I'd like you to begin by getting comfortable so that you can relax and rest,
Arranging your body in a way that it can feel ease.
So beginning by taking some generous breaths,
Breaths that feel good to you.
You might even inhale deeply and then exhale just a little further than is natural.
So stretching your inhale and really stretching your exhale.
Turning all of your attention toward your breath,
The generosity of your breath,
The graciousness of your breath.
And with every breath bringing kindness,
Bringing curiosity,
Being curious as to how gracious you can be with yourself because graciousness begins with you,
You being gracious with yourself.
And it doesn't matter if these words make sense to your mind.
I'm speaking to a part of you that is deeper in the conscious mind.
So just allowing yourself to drop in and down,
Allowing yourself to drop in and down.
That's right.
Sinking in in a way that is expansive.
Allowing the physical body to settle and rest.
And as it does,
The mind can settle and rest.
Inviting yourself to be generous with yourself,
To be gracious with yourself,
Which means that if any part of you is uncomfortable,
You can just gently shift your position and continue to drop down and down.
And I'd like you to imagine yourself,
To sense yourself in a moment.
In a moment in your life where you have the opportunity to be gracious,
To invite others into your home or into your heart.
There's a graciousness of being open and welcoming.
Welcoming love into your heart is one way of being gracious.
Much in the same way that we graciously share food that we've prepared.
Or perhaps when a friend forgets their lunch,
We share ours.
We are gracious and kind and generous.
And we have a little less and maybe we're even left with a belly that's a little bit hungry in service of being gracious,
Of being kind.
This is something that we can practice in our lives and just imagining what that feels like to extend that flavor of graciousness to yourself,
To another.
What does it feel like?
What's the physical experience?
What's the emotional experience?
What kind of energy do you experience?
Just sensing that or seeing yourself.
Seeing yourself.
Maybe you're smiling.
Maybe you're standing taller.
Maybe there are tears of joy.
Just trusting whatever is arising.
Trusting whatever is arising.
And listening,
Listening,
Listening to your own heart.
Feeling the graciousness of your own heart.
What a beautiful gift.
Such a beautiful gift.
So as you listen to this process,
You're cultivating graciousness,
Cultivating graciousness,
Laying tracks for future moments of being gracious and kind which begins with you practicing it from moment to moment.
Graciously receiving your breath.
Graciously generously stretching your arms when you wake up in the morning.
How do you walk with a gracious heart through the world?
How do you walk with a gracious and open heart through the world?
I leave you with this question and trust that graciousness will reveal itself.
The more that you are open,
The more that you say yes.
Graciousness is a yes to yourself,
A yes to others,
A yes to life,
A yes to love.
Be gracious,
Be kind,
Be loving.
Trust yourself,
Love yourself,
Love yourself,
Love yourself.
And when you awaken from this process,
You will feel refreshed,
Revitalized,
And nourished in every cell and fiber of your body and being.
So it is.
And so it is.
And so it is.
And so it is.
