Living as love means recognizing that love is who you are. Living as love means that as you move through your life—making decisions, contemplating, discovering—you can say to yourself: What would love do when faced with this decision? Living as love means you let love lead the way, for this is your nature. So, relax, let go and open your heart wider to the love that you already are. *Gratitude to Marina Raye for sharing her music track “Awakening Dream” from the album Liquid Silk.

This meditation is offered in service to living as love.

Living as love means recognizing that love is who you are.

Love is who you are.

So that as you move through your life,

Making decisions,

Contemplating,

Discovering,

You can say to yourself,

What would love do?

What would love do when faced with this challenging decision?

What would love do at this fork in the road?

What would love do?

So close your eyes,

Make yourself really comfortable,

For it is essential that your body is comfortable so that you can relax,

Let go,

And open your heart wider to the love that you already are.

Let your eyelids be heavy.

Let them be heavy.

And let the eyes rest into their sockets.

Breathe.

Breathe,

Sweet friend.

Breathe and let go.

Let the tension in your face soften.

Smile and let your jaw be easy,

Easy.

Let love lead the way.

Let love lead the way.

For this is your nature.

This is your nature.

So surrender.

Surrender your doing.

Enter any need to know,

Any vestiges of control.

And let yourself open to love,

Open to love.

Breathe and trust that it's safe to open your heart to receive more love.

Because it can be so easy to move through life on the defensive or maybe on the attack.

This current of mistrust moving through you.

And what if you set that aside for right now,

Dear friend?

Set it aside.

And maybe you want to think of a moment,

A situation where you were challenged,

Where you fell into reaction because we humans fall into reaction.

It happens.

Be forgiving.

Be kind.

And summon up that situation.

And perhaps you can replay it.

And when you get to that point where you were just about to be on the offense or on defense,

You pause.

You pause,

You invoke the magic of the pause.

And you ask yourself,

What would love do?

What would love do?

And you patiently wait for the answer.

For a new response.

A response based in knowing who you are.

That you are love itself.

You always have been.

And you always will be.

And notice how that situation may take a new turn.

Moving you toward harmony,

Connection,

Flow.

So,

Sweet friends,

This is the possibility.

In any moment.

You can pause,

Interrupting cycles of reactivity,

Contraction,

Aggression.

Ask yourself,

What would love do?

What would love do right now?

And then open.

Fling.

The trap doors of your mind and heart wide open.

Wide open.

And allow love's response to come in.

Notice how it feels.

To respond as love.

How does it feel right now?

To sense yourself as love.

Trusting love is infinitely intelligent.

Yes,

Love is infinitely intelligent and you,

My friend,

Are not separate from love.

Take a moment and let that sink in.

Trust it for yourself.

Sense whether this is true for you.

And then breathing.

Breathing to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Take a moment and say thank you.

Thank you to yourself.

Thank you to your heart.

Thank you to love.

And you are invited to pause throughout this day and the coming days in moments where you're challenged or moments where you simply do not know what to do,

Which way to go.

And ask yourself,

What would love do?

What would love do?

What would love do?

And listen for the answer.

I promise you it will come.

Thank you.

I love all of Padma's meditations and am always recommending her to fellow travellers. She speaks so eloquently from her heart, it's a real gift. Nothing feels to be scripted as she really talks to you in a loving, caring manner. The background music works really well also. Thank you for sharing your gift. God bless
