I AM Yoga Nidra For Acceptance
I AM Yoga Nidra follows the Amrit Integrative Method of Yoga Nidra. This guided meditation is meant to be done lying down with a blanket to cover up with and cushion under your head. We'll start with the sound of AUM (om) and progressively enter deeper levels of relaxation through our breath and body awareness. Our intention for the practice is "I accept myself as I am, and the world as it is". We'll end with Om Namo Bagavate Vasudeva to give honor to the masters that came before us.

So just allow yourself to settle into the practice.
Just begin to prepare your mind to enter into this deeper state of relaxation through yoga nidra.
And we're going to start with the om again if you haven't done that before.
It's just making the sound of om.
It's a singing tone in the voice if you're not comfortable with om.
Just go ahead and hum to yourself this out.
Oh,
You can keep the mouth closed and just hum one time into your heads you can feel the vibration.
Otherwise if you're comfortable doing the om sound go ahead and close your eyes and allow your attention to turn inward.
And just bring your attention to the breath and feel the body beginning to relax with each progressive exhalation.
Now let's take a deep breath in together and we'll chant this chant the sound of om take a big breath in.
Allow the vibrational impact of the sound to bring outwardly focused attention inward and close your eyes and quiet your mind.
Be still.
Let go of all thoughts,
Worry,
Intention and give yourself fully to a higher power.
Relax,
Trust and let go.
Now breathe in fully.
Then exhale with a deep sigh.
And again,
Big breath in and exhale with a deep sigh letting go even more.
Feel a deep sense of peace and contentment in your heart.
Now allow yourself to receive the following intention as I repeat it.
Your whole body listen to what I say.
I accept myself as I am and the world as it is.
Bring your body into awareness and recognize that it's been a trusted vehicle creating accomplishments and contributions to the best of its ability.
Now it's time for your body to rest deeply.
Now lift the right leg a few inches off the floor as you continue to breathe and hold.
And then exhale,
Release the leg to the floor.
Let go completely.
Feel heaviness flooding the leg.
Now lift the left leg a few inches off the floor.
And continue to breathe as you hold.
Then exhale,
Release the leg and let go completely.
Feel heaviness flooding the leg.
Now tense and lift the buttocks,
Hips and pelvis slightly off the floor and hold.
Hold a little bit more.
Keep breathing and let go and drop.
Feel the whole body letting go.
Surrender to gravity.
Now make fists and contract the arms until they lift off the floor and continue to breathe.
Hold and let go.
Let go completely.
Surrender to the field of gravity pulling you down deeper.
Thinking deeper and deeper,
Melting into the floor.
Now follow my guidance as we take three deep breaths.
Let's inhale together.
Hold the breath in,
Closing off the throat.
When prompted by the inner urging of the body,
Release the breath slow and steady.
And breathe normally.
And second breath now.
Take a big breath in.
Hold the breath in,
Closing off the throat.
Allowing tension to build,
Holding a bit longer without struggle.
And when prompted,
Release fully,
Expelling from the body whatever it no longer needs.
Deep seated tension,
Leaving your body with the breath.
And breathe normally.
And third breath.
Let's breathe in together.
Hold the breath in,
Closing off the throat.
Holding even longer now,
But without strain.
And when prompted,
Release the breath,
Breathing it all out.
Letting it all go until there's nothing left,
Until you are completely empty.
And breathe normally.
Simply allow the breath to rise and fall in its own rhythm.
The breath becoming progressively quieter and more still.
Feel it's almost impossible to detect.
Feel yourself descending down into the stillness beneath the mind.
All excess tension and holding carried out with each exhaling breath.
Release any struggle to make anything happen.
Maintaining this inner stillness,
You can gently cover yourself if you wish and place an eye pillow over your eyes.
As we enter this next phase of yoga nidra,
Remain as motionless as possible.
If you need to move or make an adjustment,
Do so mindfully and return to stillness as soon as you're able.
Resolve to remain awake,
Staying in touch with the sound of my voice.
Allow your entire body to respond to my words directly and non mentally.
Allow any disturbances external or internal to draw you more deeply within.
In yoga nidra,
You enter the subconscious pranic field.
Let your mind merge and melt into the energy body and go beyond the boundaries of body and mind.
Now shift from thinking and doing to feeling and being.
Do absolutely nothing from now on.
Carefully relax and drop into the deepest state of tranquility,
Stillness and peace in the third eye.
Now,
Become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.
Simply relax and observe the breath.
Notice if the breath is fast or slow,
Deep or shallow.
Whatever is happening,
Simply relax and witness the breath.
Now gently deepen your inhalations and exhalations.
Stay connected to every breath in and every breath out.
Now we'll inhale and exhale to a count of four.
Exhale 1234.
Exhale 1234.
Continue on your own counting silently.
Find your own rhythm,
Soft and easy.
Release any struggle to make anything happen.
If any thoughts come into your mind,
Simply bring your attention back to the count.
Realize yourself becoming more relaxed and peaceful with each breath.
Tranquility,
Stillness and peace washing over you with each outgoing breath.
Now breathe normally.
Observe the breath becoming very quiet and still,
Almost non-existent.
Let the breath breathe itself.
Sink down into the silence beneath the mind.
Let go of any effort to make anything happen.
Drop into that silent space where all doing stops.
Let go of any effort to make anything happen.
Now bring your breath into awareness.
Specifically the breath is felt in the nostrils.
Sense the movement and stillness,
The coolness and warmth or whatever is present.
Follow your attention to the range of sensations derived from the breath moving through the nostrils.
With your next inhalation,
Let attention follow the flow of the breath into the nostrils,
Back into the sinus cavities and down the back of the throat.
Let your attention move into the mouth.
Notice the roof of the mouth,
The teeth,
Gums,
Lips.
Feeling all of the experiences as a loosely held field of energy.
As you exhale,
Allow attention to move forward and outside the mouth as it broadens upward to include the upper lip,
The nose,
Cheeks.
Let your attention move to the eyes,
The forehead and the temples.
Feeling the sensations in the scalp and down the back of the head.
Starting here,
Relax and feel the various sensations present in the entire head.
Now slowly and softly guide attention to the pit of the throat.
Simply relax into the experience present at the pit of the throat.
Allow attention to flow outward along the collarbones to the shoulders,
Down along the arms,
The wrists,
Palms and fingers.
Simply remain relaxed and receptive to what is,
Whether it's something or nothing.
Allow focus to broaden to include the torso,
Down into the bowl of the pelvis,
Behind the pubic bone in the front to the sacrum in the back.
Feeling the sensations and spaciousness present in the front of the hip creases,
The buttocks,
The area of the groins,
Everywhere in and around the pelvic girdle.
Allow attention to fill the thighs,
Knees,
Shins,
Ankles,
Feet,
The entire lower body,
Pelvis,
Legs and feet bathed in awareness.
Now allow blanket of attention to cover the feet,
Ankles and shins,
Thighs and hips.
A blanket of attention covering the belly,
Chest,
Arms and head.
Breathe and experience the entirety of the body.
Every sensation in every cell felt simultaneously and equally.
Relax as that space,
Boundless and free.
Check the space you see this space be.
Bring your attention to a constricted or dense part of the body.
Though you may not consciously recognize the cause of this feeling,
The innate intelligence of your body knows how to resolve it.
Breathe into this area.
Make space for it.
Give it room to move.
Loosen.
Disperse.
The body releasing whatever it no longer needs.
Now sense the body's healing energy streaming towards this area as if it were attracting it like a magnet.
Watch this part of your body returning to wholeness,
Vitality,
As it's surrounded by this healing light.
With each inhalation,
Begin to sense the body is more energy than density.
Feel the whole body is felt as a tingling,
Pulsating energy field.
Any emotions,
Thoughts,
And fears that may have contributed to the imbalance can now be released and resolved.
See and feel the whole body healed and whole.
Let your attention shift and focus your inward gaze on the third eye.
You've entered the sacred space of Shiva consciousness,
Where unmanifest potentiality has become manifest actuality.
Visualize yourself in the unmanifest part of your being.
Allow the duality of mind to merge into the oneness of spirit.
Let go in the experience so totally that you become the experience.
Feel the fifteen hour control colors Maintenance form the empath until you become Here your intention and your affirmations are out.
You are now actualized and fulfilled with effortless ease.
Allow yourself to receive the following intention as I repeat it.
Feel every cell of your body receiving these words.
I accept myself as I am,
And the world as it is.
I accept myself as I am,
And the world as it is.
I accept myself as I am,
And the world as it is.
Allow this intention to go to the deepest levels of recognition with no hesitation.
Know that your higher self recognizes honors and accepts your intention of faith and trust that it's been heard.
And is being acted upon by the higher power of the source within you.
I know that I'm not the only one who is in the room.

