Hello,
Thank you for joining me.
My name is Bri and I'm going to be guiding you through a meditation.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting up or lying down.
Creating a space for yourself that is free of any distractions that are in your control.
If you're lying down,
Making sure your back is supported,
Arms and legs nice and long.
Allowing your feet to fall out to the sides.
If you're sitting up,
Bringing your shoulders down and back,
Releasing any tension.
And begin to close your eyes now,
Bringing awareness to your breath.
As you inhale through your nose,
Noticing the cool,
Fresh air.
As you exhale out through your mouth,
Noticing the warm sensation of your breath.
How are you feeling right now in this moment?
Scanning your body from the head to toes.
And allowing any tension or stress to melt away.
And relaxing all of the muscles in your face.
Allowing your jaw to release,
Your forehead to relax.
Your breathing release moves all the way down your neck,
Your shoulders,
Your chest.
Releasing your arms,
Your wrists,
Your fingertips.
Releasing your back,
Your belly,
Your hips from any stress,
Any tension.
Moving all the way down your legs,
Your ankles,
Through the tips of your toes.
Surrendering now to your breath.
Allowing any thoughts in this moment to come and go.
As we focus on self-awareness,
You will bring consciousness to your character,
Your feelings,
Motives,
And desires.
Often times it is easy to forget some of our desires,
Some of our feelings,
Maybe even our character.
So taking this moment to bring yourself back to your true self,
To your individuality.
Begin to deepen your breath now,
Breathing in through the belly,
And allowing the air to travel up into the chest,
All the way to the crown of the head,
And hold.
Slowly releasing now through the mouth,
Feeling your muscles melt.
Allowing your eyes to fall a little heavier,
Continuing your deep breaths.
And focusing on relaxing your body with each exhale.
Begin to think about something that has been weighing on you,
Something that is uncertain to you,
Maybe a time that someone or something needs you to question who you are.
Notice these feelings and emotions that arise when you think of these situations.
And as you inhale,
I want you to inhale all clarity,
And as you exhale,
Release any uncertainty.
Repeating in your head as you inhale clarity,
And exhale uncertainty.
Remembering that if you trust yourself and your intuition,
It will always guide you in the right path.
Remembering that you are unique,
Your opinions matter,
Your feelings matter.
Allow yourself now to accept these feelings.
And take the first step to understanding these emotions,
These situations.
Bringing your breath back to neutral.
Doing a scan from the crown of your head down through the fingertips,
Down through the toes.
Noticing any tension you may be holding onto in your body as you think of these things.
And as you inhale,
Visualize all of that healing air flowing to those areas in your body.
As you exhale,
Visualize anything that you're feeling that does not serve you.
Visualize that leaving your body.
Taking as many breaths as you need here.
Any energy that is not needed to exit out,
Allowing space for positive energy to ignite you.
Remembering that each and every one of us are unique in our own way.
Our thoughts may be similar,
Our experiences may be similar,
But our perspective is our own.
How we visualize the world,
How we visualize ourselves is coming through our eyes.
It's our choice to see ourselves in a positive light,
To give ourselves credit for what we've accomplished.
To see the true path,
The true opportunities is up to us.
Place one hand on your chest and another hand on your belly as we bring attention back to the mind,
The body,
And the breath.
Feeling your hand rise and fall as you inhale and you exhale.
Feeling your heart beat in your other hand.
Noticing the feeling of life inside of you.
Feeling your power.
Bring awareness back to the body now by wiggling your fingers and your toes.
You can start to flicker,
Open your eyes nice and softly,
Allowing yourself to just take a look around your space.
Finding a feeling of gratitude for being able to take this time for yourself.
Giving one more deep inhale in through the nose as you stretch your arms up,
Either behind you or up to the sky.
Just releasing and relaxing them down.
