In this session, Brendan will help you re programme your mind, to better enact self restraint from overeating. He will help you develop the habits of eating more slowly, and to be content with the consumption of a healthy sized meal.

What if you can eat less and actually enjoy it more?
It is possible to redefine your impulses around food.
And you can realize these kinds of results in a very amazing,
Very powerful way.
Almost instantly.
And all you have to do is focus on the sound of my words in whatever way feels the best for you.
You might find yourself becoming totally fascinated or find yourself enjoying some well deserved relaxation.
As you hear everything playing in the background.
Either way,
This allows the deeper parts of your mind to free up your powerful imagination and follow along completely in a guided way.
So get a hold of your physical anchor,
Hitting pause if you need to,
And take a deep breath.
And when I direct you to and not a moment before,
You're going to close your eyes as I count down from 3,
2,
1.
Close your eyes all the way down now.
And only you know how deeply you can go into trance today.
And you can discover this as I count down from 5 to 1.
And when I reach 1,
You get to enjoy this wonderfully safe,
Healthy trance.
Right on the threshold of sleep.
Right in your powerful resource state.
Where you can make powerful,
Healthy,
Instantaneous changes.
And this happens in 5.
Feeling so physically relaxed.
Held securely by the surface beneath you.

Outside sounds and noises can only help you go deeper and deeper into this dreamy,
Drowsy state.

