Are you so independent that asking for help is like total defeat? Learning how to ask for help can be so hard but so incredibly liberating! I recently experienced the nervousness & apprehension of being myself...my raw, 'I need help' self. And what I got in return was completely unexpected!

Namaste.

Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Alberts.

I'm honored that you're with me today,

With us,

Because we are collective.

We are all in this together.

So I am not one to ask for much.

I'm one of those really independent people,

Right?

I'm one of those people that it's like if there's any possible way of me doing it myself,

I will do it,

Right?

To the point where,

Oh my gosh,

I just remembered this.

I'm short,

Right?

And so of course I need to reach things,

Right?

And I just,

I hate asking my husband to get stuff for me.

I hate asking anybody to get anything for me,

Right?

So my friend gave me one of those,

Those cloth things,

Right?

You know,

So now I have a cloth thing,

So I don't have to ask anybody to get something down for me.

It's just so ridiculous.

However,

Yesterday,

Yesterday,

I really felt the urge and you know what?

I wasn't going to get into the whole story,

But Spirit is telling me to talk about this.

Yesterday on In the Flow,

I did a very special meditation and it was,

I read a prayer written by a Native American chief named Chief Yellow Hawk and it was really,

Really amazing.

Like it was amazing.

So Spirit was talking to me afterwards like saying,

You need to get this out there.

This,

This prayer needs to be heard.

This meditation needs to be,

Needs to be shared,

Right?

So I was like,

Okay,

What do I do?

So I,

I asked my friends to share it and I never do stuff like that.

I mean,

I'm just,

Not that that's like a good thing because you should always ask for help,

Right?

If you need help,

You should ask for it.

It's okay to ask for help,

Right?

So I asked for it and I'm like,

My palms are sweating even just talking about it because I just,

I'm so independent.

I like to do things on my own,

Right?

So,

But I have to tell you what happened and this is going to make me teary because I,

What happened was,

Was that the community that I asked to help to share this,

Shared it.

I asked several people to share it because I felt it was powerful and they shared it and the feelings that came with that,

First of all,

Is a feeling of acceptance,

Right?

It was a feeling of being heard.

I felt like I was,

I felt like I was heard.

That's huge.

I felt,

I felt worthy,

You know,

And these,

This is amazing.

So I just implore you all,

Don't be so independent that you don't need someone else's help.

Asking for someone's help is not a horrible thing.

I'm just so honored that my peeps,

My peeps came,

Came through and,

And,

And listened to me and asked and shared when I asked them to.

It's huge.

There was,

There was a freedom to that,

You know?

So that's what we are meditating on today.

My friends,

We are meditating on the freedom because I,

And maybe you guys have experienced this and I hope you have.

There was such a freedom and as such a higher vibration because,

Because people,

We were all,

It was like we were all in it together,

You know?

So we're going to meditate on freedom today.

Yeah.

So let's get ourselves comfortable,

Right?

So get yourself situated where you're comfy.

If you have your,

Your morning blankie or if you have whatever it is that makes you comfortable.

David G talks all the time about how comfort is queen,

Right?

So if you're comfortable when you're sitting and you're meditating,

You will probably come back and do it again.

So let's sit comfortably.

However that is,

You could be laying down,

You could be sitting cross leg,

Feet flat on the floor,

Whatever works.

Okay.

And put your hands,

Palms up.

Let your eyes float closed.

And let's take a nice long,

Deep,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Let that breath go through your whole body and release.

Very good.

Let's take another deep,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Not your mouth.

Really deep.

Letting your breath go the whole way through your body and release.

Perfect.

Very good.

As we get ready to sit in the silence and stillness today,

Do our meditation.

I'd like for us to consider three things that we are absolutely grateful for.

What are three things?

Just three that are in your life that you are absolutely thankful for,

Grateful for.

I am grateful for this community that is coming together here for each other.

Communities that I'm part of,

Communities that we are assembling,

Uplifting,

And love-filled.

I am grateful for my relationship with Archangel Michael and Archangel Raphael.

They are the ones that put everything together for me.

And I am thankful for this community.

I feel loved and I hope that you feel loved.

Our mantra today is one we've talked about before,

One we've used before.

Moksha.

Moksha means freedom.

But we're going to take that a step further today.

We are going to repeat over and over again,

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Now if you get distracted by sounds or other thoughts,

That's okay.

Just gently move them aside and come back to the mantra and focusing on your breath.

And I will keep the time for us.

And let's begin.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

And let's begin.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Moksha,

I am free.

Start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Let's take a nice deep breath in.

In through our nose,

Out our mouth.

Deep breath and release.

Awesome.

Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

Very good.

How do you feel?

I hope that your vibration has raised.

Has risen I guess I should say.

Today is going to be a great day because you are free.

Moksha.

I really really love every single one of you.

Thank you so much for joining today.

And I just really appreciate the community that we are building here.

So thanks for joining and until next time,

Tomorrow hopefully.

Namaste everybody.

Have a beautiful day.
