Namaste.

Hello and welcome to In The Flow with Lily Albert.

I hope everybody's feeling well today.

And I have,

You know,

There's always a story to tell you guys.

This is my life,

Right?

There's always a story to tell.

I have a great story.

So I've been really thinking overwhelmingly lately about our planet's need to heal and our need to heal within.

Lots to say about that,

Right?

So I was thinking last night,

Whenever I think about healing,

I think about the Native Americans.

They just have such a beautiful way of praying and asking Mother Earth and Father Sky for healing and for energy and for help and all of that stuff,

Right?

So I found,

This is amazing,

Right?

So I found this poem that I absolutely love,

Right?

By Chief Yellow Hawk,

Okay?

And he is,

Or he was,

He lived in like the early to mid 1800s.

And he was around at the time that the treaties were being signed,

You know,

Before the Dakotas.

So he is a Cheyenne River Sioux chief,

Okay?

I hope I got that right.

And you know,

Honestly,

I really love the Native American culture.

And,

You know,

Whenever I did ancestry,

I did that DNA test a few years ago.

And I was so hoping that there'd be at least a little bit of Native American blood in there,

But there wasn't.

But I must have been maybe something in another life.

But anyway,

I've always been enthralled and interested in the Native American culture,

Right?

So anyway,

So I have the special affinity towards the Native American culture and all that.

So Chief Yellow Hawk wrote this poem and that I'm going to read as our meditation today.

It's amazing,

Right?

So I'm sitting there praying and all of a sudden I started talking to him and he came in.

He came through and it was amazing because all of a sudden,

You know,

I do all of my spirit work in what I call my spirit room in my house.

I have,

It's very few people walk in here,

Right?

And it's,

It's like I've built the energy in here to be one of spirit,

Right?

So when the energy changes,

I'm very aware,

Right?

There was such a big energy when Chief Yellow Hawk came in.

It was like this big,

Huge energy.

And it was so,

I just was honored,

First of all,

That he would come through.

And I just,

And now that I'm talking about him,

He's back and I don't know if you guys can feel the over the waves here,

The energy shift.

Oh,

It's just amazing.

And he is,

He is a very wise man,

Obviously.

I mean,

To be chief,

I guess you would have to be,

But very wise man.

And he's appreciative.

I feel like he's appreciative that these stories keep getting told and that his poem would keep getting told.

You know,

Because I just keep thinking about the healing of our planet and our healing,

Our inner healing.

And he's all about that.

So that's what we're going to do today.

I'm going to lead us,

It's sort of a guided meditation,

But I'm going to read his poem,

Which,

You know,

I just tend to get a little,

What is the word,

Perklempt?

Perklempt?

So I'll try not to cry while we're doing it.

You know,

It's interesting because I feel like that Chief Yellowhawk is very,

He's sensitive,

Yet strong and powerful.

And I think that's why I was drawn to him and to this poem.

So thank you,

Chief Yellowhawk for this lesson in life.

Oh,

Here I go,

Right?

Here I go getting all weepy,

Right?

Yeah,

I just,

I'm so appreciative.

So appreciative.

You guys know that,

Obviously,

That I'm a medium and so,

And I'm an empath and I'm a clairsentient,

Actually.

So I feel this energy really,

Really strongly.

So anyway,

So let's get ourselves comfortable and get ready to experience this amazing poem by Chief Yellowhawk.

So,

Okay,

So get yourself,

Get your blankie.

I brought my blanket today.

I've got my blankie all situated here.

And get yourself comfortable.

Get yourself comfortable and whenever you feel comfortable,

You can close your eyes.

And as I say,

Sometimes maybe on your lap or on the side of your hands,

If you're laying down,

Leave your palms up because our palms are where the energy comes into our hands.

So if you leave your palms up,

You might be able to feel this amazing energy a little bit easier,

Okay?

So as we start to calm our bodies down,

To get ready for meditation,

I want us to place our attention in our heart chakra.

It's right over your heart.

And I want us to imagine a really beautiful green emanating from our heart chakra.

And I want us to fill up the room that we are in with that amazing green.

Imagine your room filled up with that beautiful healing,

Heart healing green color.

And now I want you to imagine that green color,

That heart,

That healing heart energy going throughout your house,

All through your house.

And now your neighborhood,

To all the houses in your neighborhood.

Imagine that healing green going to all emanating from you,

Going to all the houses in your neighborhood.

And your city.

Imagine that beautiful healing green going all throughout your city.

And your state.

And your country.

And your continent.

And finally the world.

And if you feel like you should,

You can place your hand on your heart.

And you can just listen as I read this beautiful poem from Chief Yellowhawk.

O Great Spirit,

Whose voice I hear in the winds,

And whose breath gives life to all the world,

Hear me.

I come before you,

One of your children.

I am small and weak.

I need your strength and wisdom.

Let me walk in beauty and make my eyes ever behold the red and purple sunset.

Make my hands respect the things you have made.

My ears sharp to hear your voice.

Make me wise so that I may know the things you have taught my people.

The lessons you have hidden in every leaf and rock.

I seek strength not to be superior to my brothers,

But to be able to fight my greatest enemy,

Myself.

Make me ever ready to come to you with clean hands and straight eyes so that when life fades as a fading sunset,

My spirit may come to you without shame.

At this point,

Let us all concentrate on our breath and feel this amazing healing energy from Chief Yellowhawk.

O Great Spirit,

Whose voice I hear in the winds,

And whose breath gives life to all men and just men.
