A Prayer For Wisdom

As we stand here together, looking at the world in the early part of this 21st century, more than ever we need wisdom to guide us and to light our way. This meditation is a prayer to Wisdom, known as Sophia in ancient scripture, to call her into our lives, to animate our hearts, our minds and our wills with the lush desire for aliveness and connection and possibility in this time which needs her guidance and presence more than perhaps any other.

Your sharing, and meditation was outstanding for me at this time, particularly as a question and ponder things unfolding in these latter years of my life. As unexpected events and financial challenges present themselves I always ask Holy Spirit. “What would you have me do”? And then I trust, wait and let Spirit guide me, yet at the same time I know these events call me to take action. I honor the idea of wisdom, and connecting with Sophia as an additional guidance , allowing me to let things unfold, yet taking responsible action at the same time. There is offered a Sophia circle at my church, and I think this is nudging me to look into what they are all about. Thank you and many warm blessings to you. 🙏
