So I'd like to begin by inviting you to get really comfortable.
You can sit with a long spine or you can lie down.
The most important thing is that you take care of yourself.
You take care of your body.
Because this is your time.
This is your time.
It is a time for you to breathe,
Rest,
And relax.
It is a time for rejuvenation.
So,
Once you're comfortable making any adjustments that you need,
I invite you to take a nice,
Gentle breath.
And breathing once again,
Feeling how the air is touching you on the inside and how your chest cavity rises and falls,
Rises and falls.
And as you breathe,
Perhaps you can notice how you're supported from underneath.
Wherever you're sitting or resting is supporting you.
So even though you may be experiencing waves of emotion at calm and go,
Challenges on the inside,
Challenges on the outside,
You can make room for all of it by breathing.
And right now,
There's nothing to do except notice your breath.
I'm here with you,
Holding the space.
Holding the space and being steady.
Just as your breath is steady.
And I want you to know that you are not alone.
We are all here,
Breathing together,
Simply and naturally.
And with each breath,
You might notice that the body is beginning to let go,
To soften and release.
That's right.
You're doing really well.
You're guiding your mind to notice your breath.
And as you do,
Perhaps you begin to settle and your attention can drop down and down,
Down and down,
So that you can rest,
Finding a place of pause,
A place to take refuge from all of the media,
All of the tasks,
All of your concerns,
Just for right now,
Take refuge in this moment,
In this breath.
Every breath is sacred.
Every breath is a gift.
And we are here,
Breathing together now,
Relaxing,
Quieting,
Settling.
And if your mind wants to wander,
You can just gently escort it back to this breath.
And you are invited to pause and rest,
Breath by breath,
In the spaces between my words.
Feeling how good it can feel to pause,
To take some time to receive your breath,
Receive your breath.
And it doesn't matter if your breath is deep or shallow.
Just noticing,
Allowing it to be as it is,
Allowing yourself to be as you are.
That's right,
Just like that.
And you can breathe consciously any place,
Any time.
So if you feel yourself becoming upset,
Just take some nice,
Gentle breaths,
Nice,
Gentle breaths,
And notice how easy it is to create space,
To relax,
To return to yourself,
To a place of peace,
A place of peace.
Just letting yourself rest here for a few moments more.
I want to invite you to return to this guided meditation practice as often as you would like.
Let it nourish you,
Let it heal you,
Let it rejuvenate you.
Gently beginning to return,
Return,
Return,
Return.
