Transcript

Welcome to the pine forest.

Close your eyes.

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale softly through the mouth.

Imagine you are standing in a vast pine-covered forest.

Start by listening to your surroundings.

Are there sounds of birds chirping or water flowing?

Is the wind rustling against the soft pine needles and branches of the trees?

Or is there a sound when your foot sinks into the spongy forest floor?

Inhale through the nose.

Soft exhale through the mouth.

Imagine you are touching a nearby pine tree.

Feel the prickly texture of the needles as they graze across your fingertips.

Is there a gentle breeze cooling your skin?

Are you barefoot and grounding yourself deeply into the soft earth below?

Inhale deeply breathing in the scent of the piney trees and plants that surround you.

Is the air damp and fresh?

Are there flowers or herbs nearby that you can admire and smell?

Inhale.

Soft easy exhale.

On your next inhale,

Begin to imagine the taste of the forest on your tongue.

What are the flavors that dance along your tongue?

Maple?

Pine?

Are there fresh berries or mushrooms you can safely pick and eat?

Inhale.

Exhale.

What does your forest look like?

Are you surrounded by tall protective pine and oak trees with sunlight poking through the leaves?

Are there tall blades of lush grass or lots of brush?

What colors do you see when looking ahead?

Are there any animals you can spot along your journey?

What tiny critters do you see floating around or crawling by?

Inhale through the nose.

Exhale through the mouth.

Twice more.

Deep inhale.

Long exhale out of the mouth.

Inhale fully.

Long easy exhale.

Whenever you're ready,

Slowly float your eyes open.
