I am a channel and an intuitive, and I pull a card every day for the collective. Each month. I chose a different deck to work with, and this month, I have chosen The Yuletide Tarot by Kristopher Hughes. Each day a message is shared to assist the collective on their journey as physical beings on a spiritual path. Though this reading takes place in December, know that I intend you will find it when it is most pertinent to you. This is the second time we've pulled this card this month. Namaste.

Welcome!

I'm Candy Foster,

And I am an intuitive and a channel,

And I pull a card for The Collective each day.

Each month I choose a different deck,

And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.

If you have not followed me yet,

Be sure to do so,

As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,

Along with any other meditations,

Reiki sessions,

Etc.

,

That I have put out.

Thank you for joining,

And I hope you enjoy!

Once again,

Today we have a jumper,

So we have Justice reversed,

And Six of Good Cheer reversed.

We'll start with Justice.

Responsibility,

Cause and Effect,

Retribution.

Whatever you cast into the ocean,

However transformed,

Will eventually return on the tide.

Our actions have consequences,

And whilst there is often a karmic element in many depictions of the Justice card,

Here we see its apparent effect.

A child kneeling before a roaring fire,

Piles of wood lie nearby,

And the room has a festive glow about it.

What should be a jovial and happy environment,

It is tarnished by the gift of coal,

A common symbol of justice during the winter holidays.

For many people,

Not just children,

There is an expectation of gifts,

And not just any gift,

But often the most expensive and elaborate of gifts.

For many children,

The function of,

You get what you deserve,

Has been eradicated from many familial traditions.

But here we see the result of the misdemeanors of the child,

As he encounters retribution and rebuke for his actions.

What we express outwardly will ultimately be reflected inwardly.

Most people are not bad,

But they may at times make bad decisions,

And this is seen in this card as the wood available to stoke the fire.

Anger and frustration can lead to a sense of helplessness,

Where we may lash out.

When this happens,

We end up stoking the fires of our own helplessness,

And this may cause us to act irrationally.

Acting in good and honorable intentions will rarely result in receiving a bag of coal.

So the reversed meaning here,

You have acted in a way that has caused hurt to another.

You must re-evaluate your actions.

It may be that for some reason,

Someone literally has it in for you.

Dishonesty and deceit are likely at play here.

Employ caution,

And try to find a way to diffuse the situation.

Our jumper card today is six of good cheer,

Reversed.

Memories,

Reminiscence,

The Good Old Days,

Reunion.

Look closely.

There is a peculiar juxtaposition to this card.

What on the surface appears to be a perfect winter day,

A perfect midwinter scene,

Belies an oddity that is not immediately apparent.

The cottage might be out of a fairy tale.

It is a quintessential Christmas cottage,

Warm and welcoming.

If one could be in this card,

The air would be filled with delicious smells coming from the kitchen.

This scene has all the potential of a perfect holiday,

Except look closely at the figures within the card.

The children are running happily up the path toward the house,

Dressed in winter attire,

Yet the man who is gazing after them is inappropriately clothed in a t-shirt and jeans with slippers on his feet.

Hardly the kind of clothes for a snowy landscape.

The reason for this is that he is not actually there.

He is reminiscing of times gone by,

And one of the children he is looking at is himself in a different time.

The reversed meaning here,

The lessons of the past are not weaving themselves well into the present.

Old hurts and scars from ages past are returning to haunt you,

And you feel powerless in their presence.

Intergenerational trauma is a difficult subject to approach and deal with,

And you may need to seek help to integrate these experiences into your current life.

So today's message is truly calling us to do that introspection,

Do that inner healing,

Whether it be generational or in our own present life,

Past part of this life or other lives.

A card of self-care is what we're being called for today.

Do that self-care,

Do your introspection.

If you need more support,

Don't be afraid to ask.

Get the help you need because you deserve it.

I hope this message was helpful today.

Namaste.
