.
Take in the scent,
Nice deep breaths to feel the connection to your beautiful garden.
Slowly make your way towards the great door of the sacred space.
As you move through the door and slowly start to work your way walking down the path.
Allowing yourself just silence and emptiness to release everything you have just endured.
As you walk your way down the path,
Walking your way back into where you are,
Laying gently down and feeling that breath.
As you move through the door and slowly start to work your way down the path,
You will feel the connection to your beautiful garden.
And as you're breathing,
Feeling the lightness of your body.
Connecting to how you feel.
Slowly breathing into the body and allowing yourself to connect to that breath.
Feel the breath running from the toes all the way to the top of the head.
Breathing down to the feet,
Gently moving the toes.
Coming up through the body.
Gently moving the fingers.
Bring your arms up above your head and stretch out.
Bring your knees into chest and your arms clenched over the knees,
Drawing them in.
Place your feet on the ground,
Relax the arms,
Open the eyes.
Just allow yourself to take in all that you have been through and make your way to connecting to your feelings and writing them down.
