Life can move like a racing river. This simple process helps to reconnect and center oneself to feel a sense of renewal during the day. It's best to practice this when in a space where you won't be interrupted for 6 minutes.

Let's begin with a very simple and gentle approach to bringing yourself into this moment.

Slowing down,

Tuning in,

And relaxing.

I invite you to place one hand on your heart.

Begin to feel your heartbeat and the warmth of your skin.

Turning your attention towards the quality of your breathing.

Is your breath reaching all the way down to the base of your belly?

Are you noticing that you're getting hung up somewhere in between the inhale and the exhale?

Is it stopping midway?

Just notice your breath,

But don't change anything.

Allow what is as it is.

And feel the base of your pelvic floor.

Are you gripping on and holding on to yourself,

Or is there softness there?

Turn towards the base of your spine,

The back of your body.

And notice if you're rigid or flexible.

How has your low back been feeling today?

And walk your attention up your spine,

Coming to the shoulder blades.

Are they pulled back?

Are they in a resting position?

And notice your shoulders.

How does it feel right now for your shoulder blades and your actual shoulders?

Are they holding the weight of the world,

Or do you feel easy and light?

Go up just a little bit farther and begin walking your attention around your jawline.

Are you clenching or grinding?

Where is your tongue?

Is it pressing against the roof of your mouth,

Or is it resting?

Coming up the bridge of your nose,

In between your eyebrows.

What's happening there?

Are they pinched together,

Or are they nice and spread apart?

And make your way to the crown of your head.

And turn your attention right to the center of your head.

Look up just a little bit.

And see if there is light flowing in.

Is it trickling in a drop at a time?

Maybe there's a thread.

Is it a stream or a waterfall?

Coming back to the hand on your heart.

And noticing what is your intention for yourself today?

What is it that you're hoping to receive throughout the day?

And what is it that you're willing to give?

What are you giving towards your own intentions and the quality of your life?

Feel free to make any adjustments that you need as you slowly begin to open your eyes.

Maybe give a nice big stretch,

Reaching up to the sun or the moon,

Depending on the time of day.

Rub your hands down the tops of your thighs.

Say hello to your feet.

Hello feet.

And get back into the rhythm of your day.

Thank you so much.
