Many of us don't sleep well because some discomfort in our physical body or in our mind troubles us. Hence, it becomes essential to first remove that discomfort which might be in the form of stress, disease or physical pain. In this meditation, Saqib will guide you through a Healing Journey that is based on Reiki and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Eventually, you will enter the world of Quality Deep Sleep.

A very warm welcome to this meditation.

I am your guide Saqib and I will guide you through a journey of healing which will eventually take us into a world of deep relaxation and sleep.

Healing is a process through which we remove all discomforts from our bodies.

Many of us don't experience quality sleep because our mind and body are in a state of stress,

Anxiety,

Depression or pain.

This is the reason that before experiencing quality and deep sleep,

You will first heal your own mind and body and remove all discomforts.

And before we get started,

I want to tell you that I love you.

I believe that because we have met for this meditation,

There is an energetic connection between us.

Also,

Know that the universe also loves you and we will use this energy of the universe to heal ourselves and experience quality deep sleep.

So now I would request you to lie down.

Just make sure that your back is not bent but relaxed at the same time.

Keep your eyes open for now.

I will prompt you to close them soon.

Check if you can shift your body into a slightly more relaxed posture.

Now just be aware of your external surroundings.

Notice the space that you are in.

Feel the weight of your body.

Feel the air on your skin.

Feel the smell in the air.

And listen to the sounds around you.

Notice what is there in your line of sight.

Is it the roof or a wall?

Even the entire roof or wall or whatever is there in your line of sight.

If it is too dark and you can't see anything,

Just gaze into the darkness.

And now bring your focus to a single point on the roof,

The wall or any single point in the darkness in the line of your sight.

And just gaze at this point for some time.

Let your gaze be a soft case.

Don't strain your eyes.

Now gradually close your eyes.

Let's together set our sankalpa or intention for having quality sleep.

I will say the words of sankalpa and either you can repeat after me in your heart or just listen to my words.

It's up to you.

I give deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

I give deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

I give deep rest and relaxation to my mind and my body.

Now let's do a quick body scan to find out what is the area of the body that requires healing.

So place your awareness on your head and check if there is any stress or discomfort in your head.

Now place your awareness on your face and check if there is any discomfort in your face.

Place your awareness on your neck and check if there is any discomfort in your neck.

Place your awareness now on your shoulders and check if there is any discomfort in your shoulders.

Place your awareness on your arms and hands.

Check if there is any discomfort in your arms and hands.

Place your awareness on your chest and check if there is any discomfort in your chest.

Place your awareness on your abdomen and check if there is any discomfort in your abdomen.

Place your awareness now on your pelvis and check for any discomfort there.

Now check for any discomfort in your thighs,

In your knees,

In your calves.

And check for any discomfort in your feet.

Now that the body scan is complete,

You must have found out the area of your body that had most discomfort,

Stress or pain.

It might also be your mind that requires healing.

We will now heal that part of your body.

So imagine and visualize that there are beams of golden white light that are coming from the sky above and reaching the top of your head from where they are entering your body.

These beams are now moving down your face.

They are now moving down your neck where they are dividing into two to enter your shoulders,

Down your arms and into your hands.

The beams of the golden white healing light are now flowing out of your hands and now your hands are ready to heal that part of your body.

So place your awareness now on that body part.

If it is your mind that requires healing,

Place your awareness on your head.

Now imagine and visualize that there is a black ball of energy in that part of your body.

This ball is what is causing the discomfort.

If that area of discomfort is in the upper part of your body,

That is,

Above your pelvis,

Then place your hands on that part of your body and pluck out that ball of energy and throw it away.

What if the discomfort is in your legs or feet?

Then you can just imagine and visualize that you are plucking out the black ball and throwing it away.

Go ahead and do that.

And now that you have taken away discomfort from that part of your body,

Place your hands on that part again if it is in your upper body.

And now let those beams of golden light get transferred from your hands to that part and imagine that area of your body filling with golden white healing light.

Again,

If that area is in your legs or feet,

You just have to imagine that your hands are transferring healing light to that part of your body.

Go ahead and do that.

Now let's remember the sankalpa or intention that we made at the beginning of this meditation.

We will transform our sankalpa into manifestation by visualizing it.

Visualize yourself in your imagination that you are sleeping deeply with full rest and relaxation.

See that there is peace within you.

There is a faint smile on your face while you are sleeping.

The smile is due to the deep relaxation that your mind and body has achieved.

Feel that peace and relaxation in your mind and the whole body.

And now let's be thankful to the universe for protecting us.

I will be saying the words of gratitude three times and you can just silently listen to my words.

I thank you universe for protecting me with your healing light,

Keeping me safe and healthy and providing me quality and deep sleep.

I thank you universe for protecting me with your healing light,

Keeping me safe and healthy and providing me quality and deep sleep.

I thank you universe for protecting me with your healing light,

Keeping me safe and healthy and providing me quality and deep sleep.

Now we will do a light path to heal our entire body and mind at once.

So again imagine that beams of golden white healing light are coming from above and reaching the top of your head.

This light has now entered your head as it is filling it and it is relaxing your head.

The beams are now going down your face and they are relaxing your face.

Down your neck and your neck is getting relaxed.

Down your shoulders where they are dividing and getting into your arms and chest.

And they are relaxing your arms and chest.

They are entering your abdomen and hands and they are relaxing your abdomen and hands.

The beams are going down your pelvis and are relaxing your pelvis and hips.

They are entering your thighs and are relaxing your thighs.

The beams are now entering your knees and are relaxing your knees.

And they are moving down your calves and are relaxing your calves.

And the beams of white golden healing light have now entered your feet and are relaxing your feet.

Now check if there are any thoughts in your mind right now.

Imagine these thoughts as bubbles,

Like soap bubbles,

Floating in front of you with each thought representing one bubble.

In your imagination,

Pop these bubbles one by one with a slight touch of your finger,

Just in your imagination.

And now your mind is absolutely clear.

The gateway to the world of sleep is through the heart.

So now we will make our awareness journey from your mind to our heart and into a place of silence and stillness where you will rest,

Relax and sleep deeply.

For this,

We will move our awareness from the mind to the throat,

To the heart and into that place of silence and stillness.

So bring your awareness now at the centre of your forehead.

Gradually move your awareness downwards and place your awareness at your throat and the centre of your neck.

And now move your awareness further downwards and place it at the centre of your chest.

From here we will journey into a place of silence,

A place of stillness,

A place of pure being.

This place is deep within us.

Descend down to that place as I guide you.

I will be counting back from 10 to 1 and as I do so,

With each count,

Imagine and feel as if you are descending one step into that place of silence and stillness and finally into the place of deep sleep.

Once you reach that place of pure being,

Just relax there by simply listening to the music in the background for some time as you go deeper and deeper into the world of sleep.

Rest in that state of pure awareness.

Let's begin.
