
Speak Your Truth With Confidence
This is a somatic experience to help you improve your ability to be yourself everywhere you go. You will have the opportunity to release any tension built on the throat chakra and practice feeling comfortable to speak your truth even if you don't know what your truth is, with love, kindness and compassion. Welcome to this meditation to help you to speak your truth.
We're going to be focusing in our throat chakra,
The center of expression,
Pure expression of your ideas,
Your feelings and your emotions.
So you're going to have a chance to get clear on what is important to you to say,
The truth that needs to be said.
We also encourage you to have clearer boundaries and be able to say no when necessary.
I invite you to take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And once again,
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth.
And you're going to start activating the throat through the oceanic breath,
Which is the sound of ocean when we are exhaling.
So we're going to do this a few times,
Breathing in through the nose and oceanic breath out.
And by adding the breath exhale comes straight from the back of the throat,
Breathing in and out.
And a few times more.
And even if you want to sigh out is a good exercise to activate the throat.
The throat helps you to express yourself in the world.
Your beliefs,
Your opinions,
Your deepest feelings,
How you communicate and create intimacy and connection with others.
How you bring innovation in the world.
So let's start by bringing a situation,
A circumstance where you held back your expression.
Maybe you held back because you didn't know how people would react by knowing your truth.
Maybe you thought that your opinion was too strong,
Or maybe people would not agree with it.
Maybe it's an invisible block,
It's something that you know is there,
Ready to be said,
But it just can't come out.
Just take a time to connect with a situation in your past,
Recent,
Or maybe it was a long time ago.
Maybe it's a memory from childhood where you're not allowed to express yourself in a certain way.
And notice as you bring that situation,
Letting it be there and sensing in the body,
How the body reacts.
How is your chest?
How is your belly?
How is your throat?
How does your throat feel?
Is it free or is it tight?
Is there any heaviness in your chest or belly?
Just bringing a feel,
Just bringing a few deep breaths to the sensations that you notice in your body.
Being really gentle and kind to yourself.
I invite you to wherever you feel the most tense or tight part in your body right now,
Just go ahead and place your hand there.
It could be the head,
It could be the throat,
It could be the chest,
The belly.
Just gently holding.
And a few oceanic breaths into the area.
And as you hold the area,
You may notice that there is something that wants to be expressed.
Something that's really,
Really important for you to say.
Something that will change your life and also make a difference in the world.
It can be small,
It can be big.
But that's your truth.
And that's the truth that you want to communicate and express.
And kindly and with curiosity.
Asking that part,
Asking that truth,
Why is it important?
How will that change people's lives?
How is what I have to say connected to love?
How is this love?
I invite you to picture one person who you really,
Really would love to receive and to truly hear your truth.
It can be someone you love dearly,
Family,
Friend,
Your boss.
Or it could be yourself,
Seeing yourself in front of you or looking at yourself in the mirror.
And allow yourself to allow the energy of your truth to start exhaling from your body.
Start leaving your body in the shape of light,
In the form of light or smoke.
Something that can reach gently the person in front of you.
And maybe what you are communicating is as if you were communicating through telepathy.
And you are saying those things that you feel and what you really,
Really desire.
Telling this person what you really,
Really deeply desire in your heart.
And what do you need?
And the need may include how would you feel safe?
How could that person help you to feel safe in your truth?
Maybe you just want to vulnerable ask that you are heard.
All that you want is to be heard once for the first time.
And maybe you want to be heard once for the first time.
So keeping allowing maybe there are words that come and want to be shared with this other person or it's just energetic or emotional awareness.
And sparking the acceptance and deep understanding and connection.
Where you thought would be judgment that's in fact.
Deep understanding.
And forgiveness.
How do you sing for the first time in your truth?
You get to see how your opinion is important.
Intuition leads you to create more opportunities for love,
Acceptance and connection.
Not only for yourself,
But for all of those around you.
Honoring you for speaking your truth.
And honoring the other person.
Even if the person is you.
We're going to honor the parts of the body.
And connect that with the throat so we can.
In future,
Express that more clearly.
So for that,
I invite you to place like both of your hands on your lower abdomen.
Breathing into the lower abdomen.
There you hold your your instincts.
Your desires.
Your magic.
Your wildness.
Your desire to dance.
Your desire to belong.
So,
Allowing a color to arise in that region of your lower belly.
In case anything comes through.
You can receive the color gold.
And allowing that color that came through to you to rise up slowly towards the throat.
And allowing that color or the gold color to form the connection between your lower belly,
Your instincts and your throat.
So you can express yourself.
Your sensuality,
Sexuality,
Creativity in a very healthy way.
Deep breath in and out.
And we're going to place hands on the chest.
Honoring our feelings,
Our emotions.
Knowing that all our emotions are welcomed.
Knowing that all your emotions are welcomed,
Including any sadness and grief and frustration,
Anger.
And including the emotions that we tend to hide which are shame and guilt and hurt.
The things that we keep to ourselves.
Maybe it's a time to honor that to ourselves.
To say,
Hey,
I am feeling this emotion.
I don't like feeling it,
But it's a way to start making connection and creating awareness to heal it.
Deep breath into all your feelings or your emotions.
Whatever they are.
And you're going to bring now the hands to the head.
Just letting your hands land on your cranial.
And blessing,
Blessing the thoughts,
Blessing the information that you receive,
That you channel.
The pure consciousness,
The innovation that you receive from the source.
And now bringing one hand to chest and another one stays in the head.
Knowing that the throat is in the middle,
Checking with the chest if there is a color.
Nothing comes through,
You can use green.
And the head as well.
The ideas,
The amazing ideas you have.
The ideas that are going to build projects for the future.
And a color for each one of them.
Allowing those two colors from your chest and from your head.
To walk towards each other and meet in the throat.
So you are also able to express your emotions and your ideas.
Taking a deep breath in and allowing that color from your throat,
That's the mix of the three colors from your belly,
From your heart,
From your head to meet on your throat.
And come out through your throat and travel towards the houses of those around you in your neighborhood.
In your town.
Expanding,
Letting that expand to reach the whole world.
A deep breath in gratitude for yourself,
For your time,
For your commitment to this practice today.
Just taking notice if there is a new truth arising for you there.
Is there any truth arising in your heart right now?
My invitation is that you practice with this new truth by either writing down on a piece of paper at the end of this meditation or speak it to somebody,

Share it,
Even if it's challenging.
You can also choose to speak towards your image on the mirror.
That can also be very powerful and transformational.
Every time you come back to this meditation,
You have a new opportunity to deepen what you know to be truth,
To be true.
Coming back into your breath,
Into your body and present moment.
Maybe you want to give the body a big stretch and slowly open your eyes when you're ready.

Just the meditation I needed to hear today, Camila🤗 Glad I connected as I searched for a meditation that would help me speak my truth in a challenging situation I’m experiencing right now. It’s brought up tears 🥲 and clarity. I will come back to it as “Speaking my Truth” has been a challenge of mine for a great many years😔 Mostly due to my upbringing.