Bring your attention back to the center between the eyebrows.

Return to the third eye,
Where energies from all the meridians come into deep unification integration harmony and balance.
And establish a whole new relationship with reality.
Regardless of how it begins to show up in your life.
Keep your heart open to all conditions.
Now establish your connection with the Guru Mantra.
Bring your forefinger and thumb together establishing the connection to the Guru within the master you are connected to the lineage of masters,
And the Guru Mantra.
This will reconnect you with the power of protection and guidance,
Whenever you need it in everyday life.
Now begin to become aware of the rising and falling of the breath.
Slowly feel yourself beginning to rise to the surface of awareness.
Feel the body resting on the floor.
You can stay lying here for a bit longer if you'd like,
But if you're ready you can gradually begin to move as if waking from a restful sleep.
When you're ready,
Gently bring your knees into your chest and rock from side to side,
Take your time.
There's no rush.
And then turn to your right side and curl into a position with the knees still close to the chest.
Bring your intention into your awareness again.
I accept myself as I am,
And the world as it is.
Every time you find yourself in reaction you are empowered to replace it with your intention.
Now you can gradually move and begin to sit up with your eyes still closed.
And regardless of what you consciously recognize that has or has not changed.
Know that something deep within has shifted to connect you with your intention.
Become aware of your body.
Bring a deep sense of peace and contentment with you as you bring your attention back to the body.
