Namaste everybody.

Welcome to In The Flow with Lori Albert.

And so today it's a fresh start,

Right?

Today we're going to talk about new beginnings.

I have a beautiful prayer to read us during our meditation.

I'm super excited to share it with you guys.

But first I want to talk about something that is like kind of near and dear to me at this at this moment anyway.

Last week in our teacher webinar with David G,

He was talking about intentions and intention setting and I thought you know what?

I haven't set an intention lately.

I haven't done that and I thought wow that could be an amazing thing to to really just start off February with right?

And I thought to myself you know setting an intention is so important and I it's something that I haven't done really before.

Not that I've never set an intention before because I mean we all sort of have but I've always sort of lived my life like okay so spirit you know and this is so true right?

Spirit will take care of it you know but sometimes I think when we really want something more specific that intention setting can be even more important and right and let's couple that with manifesting.

So we set an intention and then we manifest it.

Let's do that you guys.

Oh my gosh I am so inspired by that.

What inspires you?

How is it that you know that we get to this place?

So yeah I'm like super excited about intention setting right?

And what does that mean exactly?

It can mean anything.

It could mean just a word.

Like for me I feel like it's and I had trouble you know thinking of this word like what is it what word do I want right?

Perseverance.

Perseverance.

Like I want to trudge forward.

I want to move ahead you know I mean that's just kind of where I've been at right?

I want to move forward and be just move forward right?

But it could be something more specific than that if you choose for it to be.

You know it's got to come from within.

It's got to come from right here.

What inspires you?

What do you want to create for your life?

Now is the time.

Now is the time.

Let's create.

Let's set that intention.

It could be just for a day.

It could be for a week.

It could be for a month.

It could be for a year.

Whatever you choose.

So I think that throughout this month let's create an intention every day.

It could be the same intention that you choose that you pick for yourself.

You can say it every single day and just continue to manifest it or it could be something just for that day.

Right?

And like I said it could be a goal.

It could be an intention.

It could be a word.

You know like I was saying perseverance feels right to me today.

Maybe it won't feel right for me tomorrow.

Maybe tomorrow it'll be something even different.

You know but what is the word?

What is it?

What is an intention that you can create for yourself today?

Right?

And then we're gonna meditate on that.

That's what I love.

Right?

I love and what's really cool is that I've got this great prayer that I'm gonna read and I'm super excited about it.

So let's get ourselves comfy because that's what we are going to do.

We're gonna meditate on this.

We're gonna manifest.

We're gonna manifest our lives.

That's what our goal.

That's what we're creating for this month,

This year,

This lifetime,

Whatever.

Do you know what I'm saying?

So we're gonna create.

We're gonna manifest.

Exciting.

Right?

Okay.

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

I'll talk us through this so don't worry about it.

No worries.

So let's um get ourselves comfortable.

Close your eyes whenever you feel like it's the right moment because we want to feel like that we are being and doing what we are supposed to do.

Right?

Okay.

So let's start to relax.

Let's take a deep breath in.

Oh fill your lungs and release it.

Oh boy does that feel good.

Doesn't it feel right?

It feels so good to just take that deep breath in.

We're so used to just breathing and then when you take an absolute deep breath it becomes like part of you.

Like the air becomes part of you.

How beautiful right?

So as we get ready to sit in the silence and stillness let's first ask ourselves what is it that we are grateful for today?

What are you absolutely grateful for?

What is going well in your life that you can feel the gratitude for?

It could be your family.

It could be your health.

Such an important thing to be grateful for right today.

It could be that you are thriving.

You're thriving.

And now that we're in that state of gratitude which is so important right?

Let's consider setting our intention.

What is your intention for today?

What's an intention you can create for yourself that you know you can manifest?

There's so much that we can create for ourselves.

There's emotions that we can create for ourselves.

There's physical things that we can create for ourselves.

There's spirituality that we can create for ourselves.

And as we consider our intention for the day I want to read to you a Lakota Native American prayer that I absolutely love.

Wacom Tanka which means Great Spirit.

And after we after I read this prayer we'll sit in the silence and stillness and just be our intention.

Great Spirit teach me how to trust my heart.

Teach me how to trust my mind.

Teach me how to trust my intuition.

Teach me how to trust my inner knowing.

The senses of my body.

The blessings of my spirit.

Teach me to trust these things so that I may enter my sacred space and love beyond my fear and thus walk in balance with the passing of each glorious day.

So so so so so so so so so let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Start feeling the chair where we're sitting.

The room we're sitting in.

Let's take a nice deep breath in to seal our intentions for the day.

And hold it and release.

Whenever you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.

So how do you feel?

Do you feel like you have an intention?

I know I do and it brings me joy.

I feel so much joy.

Do you guys feel that joy?

Oh my gosh.

Because it feels right and we can manifest this.

Remember how you feel.

Remember how you feel right now.

And move along with that.

Go through your day feeling that joy and that is how we will manifest it.

So thank you so much for joining today.
