Namaste everybody.
Welcome to In The Flow with Laurie Albert.
How awake are you in your life?
Would you say that you're awake?
Do you go through each day with childlike enthusiasm?
I don't know where that came from,
Right?
Do you go through your day?
How do you go through your day?
Do you move along slowly?
Are you astonished by everything that's happening to you in your life?
I don't know.
Sometimes I do.
Sometimes I don't.
You know,
Some days I'm like that childlike enthusiasm for life,
Right?
And then sometimes I'm just like,
Okay,
Get me through the day.
But what if we played full out?
What if we played full out?
What does that look like to you?
Playing full out,
Does that mean,
To some people,
And for me this is huge,
If I just said yes to everything?
Anything that comes my way,
I say yes to.
Any question?
Do you want to go do this?
Yes.
You know,
Or does it mean just taking that simple first step in something?
Wake up in our lives.
So there's this Buddhist prayer that I found and I wanted to share it with you guys.
With every breath I take,
I vow to be awake.
And every step I take,
I vow to take with a grateful heart.
So I may see with eyes of love into the hearts of all I meet.
To ease their burden when I can and touch them with a smile of peace.
Isn't that beautiful?
Absolutely beautiful.
So I don't know.
I don't know whether,
I don't know where we're at astrologically.
I really don't.
I do know that Mercury is getting ready to go direct again.
So I know that things are,
I'm not obviously,
Like I don't know that much about astrology and stuff,
But I do know that around this time,
Because we're getting ready to go direct again,
That things are gonna start amping up and getting kind of a little bit crazy out there,
Right?
And what happens to me in this,
In this particular time,
Is I start to get antsy.
I start to get antsy and like,
Come on,
I want to,
I want to do,
I want to go,
I want to,
And it's like I'm waking up.
And that's why I wanted to talk about this today,
Because it's like I'm waking up.
Let's get moving on in our lives.
You know,
If this last year has taught us anything,
I think personally,
For me,
That it's been about waking up each day and appreciating it,
You know,
And just living my best life,
Playing full out.
What does your best life look like to you?
What does it look like to you?
I mean,
Does it mean pulling yourself out of bed because the depression has set in?
What,
What does living your best life look like to you?
Lots of stuff.
I mean,
It could mean anything.
It could mean,
It could mean anything.
It could mean making that phone call that you've been avoiding.
It could mean anything,
Right?
So,
Really interesting,
Right?
Let's wake up in our lives.
We have the power.
We can do whatever we choose with our lives.
How does that sit with you whenever I say that?
How does that sit?
You can do whatever you want with your life.
Your life is yours.
You know,
That can be a really uncomfortable place to be,
Right?
It can be a really uncomfortable place.
When I say that,
I almost cringe,
Right?
I can do whatever I choose in my life.
And then immediately my head goes to,
No I can't.
I have responsibilities.
I have this.
I have that.
But what if it,
What if that was true?
What if we could do whatever we chose in our lives?
What does that mean?
What does that look like to you?
I just find it really,
I find it really interesting that all of the stuff that I talk about,
Becoming awake in our lives,
Playing full-out,
All that stuff,
It leads back to gratitude.
For me anyway.
It leads back to gratitude.
And that is my playing full-out.
As long as I continue feeling in that grateful place,
I am grateful for that.
And it leads me to,
That's where my like one step in front of another,
The other,
Is that the right way to say it?
That one step in front of the other,
Right?
So today our mantra is very simple.
Well,
Before I tell you that,
Let's get ourselves comfortable and get your pillow,
Get your blankie.
Yes,
I know so many of my friends are snowed in,
So get your blankie for goodness sake.
Sorry to say,
But I'm in Los Angeles and there's no need for blankies here.
Not,
Not this time.
I think that's why I moved here.
No need for blankies.
All right,
Anyway,
So get yourself comfortable.
Let's start to relax our bodies.
Close your eyes.
Relax.
Let's take a nice deep breath in.
And let it go.
Nothing like that first deep breath of the day,
Right?
In fact,
Let's do that again.
Let's breathe in really slow and deep.
And release it.
Beautiful.
So what are you feeling grateful for today?
What are you feeling really appreciative of?
In that all roads lead back to gratitude,
Train of thought.
What are you grateful for?
What is going well in your life?
And that's where we meet today's mantra.
Today's mantra is simply,
Thank you.
And that's always,
That's my go-to mantra because it's simple and it's easy and it's a place of higher vibration.
So when in doubt,
If you are meditating on your own,
Going back to the place of gratitude.
It lifts us up.
It lifts our vibration.
So as we sit in this silence and stillness today,
This beautiful day,
We say thank you.
Thank you Mother Earth.
Thank you Father Sky.
Thank you to the Ascended Masters.
Thank you to God,
Universe,
Spirit.
Thank you to ourselves.
As we sit in the silence for just a few minutes,
Let's continue with our mantra,
Thank you.
I will keep the time.
Let's begin.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
We can start bringing our awareness back to our bodies.
Let's take a deep breath in and release it.
Whenever you feel comfortable,
You can open your eyes.
So today,
Let's wake up,
Live our best lives,
And live in that place of gratitude.
Great.
Very good today.
Oh my gosh.
I could have kept going for another hour.
So thank you for joining again.
I appreciate you all so,
So much.
And from my heart to yours,
Namaste.
Thank you for joining.
