Welcome to the journey and the healing sand meditation.
This is a meditation that you should feel comfortable doing,
Either before you go to sleep at night,
And you can put it on just before you go to bed and just lie down and let the words carry you into a nice deep slumber.
Or if you'd like,
You can do this upon rising in the morning and you might like to find a nice upright comfortable position.
If you're sitting in a chair,
You can place your feet flat on the ground and maybe even put a pillow under them and sit with the back straight,
Comfortable and direct.
Or you can cross your legs,
Whatever's most comfortable for you.
So,
Taking a nice deep breath in.
Ah,
Letting it out.
And another nice deep breath in.
Ah,
Letting it out.
And just letting your awareness come to your awareness.
And noticing how vast and open and spacious he already is in front of you.
How free and fast and spacious it is behind.
And how open and endless it is to all sides.
And now bringing your awareness to your feet.
You know,
Our feet,
They're such willing servants.
They run,
They walk,
They go upstairs,
Push on the pedals in the car.
You might like to give them a communication that now is their time.
Just to deeply relax now.
And then allowing your feet to be filled with a heavy healing sand,
Pristine white flowing into the toes of the feet and the pads,
Into the arches and heels,
Across the tops of the feet,
This heavy healing sand flowing into the ankles and up into the calves,
The shins,
The legs,
The skin,
Even the bones of the leg.
Right out through the skin.
Feeling the whole leg as if filling a bottle with sand.
And up into the knees,
Behind the knees,
And into the thighs.
And lower thighs,
Middle of the thighs,
And upper thighs.
And then allowing whatever tension was there in the legs and feet,
Whatever stress or toxicity or impurities,
Whatever residual fatigue might be there,
Negativities,
Let it all just pour into the sand.
And then allowing the air to drain into the sand,
Be soaked up by the sand,
And opening a door at the back,
And allowing all that sand just to slide out.
Taking every grain of tension with it,
Every ounce of fatigue,
And leaving in its wake pure,
Open,
Shining awareness,
Boundlessly free,
Infinitely vast,
And ocean stillness.
And then allowing your torso,
Your body to be filled with this heavy,
Heavy,
Heavy,
Heavy,
Heavy,
Healing sand,
Pristine white,
Flowing into the pelvic region where the lower organs are,
And into the sides of the hips,
Deep into the belly,
Backside,
And into the waistline,
And into the lower body,
And into the kidneys,
And into the solar plexus diaphragm area,
This healing sand,
Filling the whole body,
As if filling a bottle with sand,
Right out through the skin.
And you'll notice how easy the breathing becomes,
How open and free it is,
As this healing sand flows into the chest,
And the lower lungs,
And back,
And into the middle of the chest,
Middle of the lungs,
Middle of the back,
Right into the bronchioles,
Even into the heart,
Softening the heart and opening the door to your own heart,
And upper lungs,
Upper chest,
Upper back,
Right into the shoulders,
Deeply into the shoulders,
The collarbone right where it meets the neck,
And down the shoulders,
Into the arms,
The elbows,
Forearms,
Wrists,
Hands and fingertips,
And then allowing whatever tension was there,
Or stress,
Or toxicity,
Or impurities,
Allowing whatever negativities might be there.
Let it all just drain now into the sand,
Pour into the sand,
Seep into the sand,
Be soaked up by the sand,
And then opening up a big door at the back,
Allowing all that sand just to slide out,
Taking every grain of tension with it,
Every ounce of fatigue,
And leaving in its wake pure,
Open,
Shining awareness,
Boundlessly free,
Infinitely fast,
That ocean,
Stillness,
And then allowing your throat to be filled with this heavy,
Heavy,
Strong,
Healing sand,
Pristine white,
Flowing into the front neck muscles,
The bones of the throat,
And the back neck muscles,
Right up into where it meets the skull,
And then deep into the jaw,
Giving the jaw the communication,
It can just relax,
It's grip now,
And flowing down the jaw into the chin,
Mouth,
Teeth,
Tongue,
Relaxing the roof of the mouth,
Softening the corners of the mouth,
Flowing into the nose and nostrils,
Sinuses,
Across the cheekbones,
And then deep into the ears,
Down the eustachian tubes,
And then deep into the brain,
Giving the brain the communication,
It can just relax,
It's grip now,
And into the eyes,
Eye sockets,
Softening the corners of the eyes,
And then deep into the upper brain,
Softening the forehead,
And right out through the scalp,
And then allowing whatever tension was there,
Whatever doubts,
Impurities,
Toxicity,
Residual fatigue,
Let it all melt now,
Into the sand,
Be soaked up by the sand,
Drain into the sand,
And opening a big door at the back,
And allowing all that sand just to slide out,
Taking every grain of tension with it,
Every ounce of tea,
And leaving in its wake,
Pure,
Open,
Shining awareness,
Boundlessly free,
Infinitely vast,
Yet local,
Like a cloud.
And all this hand gets swept away.
And I wonder how it would be if this ocean was realized to be even faster and more spacious in front of you.
What if it were even faster and freer behind you?
And more spacious to all sides of you?
And what if you were to rest now as if you were at the very bottom in the fathomless depths of an ever deepening ocean of stillness?
And what if every thought were a signal to go deeper now?
And what if every sound were a signal to go deeper into the fathomless depths of this ever deepening ocean of stillness?
And what if every thought were like so much flotsam and jetsam drifting on the surface as you remain at the very bottom?
And what if every thought were like so many clouds in the sky drifting by as you remain at the very bottom in the fathomless depths of this ocean of ever deepening stillness?
And the awareness remains open,
Spacious and vast,
Free in front.
And fast and open and free behind.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
And listen to all sides.