As far as you want to go today into this warm,
Velvety darkness.
Now you can focus on your attitudes and your beliefs and your thoughts when it comes to eating.
And imagine a time when you were absolutely hungry.
You were so remarkably hungry that you were just famished.
Really get a hold of a time like this.
And once you can notice these feelings,
Focus on the actual physical sensations of hunger inside your body.
Because the more you can identify these physical feelings of being hungry,
The more you can separate out any emotional feelings that haven't already faded away.
And what's it like when you let all but the physical stuff drift away just for now?
Because this way you can really strengthen your perception of these hunger signals.
More and more each time.
More and more each time you work with this.
And in your daily life.
So where does the hunger start?
Where does it spread to?
Where do you feel it the strongest in your physical body?
These are the signals that tell you to stop and eat something.
Now really focus on these to the point where you can crank them up making them stronger and stronger.
More identifiable and easier to recognize.
Perfect.
That's perfect.
Now you can just relax and take a nice deep cleansing breath and switch gears for a moment.
Recalling a time when you were just stuffed.
The opposite.
A time when you were so overwhelmingly full that stuffed is the best way to describe this.
Now what's it like to focus on these feelings?
The feelings of being full.
Totally full.
Stuffed in fact.
A really strong recognition of these feelings is possible.
Where do these feelings start?
Where do they spread to?
And where do you feel them the strongest?
It's these powerful signals that say stop.
You cannot eat.
You're done.
And the more you can experience this the more you can dramatically increase your perception of these physical signals of being full.
More and more each and every time.
Each and every time you work on this and throughout the rest of your life.
This is important information.
It's your body sending powerful physical signals that say stop eating.
You're finished with that food.
Right here.
Right now.
You're done.
So crank up these physical signals of being full inside your body in any way that you can.
Make them stronger and stronger.
More identifiable and easier to recognize.
That's it.
Overwhelmingly full now.
The more you do this the more you can naturally experience new healthier impulses with food.
You get a stronger set of signals directing you when to eat and when to stop eating.
Bringing this out into your day to day life.
How can you make these signals stronger and stronger and make these signals more and more identifiable?
Take another nice deep cleansing breath and as you do clear your mind and go to a neutral state a resting state just for a moment and breathe deeply again.
And when you're ready you can go back and focus on being hungry again.
Really crank up this physical feeling of being hungry.
Perfect.
That's just perfect.
Crank this up so that it's clearly recognizable.
Perfect.
And when you have it you can take a moment and clear your mind once more.
Going back to this neutral state again.
And now switch back to the failings of being full.
The physical sensations from being stuffed.
Really crank this up.
This stuffed feeling.
That's it.
This overwhelming feeling.
That's it.
Great.
Take a deep breath again and as you clear your mind going back to this neutral state it can become easy to notice the difference between hungry and full.
Clearly identifying the vast range between hungry and full.
Now at times it can take some effort to focus and other times you can let the focus happen but in letting it happen you find the ability to defocus.
Now no effort is required to focus or defocus or letting it happen for that matter and focusing on defocusing can be an effort as well as a focus that you can just let happen.
Either way you're provided with a choice.
A choice to just relax and be aware.
Be aware of eating itself.
Eating slowly and with purpose.
This way you can use what you've learned and enjoy food.
You can slow down and get some pleasure out of eating for once.
There are so many things in life that can give you more pleasure when you slow down and enjoy.
The things that drive you to slow down and smell the roses.
This can be the same with food.
Eating enjoyment from slower eating can happen and in this eating slowly while much of your awareness is engaged in this enjoyment much of it is also searching for and receiving the signals telling you that you're full.
The signals telling you that you're finally done.
The signals telling you to instantly stop eating.
You know you're satisfied with all that you've had and you just stop and put your fork down.
Put the food down and relax because you're building all these different signals.
You're making them stronger and stronger and even stronger and it's unbelievably healthy because you get to focus on the healthy signs,
The healthy signals that help you lose more and more weight and in the future it's possible to continue realizing that you're now somebody that eats slowly and someone who enjoys food.
Now can you remember a time when you were eating something and really enjoying it?
Maybe you can imagine this absolutely delicious food right now and imagine that it's your job to describe all the different tastes while eating this.
Noticing how you enjoy this much better now that you naturally take the time to slow down,
Listen and enjoy because you want to take all the time you can to enjoy this.
It's so much better now that you can slow down and deeply focus on the wonderful tastes and textures the whole time feeling this growing feeling of being full.
Being more and more full with every patient slow bite.
Above all just taking the time to really enjoy the tastes,
All the different tastes of this food realizing that in the past you might have cheated yourself by not taking all the time to enjoy but that's way in the past now.
You can now take the time and patience to really,
Really enjoy.
And to make this vividly real for your subconscious mind you can go ahead and again hold that physical anchor feeling the weight,
The texture,
The shape and the temperature and then bring it into this vividly real dream and imagine eating with whatever hand makes sense and holding this anchor with the other making sure that this all feels just right.
Visualizing this,
Making this so real.
What does this food smell like?
What does this food taste like as you eat it so slow?
Are you inside or are you outside?
What are you wearing?
How are you feeling?
How are you feeling as you hold this physical object making this all so real?
As you eat this so slowly now?
When you pour your focused imagination into this,
How much more real are you making it?
How much more vivid are you making it?
Discover what it's like to examine this step by step taking all the time you need to eat this food slowly,
Taking one small bite after the other.
Imagine taking another bite right now and chewing as I pause,
Actually physically chewing the whole time as I pause,
Allowing yourself to get all the enjoyment that you can from this one single bite and going twice as deep when you hear my voice again.
So do this now.
Great now take a deep cleansing breath and go deeper and deeper because the truth is that whatever is measured gets stronger and throughout your day it's quite possible to find what you're doing correctly focusing on this and celebrating the realization that this is actually happening now.
Maybe you noticed this as the times when you discover that you've done this naturally throughout the day and maybe you discover this when throughout the day you're offered a door number one,
Door number two scenario where you finally have the choices and you naturally pick what's healthy and safe and positive for you.
Regardless of how this happens it's possible to notice that the more you take the time to measure these results the stronger they get.
Now this is the point where you get to enjoy these last few moments of trance because these concepts are all meant for your benefit and can repeat endlessly until fully integrated in a healthy way becoming your reality and each time you go into trance this only serves to strengthen this positive effect and every day in every way you get better,
Better and even better fully coming back to the room as I count from one to five.
One focusing on the feeling of the surface beneath you,
Two moving your hands and feet,
Three open your eyes,
Four refocus on the shapes and colors and forms and five take a nice deep breath and enjoy these last few moments and when you're ready go ahead and enjoy the rest of your day.

Thank you for this meditation. I have listened to it several times now. Right from the first time I was surprised at how effective it was. I am now so much more aware of the 'I am full' feeling I am quite naturally eating less. I I intend to keep working with this mediation to see if it makes a lasting difference.
