Hello,

I am Brielle Brazil.

I am a breathwork facilitator.

And in this morning's practice,

We are going to be doing breathwork to help connect with your heart,

To bring in more self-love into your life.

Breathwork is the most powerful self-healing modality to disconnect from the busyness and the stress of the mind and get into the heart space,

Get into the truth and the wisdom of your body.

In this morning's practice,

We're going to be breathing in two different ways.

And if you are newer to this practice,

I highly suggest that you lay down on your back,

Laying down flat on your back,

Making sure there's no pillow under your neck,

That your head's completely flat.

And if you want,

You can bring both hands up to your heart or maybe just one hand to your heart and one hand to your belly.

We're going to be starting with some breath awareness,

Just observing the breath and then moving into a conscious continual breath,

Which is just in through the nose and out through the mouth with ease like this.

And then we will be moving into the active portion of our breathing,

Which is where you will actually maintain the same breath pattern in through the nose and out through the mouth,

But instead it will be active.

It will be powerful.

It will be intentional,

Picking up the intensity of the breath.

So that active breath will sound more like this.

And then we will end with that gentle,

Conscious,

Continual breath.

I will guide you through the entire practice.

You don't need any prior breathing experience to do this exercise.

You can begin right as you are.

So lying down flat on your back,

At least one hand on your heart,

Maybe both.

Just taking a moment to connect here with your breath,

Beginning to notice each inhale and each exhale,

Noticing the speed of your breath,

Noticing the quality,

The texture,

The depth,

Noticing and observing your breath without trying to change or fix anything.

That's it.

And as you begin to notice your breath,

Just noticing what happens to your body,

Noticing any areas where you're holding some tension or some stress,

Noticing where there's openness and there's spaciousness for expansion in your body,

Trusting and knowing that you can hold both sensations,

Two varying or more sensations at one time.

When you're ready,

We're gonna start that gentle,

Conscious,

Continual breath together,

In through the nose and out through the mouth.

With each inhale,

Breathing into your heart space,

Breathing in the energy of love.

And on each exhale,

Releasing any self-criticism,

Self-doubt,

Fear,

Releasing from your body.

Breathing up through the belly and into the heart,

Filling up and receiving more of you.

Breathing and letting go of needing to please others or do things right or have it be perfect,

Letting go and accepting what is.

Breathing in forgiveness for yourself or past mistakes,

Things that you wish you would have handled differently.

Breathing out any shame or guilt for the way that things turned out with certain people or in certain situations.

Staying with that conscious breath just a little bit longer,

Seeing if you can slow down and elongate each inhale and each exhale.

Beautiful job.

You are love.

You deserve to be loved and to give and receive love from yourself and from others.

Breathing with you,

Starting with this practice,

Receiving each breath to receive more of you.

With each inhale,

Accepting the parts of yourself that you've been fighting,

That you've been critical of,

That you've been at war with.

On the exhale,

Letting go of that negative self-talk,

That doubt,

That disbelief in you.

Taking three more of these gentle cleansing breaths.

Last two.

And as you release the final breath,

We're gonna be moving into that active breath.

Same pattern,

Just with more intensity,

Power,

And intention whenever you're ready.

Awesome.

Beautiful.

Focusing on the depth of the breath here over the speed.

Your speed could be entirely different from mine.

You might be going slower,

You might be going quicker.

That doesn't matter,

That's not important.

And the pace that feels good in your body and focus on that depth.

Seeing if you can breathe in deeper through the belly and on the exhale fully releasing,

Fully letting go of anything that has been holding you back from completely loving all parts of you.

Beautiful job,

Just staying right there with this active breath.

And if the mind is busy,

Know that that's normal.

Just bring the focus back to your breath,

Focusing on the depth.

And if you begin to feel a little bit dizzy or light headed,

That's totally normal.

Know that you are in control of this experience and of your breath.

You can slow your breath down,

You can take a pause or if it feels better,

You can come back to that gentle breath.

But if you can,

Just staying with that active breath,

Breathing into your heart space and on that exhale,

Maybe you wanna make some noise.

Maybe there's some movement that needs to be made.

Just listening to your body and releasing as your intuitive body wants to release and let go with your breath,

With sound,

With movement and coming right back into that deep inhale.

You deserve to be loved and to love and it's safe.

It's safe for you to breathe into your heart,

To open this space.

And if emotions wanna come out as you're breathing,

That's normal as well.

It's allowing the emotions to come out,

To fully express and then to come back to your breath.

We're here,

Just one more minute.

You've got this,

You can do it.

Using that breath continual,

Keeping it active,

Moving the energy through your body with your breath.

That's it,

Just a little bit longer.

Breathing in love,

Exhaling the war,

The fight,

The grip,

The resistance that you've had to meeting certain parts of yourself.

It's okay to have parts of yourself that you don't fully understand or that you don't fully like.

But with each breath,

You get to invite in some more compassion,

Some more love and some deeper understanding.

Taking 10 more of these active breaths.

Five more.

Last active breath.

And as you release,

You might wanna sigh it out and then inhale through the nose and sigh it out with your mouth.

Bringing as many of those sigh breaths as you need to take.

And when you're ready,

Just moving back into that gentle and slow,

Continual,

Conscious,

Gentle breath.

Bringing your hands to your heart if they're no longer there.

Breathing inward with you.

Staying here just a little bit longer.

Staying with each breath.

Feeling the spaciousness that's been created in your body.

The space to invite in more love for you and into your day.

Realizing what just the short period of conscious breath does for your body,

Your emotions,

Your mind,

Your soul.

Breathing into the heart space,

Filling your heart chakra with love.

Exhaling anything that's leftover that gets to be released right here.

And when you're ready,

Completely releasing all intention with your breath.

Completely releasing a pattern and coming back into a more natural breath,

The way that your body wants to breathe in this moment.

Just being here with what is.

Noticing the sensations.

Noticing the emotion.

Just observing and loving each part that's here with you today.

I hope that you've enjoyed this practice of using breath work to bring in more self-love.

And if you did,

Definitely stick around and let's connect.

I am sending you so much love today,

Each and every day.

And come back to this practice whenever you need it.

Take care.

Bye for now.
