Loving and valuing ourselves is critical for living full and rich lives filled with new experiences and deep relationships. In this 20-minute meditation, I will guide you through 13 self-love affirmations to help you practice rewiring your self-talk in the positive direction and in turn, your perspective of yourself and your life.

Hello there my friends,

And thank you so much for joining me today for this nourishing self-love affirmations meditation.

Before we begin,

Let's find a comfortable position,

Either sitting or laying down with our spine straight.

Our hands can be wherever they feel most comfortable right now,

Perhaps on your sides,

On your heart,

Or belly.

Feel free to grab a blanket or pillow if you're desiring an extra level of support today.

Adjust yourself to your liking,

Knowing that there is no right way.

Your way right now is the right way for your body.

There will never be two of the same days,

And that's one of the great learnings we come upon as we walk this path inwards,

Towards the self,

The greater I am.

But on this path,

Depending on where we started,

We may experience some challenges and difficulties in accepting what we find,

Accepting our real selves,

Accepting all our self.

Begin to settle into your body,

Close your eyes if you haven't already done so,

And begin to breathe in deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth,

Letting go of the day thus far.

Two more times like this,

Breathe in through your nose,

Feeling your belly and your chest rise naturally,

And exhale out the mouth.

On your next inhale,

Bring your attention to the bottom of your feet,

And imagine yourself breathing in the power and support of the earth.

As you exhale,

Breathe through your nose and imagine exhaling through the bottoms of your feet,

Feeling yourself rooting into the energy of the earth,

That protective,

Divine,

Feminine,

Soothing,

Loving energy.

Continue to breathe this way in and out through your nose,

Focusing your attention on the bottoms of your feet,

And sensing the energy physically moving in and out of you as you re-establish yourself and your connection with Mother Gaia and her nurturing,

Loving nature.

Sense a white light filling you up on the inhale,

Removing all that no longer serves you on the exhale,

Whether it is thoughts,

Feelings,

Or physical sensations such as tension.

For the remainder of our time together,

Continue to breathe this way in and out through your nose,

With the focus on the energy moving through the soles of your feet.

If you lose yourself in thought,

Just gently guide yourself back.

This is very natural and common,

And in this self-love meditation,

Let's do our best to stay open to whatever shows up as a brave experiment of self-love.

Because what if something incredible is on the other side?

As you breathe,

I will repeat a set of self-love affirmations that come from my heart to yours.

As someone who has struggled for many,

Many years with self-love and acceptance,

I know firsthand the importance in changing the wiring of our thoughts,

Especially when it comes to self-talk.

The way we communicate with ourselves is a mirror for how we love and value ourselves and those around us.

Loving and valuing ourselves is critical for living full and rich lives filled with new experiences and deep relationships.

And when things get tough,

Or life presents new challenges,

We can lean on our self-love to get us through without running to old habits or detrimental coping strategies.

Self-love takes time because you are building an authentic relationship.

Just this time hits with yourself,

And it's also the most important relationship that we'll ever have.

So let's focus on rewiring our thoughts and building the bridge towards self-love,

One step at a time.

Repeat in your mind the following affirmations as you breathe in and out your nose,

And focus on the energy moving up and out your feet.

And if at any time this breathing technique comes too much for you,

Or you're finding yourself feeling confused,

Or you would prefer to breathe regularly,

You can always feel free to do so.

Feel into the space and send your sweet heart that beats non-stop for you an extra dose of love and light.

Notice how you feel.

You can place your hands on your heart,

Touching that sweet,

Tender place where your soul resides,

And gently open your eyes and bring yourself to the space and the room where we started.

How your body feels,

And if that has changed from the moment you entered this practice.

My hope is that you feel a more tender,

Deeper connection to yourself and know that you are always worthy of love.
