Today everybody,

Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert.

We are complex beings,

Don't you think?

We are complex beings.

Yes we are.

Just this morning,

The Dalai Lama posted on Facebook,

This is his quote what he posted,

Children don't care about superficial differences like nationality,

Faith or race,

But once they go to school,

They begin to respond to such differences in terms of us and them.

The reality is that today we are all part of one great human family and we need to have a keener sense of the oneness of humanity.

We are all the same in being human.

We need to maintain that natural openness we observe in younger children.

That's the Dalai Lama.

He is so tuned into the beauty of life,

Isn't he?

So tuned into that.

I wanted to talk about this today because I'm just,

And I have to say,

I am a work in progress.

I am not perfect.

However,

I will say that I don't know about you guys,

But I get,

I'm just tired of the anger and the sadness and anxiety that is out there.

I'm just,

I'm tired of it.

Are you tired of it?

It's so commonplace.

So today,

And I've said stuff like this before,

But you know what?

Today it feels right.

It feels like,

You know,

Spirit actually very much impressed this upon me today.

Let's create a ripple,

A wave of love.

What would that be like for you to do?

Just approach everything that you do with love.

You see somebody on the street,

You smile at them.

They can tell when you're smiling under your mask,

You know?

Or just say something nice and just make the,

Make the promise to yourself that you're going to approach everything.

If you create the intention of doing everything out of that space of love,

You will,

You will create love.

It will be a creation for you and it will create that ripple of love because it starts with us.

So if you create that,

That space of love and then someone else,

You give that love to someone else,

Then they create it knowingly or unknowingly.

The definition of,

Of namaste.

This is why I love saying namaste because the definition of namaste is the divine in me honors the divine in you.

Isn't that what we need right now?

I really feel like that that is truly what we need right now.

We need namaste.

We do.

So today I choose love.

Today I choose namaste.

I am a work in progress.

Yep.

I,

I post on Facebook.

Yep.

You know,

I,

And I think things that,

That are not necessarily in the space of love.

I'm not saying I'm,

You know,

Want,

You know,

Horrible things to happen.

It's not like that.

But you know,

Sometimes I get angry.

I get dissatisfied and disheartened.

We all do.

That's part of being human,

Right?

But today I choose love.

Today I choose love in the world.

So we are going to meditate on this,

Right?

Okay,

So let's get ourselves comfortable.

Let's get ourselves comfortable.

Sitting,

Lying down,

Whatever works for you.

Close your eyes.

Let's get ourselves in that place where we can just be for just a few short minutes.

This is our morning gift to ourselves.

Just being for those few short minutes.

So let's take a nice deep breath in and release.

Beautiful.

You can feel the love starting,

Right?

Starting to ripple through you,

Through yourselves.

What are you grateful for today?

What are you grateful for?

What is so,

What is something beautiful in your life?

What is something so beautiful in your life that it causes you to tear up?

Are you amazed by your family?

Are you amazed by a friend?

What are you grateful for?

I am grateful,

So very grateful that the smoke in my area has started to dissipate a bit.

Smoke from the fires I'm speaking of.

You know what else I'm grateful for?

I am grateful for music.

Music has the ability to connect us and evoke all sorts of really beautiful emotions.

I'm so grateful for music today.

What are you grateful for?

So today's mantra,

The Sanskrit,

Well it's from the Sanskrit word priya and it's payar.

Payar means love in Sanskrit and Hindi.

Payar,

Love.

If that word doesn't quite roll off your tongue or even in your head,

You can always use the term I choose love today.

I choose love.

Payar.

Payar.

Love.

Let's focus on our heart chakra.

You can put your hand over your heart to sort of enhance that energy because our palms give and receive a lot of energy.

So with your hand over your heart,

I choose love.

I will keep the time and we can begin.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

I choose love.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.

Maybe say the mantra one last time.

I choose love.

Payar.

Let's take a deep breath in and release.

Whenever you feel comfortable,

You can open your eyes and know that there is a collective of people today that are choosing love just like we just did.

Beautiful.

So,

I want to thank you all for joining me today and I wish you all the love.

I wish you to choose love in everything that you do today.

Be the ripple that becomes the wave.

Until next time,

Everybody,

Namaste.
