Welcome to Breathing Alchemy.
My name's Allie Koski.
My offering to you today is a space to allow your heart to be heard,
To be felt,
And to be honored.
Sometimes the mind and the heart get out of sync,
And this can contribute to feelings of stress and anxiety.
Let's drop in together today and allow space for the heart and the mind to renew their connection to one another.
Find a comfortable position for your meditation today,
Either lying down or sitting up with a straight spine.
We'll take our hands to rest right on top of the center of the chest.
This is our heart center,
The energetic center of the heart.
Invite a slow breath to roll in through your nose,
And exhale,
Close your eyes.
Begin to follow the pace of your breath,
Simply watching its presence coming and going.
Begin to drop your awareness right into the space behind your hands.
Now,
I want you to imagine that there's this little ball of light glowing right behind the palms of your hands.
As you focus on the light,
It begins to grow and glow a little brighter and a little fuller through the space of your chest.
Each inhale,
The ball of light gets a little bigger.
As you exhale,
The light spreads a little fuller across the space of your chest,
Continuing to hold your awareness right behind the palms of your hands.
As you watch this ball of light growing with each inhale and settling into the space of your body with each exhale,
We'll invite the mind to help us hold the focus in this space of the heart,
Inviting your mind to participate with your heart breathing.
Now,
Begin to balance the breath here,
Inhaling for a count of four and exhaling for a count of four.
Together here,
Let's blow all of our breath out so we can begin together.
Exhale completely.

Continuing to breathe a fluid,
Easy breath as if your heart is breathing.
Heart expanding as you inhale and softening as you exhale.
Begin to imagine that the light that is building in your heart space begins to flow upward through your throat,
Into your head,
Connecting into your mind.
The light begins to expand in your mind,
Being fed by the energy of your heart,
Letting the whispers of your heart begin to communicate with your mind,
Listening for the messages that are rising now.
What desires,
What desires are present in your heart?
Notice stirring and rising from your heart to your mind at this time.
Listening with your sense of feeling,
Our heart communicates in its language,
Which might be different than what you're used to hearing from your mind.
The heart communicates through a sense of a feeling.
Sometimes the messages from the heart don't make sense to our analytical minds.
Can we invite our minds to soften,
To listen?
Breathing into this incredible wisdom,
This internal compass,
Your inner guide,
The guru within you.
Imagining the light trickling back down into your heart space,
Creating a pathway of connection between your heart and your mind and from your mind to your heart,
Reestablishing the connection,
Reestablishing a pathway for communication to flow freely between your heart and your mind.
Resting into your heart space now,
Simply resting with your heart.
You continue becoming familiar with how your heart feels.
You learn to communicate with one another by spending time by leaning in and listening.
You can continue to rest here as long as you'd like.
