Hello,

I'm Rev Skip,

Agape Minister,

Author,

And Spiritual Life Coach.

I want to welcome you to Soul Solutations,

A guided meditation for us to greet and honor our soul,

Also known as the Higher Self,

The Spirit,

Or the Divine Self.

I believe that we are spiritual beings having a spiritual experience within a human incarnation.

As spiritual beings,

We must learn to connect and operate from our spiritual self.

I want to begin this journey with a quote from Rumi.

There is a sun within every person.

Rumi reminds me,

We all have the sun or spirit or light within us.

When we recognize our spirit and we begin to move from a spiritual connection,

Our life has meaning.

We become very clear in how to move,

Where to move,

And when to move.

So in Sanskrit,

Namaskar is a word which means to bow or to adore.

Today when we move through our soul's solutation,

We bow to spirit.

We adore our spiritual selves.

Today is a renewing of our awareness of our connection to spirit,

To Mother Gaya,

To our soul.

We are connected to something greater than the human incarnation.

We are light beings,

We are light workers,

So we get to work from the light.

When we do a sun solutation in yoga,

It is also a wonderful way to practice gratitude.

We can be grateful for the wonderful gift of being on the mat.

We can be grateful for breath.

So we greet our soul in the same way.

Throughout this guided contemplative meditation,

We will honor the soul.

We will honor our connection to the light.

So let's begin.

Today I want to invite you to be seated for this meditation.

Get into a comfortable place where you can erect the spine.

Be alert,

But be comfortable.

We're going to do a little bit of physical movement in the seated place that you're in.

So lift your shoulders all the way up to your ears,

And I want you to squeeze at the very top.

Squeeze your shoulders all the way up towards your ears,

And just let them drop.

Let's do that again.

Lift the shoulders all the way up to your ears,

And just let them drop.

Yeah.

Now take your hands right in front of you.

I want you to squeeze your fingers together.

Take a big fist,

Big fist,

And then just let it go.

Again reach your hands all the way to the very front of you,

Right where you are,

And squeeze your hands,

Squeeze your hands,

And then let your arms and your fingers just go.

Let it just drop.

Good.

Let's do a couple rounds of breath.

Take a deep breath in through our nostrils.

Big exhale.

Let's do that again.

Take a deep breath in,

And a big exhale.

Close your eyes,

And just scan the body.

And today as you breathe in,

Just notice the breath.

Notice how it creates a rhythm,

An ebb and flow energy.

It moves into the body,

And there's an expansion.

As the air moves out of the body,

There is a contraction.

Dive deep into every cell of the body.

Be aware.

Be awake of any sensations you might be experiencing in this moment.

Stay mindful.

Stay alert,

And just breathe.

Your breath is the physical manifestation of your spirit,

So we are grateful that we can breathe.

It's a task.

Our divine self is alive and awake within us.

Your fate is in your ass,

Then you may choose to follow the right path.

We are soul beings and we are in awe of our spirit.

Breathe.

There is spirit within all of us and we are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are awake and aware of our soul and we give thanks.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

Our spirits every day with honor and reverence.

Our spirit is sacred and so are we.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

Every morning we wake up with the awareness that we are connected to source energy.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are grateful that we are one with life,

One with love,

One with joy,

One with peace.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are living and moving and having our beingness in the divine.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

We respect and honor the soul.

Our salutation is a gift to our higher self.

We are connected by the light.

We are connected by the light.

Each and every breath brings us to a deeper awareness of our light connection.

Our soul salutation is devotion to the practice of awakening.

We are disciples of the light.

So I invite you just to begin to breathe a little deeper.

Maybe we wiggle the fingers around.

We move our heads side to side.

We slowly begin to open up our eyes.

We take note to the room that we're in.

And we say thank you.

We say thank you to our soul.

We say thank you for this time spent in remembering.
