This is the healing breath meditation.

If you'd like to do this before you go to sleep,

Make sure you find a comfortable position.

Lying down and take a few breaths in and then you can turn off the light and just allow my voice to carry you into the boundless stillness that is your very own source and you'll sleep in source itself.

Or if you're choosing to listen to this in the morning or sometime during the day,

I suggest that this not be listened to in the car,

But it's best to find a quiet time of the day and find a chair or you can sit on the ground with some pillows and make sure you find a comfortable position and you can put your feet flat on the ground or you can allow yourself to sit cross-legged,

But you might like to put your back into a nice upright but relaxed open chested position.

And when you're ready,

We can take some nice deep breaths in together.

Taking a nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And another nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And one more nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And now placing your attention on your breath,

Just noticing what it feels like as it comes in through the nostrils.

And then that little tiny pulse before the breath goes out and it goes out through the nostrils.

And that little tiny pulse before the breath comes in through the nostrils.

Then that little tiny pulse as the breath moves out.

Notice how as you draw your breath in,

How the air coming in is cool.

There's a pause and then how the air moving out is warmer.

There's a pause,

Breathing in,

Cool air,

Pause,

Feel the warm air now breathing out.

There's a pause and you can continue breathing in.

And as you breathe in,

When you get to the pause,

Just notice and let your attention rest on the pause before the out breath happens.

And after the out breath,

Let your attention rest in the pause between the breaths.

Without you doing anything,

Just letting your attention rest there,

You might notice that the pauses are a little longer.

And if you pay very close attention,

You might notice the stillness inherent in that gap between the breaths.

Just let yourself expand in that stillness between the breaths.

And then we're going to take some nice long deep breaths in together and I'll count out the time.

Just allowing your own attention,

Your own awareness to just rest on your breath effortlessly,

Easily,

Freely.

Then so taking a nice deep breath in,

Make certain as you're breathing now with me that when you breathe out you make certain that all the air during the West period has been breathed out.

So once again let's allow your diaphragm to be pressed against the back wall.

So breathe it all out,

And now just allowing your own breath to come back to normal.

And just notice how you're feeling right now as you place and rest your attention on the breath.

Noticing how it feels as you breathe in through the nostrils.

Let's pause that rest before you breathe out again.

And then pause the rest of the stillness before you breathe in again.

Pause.

And breathing out.

Then allow your own awareness to begin expanding,

Allowing this stillness that's inherent there in the breath to become vast and boundless in front.

Feel this awareness,

This stillness spreading,

Fastly behind.

Becoming spacious to all sides.

Free below.

Infinite above.

And just resting.

Steeping.

Soaking.

As an ever deepening vast ocean of stillness.

I wonder what it might be like if every sound were a signal to go deeper.

What if every body sensation were a signal?

To go deeper.

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomless,

Vast expanse of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomless,

Vast expanse of awareness?

What if every thought was like so much flotsam and jizzum,

Just drifting on the surface as if it were a signal of this never ending,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

What if every thought were a signal to go deeper into this ever deepening,

Fathomlessly deep ocean of awareness?

Taking a nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And another nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And one more nice deep breath in and allowing it out.

And if you're drifting off into sleep,

Allow yourself to deepen in this ever deepening vastness as you fall into this slumber of source itself.

And if you're choosing now to go about your day,

You can take another nice deep breath in and letting it out.

And allowing your own awareness to remain infinite in front,

Vast behind,

Open to all sides,

Feet below,

Spaces above,

And just resting as that knowing that whether the eyes are open or the eyes are closed,

Same,

Same awareness.

And that the whole of life's dance is welcome to take place in this faster context,

Keeping your own awareness very light,

Very vast,

Very open.

You can take another nice deep breath in and letting it out,

Staying as this spaciousness.

You may open your eyes now when you're ready.

And if you're choosing now to go about your day,

You can take another nice deep breath
