This Kundalini kriya is designed to help you clean the subconscious mind, the deep part of the mind that stores all unprocessed emotional experiences and that colors the lens through which we see Life. As a side effect, it can help balance your emotions, hormones, and moods, allowing you to feel more relaxed and at ease. It is also great for kriya to help improve memory. If you have been feeling overly stressed, with insomnia, or a constant sensation of panic it's a great meditation to practice to help regulate your mind and nervous system. As always consistency makes the difference! Picture: Tomas Zagarra from Pixabay Music: Leigh Robinson from Pixabay

Welcome to this kundalini meditation to clear the subconscious mind.

Before we start,

Some context of why clear the subconscious mind and what it is.

The subconscious mind is the deepest part of your mind,

Is the one that's less known to us.

It is a part of the mind that doesn't reason.

Its function is to store.

It stores the unprocessed emotional experience we have had and all the belief systems from the ego or the beliefs that we have created out of these unprocessed emotional experiences.

So basically the subconscious mind is the one that paints the color of your glasses of perceptions.

Literally what you see is what your subconscious mind makes you see.

So today with this kundalini meditation we're going to clear the subconscious mind.

This means to neutralize its effects or to use a metaphor we're going to clear the old forgotten trash can we left at the end of the closet and start doing a clearing,

A cleaning of whatever is in there.

Let's begin seated in any place that is comfortable either on a chair or on the floor.

Just allow your back to be long and comfortable so that your breath can flow naturally in and out your body.

Taking these few moments to really settle in,

To connect with the breath and how it is flowing in and out your body.

Allowing the weight of the body to sink down.

Bringing your attention to the heart center maybe taking your hands there and we are going to connect with the Ong Namo,

Gurudev Namo mantra.

This mantra is used in kundalini so that we can connect with our inner light as guidance during the practice.

So just take deep inhales and exhales and maybe mentally repeat Ong Namo Gurudev Namo Ong Namo Gurudev Namo Ong Namo Gurudev Namo Ong Namo Gurudev Namo Deep inhale in,

Exhale release the air out and before we start I'll explain the practice first and then we will go into it.

So we're going to be chanting the mantra Sa Ta Na Ma With each syllable of the mantra we'll be touching a finger with the thumb.

So with Sa you will touch index finger and thumb,

Ta middle finger and thumb,

Na fourth finger and thumb,

Ma pinky finger and thumb and you will keep repeating this hand movement this mudra as we chant the mantra.

Every time you press a finger on the thumb do it with enough firmness and pressure that you can feel it and be aware of it.

The last part of our practice is that we're going to be visualizing each syllable of the mantra coming into the crown and coming out of the space between your eyebrows as light.

This is a very important part of the practice so we will chant slowly so you can keep the visualization as we go.

So we're going to start our practice again sit up straight bring both of your hands to your knees or to your thighs starting to connect the index finger and the thumb.

Let's take a really deep inhale and as you exhale blow the air out of your mouth.

Two more times really deep inhale to the nose.

Blow it out.

One more.

We're gonna start chanting the mantra and moving with the fingers so close your eyes.

Inner gaze into the crown of your head visualizing every time you chant the syllables coming into the crown and leaving as light through the space between your eyebrows.

Take a deep inhale and we're gonna start.

Now continue with the mantra but do it in a whisper.

So keep blowing in the whisper and keep visualizing the syllables the mantra coming in the top of the head and leaving through the space between your eyebrows as light.

So now silently in your head you keep pressing the fingers and visualizing.

Coming back to whisper in the mantra now out loud now two more rounds take a deep inhale hold the breath in and start to shake your arms shake your body allow everything to shake shake shake to move when you need to exhale and we do it one more time deep inhale hold the breath in shake the arms shake the whole body moving the arms up or to the sides or in front shake give it your all this part is also really important and when you're ready take a deep exhale and just breathe here for a few moments observing yourself feeling your body so we're going to rub the palms of the hands together creating heat between the hands and bringing the hands to your body in whichever position you want you can have it in prayer position or touching your chest or touching your chest and your lower belly we are just going to take a moment to give gratitude for this time this space this practice gratitude to nature all around us and we're going to close by chanting the mantra sat nam one time it's a long sat and a short nam so take a deep inhale to chant to chant breathe in here may the long time sun shine upon you may love surround you and the pure light within guide you home thank you so much for practicing
