Welcome to today's meditation.

Today we are going to find a place deep within us where we can find pure clarity.

We are going to visit the reflection pool of clarity.

So let's begin by getting comfortable.

The first part of this meditation will be allowing your body and mind to relax and so finding a space that is comfortable either lying down or sitting down and just giving your shoulders a little shake,

Giving your neck a stretch,

Adjusting yourself as necessary so that you can have the most relaxed body and mind possible.

And when you are comfortable bring your attention to your breathing.

One of the best tools for focus is breathing and so we will begin by breathing and being very focused with our breath.

Paying attention to the rise and fall of your chest and noticing how your body feels as you breathe in.

Letting your mind follow the process of the breath as it enters through the nose.

Considering the process of breathing,

How our body responds to the oxygen,

How it is received in our cells,

How it brings us life and then noticing on the outbreath how your body lets go.

And so for the remainder of the meditation we'll intend that as you breathe in you allow your body to relax and soften and as you breathe out you allow your body to release and let go and create space.

Let's continue breathing deeply in this way,

Becoming aware as you breathe with more focus and awareness how it slows down,

How it allows your mind to slow down and your body to slow down.

Giving our mind the task of focusing on the breath,

Distracts it from the many thoughts that might be crowding your mind and we will now intend that as we breathe in that those thoughts that busyness that confusion that overwhelm becomes more distant as we turn our awareness inwards on our inner workings on our inner landscape rather than our external landscape.

Taking our focus inward by scanning the body,

By noticing whether you need to adjust to become more comfortable,

By noticing any stiffness or tension in your body.

Do you need to relax your jaw or the muscles around your eyes?

Continue to breathe with the intention of allowing your body to soften and relax and as you exhale let go any tension any stress that your body is holding.

Moving your awareness further down now to your neck and shoulders and allow the tension to be released on the out breath.

Letting go of the responsibility that you're carrying on your shoulders just for these few moments.

Letting go on the out breath and breathing in and following the focus of the breath down into your chest.

Are your shoulders rising as you breathe?

Does it feel hard to breathe?

Do you feel like you're holding your breath?

Perhaps you're not even conscious of this.

Beware now,

Can you breathe deep into your belly or is it trapped in the upper chest?

And if it is give your body permission to relax,

To open the chest and allow more air in and just breathe in deeply now.

And once again on the out breath release any tension,

Reprogramming our mind that it's safe to relax.

It's safe to switch off the hyper vigilance.

It's safe to let go of the constant mind shatter and we go deeper now into the body observing any tension around the upper abdomen,

Solar plexus.

If we carry anxiety we often feel it in the solar plexus.

Just sending this nurturing breath to that area of your body if you're feeling tight and give your body permission to relax those muscles around the upper abdomen.

You may even wish to place your hands on that part of your body.

Drifting your awareness further now down in deep into the belly,

Observe whether your breath is now dropping deeper into your body,

Watching the rise and fall of your belly.

On the full breath see it expand and with a big exhale feel your body contract and release the air,

Releasing tension,

Releasing toxins,

Releasing stale energy,

Letting go.

And the magic of the out breath is as we let go any tension,

Stress,

Old energy,

We create space for new,

The new you,

New possibilities.

Just as we declutter our home,

Our kitchen,

Our cupboards,

This is the same thing,

Releasing,

Decluttering and creating new space.

Continue down now into the hip area and just be aware of any tension around the lower back and the hips.

Let your body consciously sink into the bed or the chair or the floor and let your hips drop and as you notice your hips dropping and opening you may notice that the tension in your back is released.

You may also notice that your thighs have permission to relax as you open and drop your hips.

Your thighs may even drop open a little bit and this gives permission for our knees to relax and then we go deeper down into the calves,

The ankles,

Letting your ankles relax,

You may even want to stretch them and on the exhale just give that permission to your body to let go and relax and now we come to our feet.

Just be aware of your feet and your toes and perhaps your feet would like to just flop open to adjust,

To move.

Are you feeling your heels on the floor?

Perhaps if you're lying down your feet would like to just flop open and relax and now that we have created permission for our body to become still you may observe that your mind is quieter or more distant.

We're going to go deeper within as though we're diving beneath the ocean and when we dive beneath the water the outside world disappears,

The sound is muffled,

The distractions feel far away.

We're going deeper now,

Deep into the inner you,

Into the core of you,

Beyond all the distractions,

Beyond even feelings,

Into the steep deep reservoir of silence and stillness and peace.

Imagining now that you can drop easily into this space and we're going to go on a journey now to a very pure place.

In your mind's eye use your imagination to think of a place in nature that is very untouched,

Pure,

Where the air is crisp and clean and pure,

Allowing yourself to imagine a place or if you have a memory of a place you have seen or visited.

I went to Tasmania recently and there on the Gordon River the water was still and the air in this part of the world is said to be some of the most purest air that exists.

So take yourself there now to a beautiful space and as we've let our body and mind relax we've created room for our creative body to emerge.

Breathing in the pure clean crisp air of this beautiful sacred place that you have found,

Breathing it in and allowing this pure air to flow through your mind dissolving and disintegrating any thoughts that are superfluous,

Junk thoughts,

Unnecessary thoughts,

Chaotic thoughts that don't serve you and that are just taking up room.

Let them be dissolved by this beautiful crisp air now and as you breathe out you let go of any toxic thoughts,

Toxic energy,

Stale energy and as you breathe it out this air is so pure and clean and refreshing that any negativity is instantly transmuted and transformed and so nature receives what we release as nourishment.

So do not be afraid of letting go in this pure clean place,

It is a magical place where nature works so efficiently.

Continue to breathe in this beautiful clean air and feel it flow through your body,

Nourishing your body,

Cleansing your body,

Clearing your body of any patterns or beliefs that are causing you to struggle in your life,

Causing chaos when you need to make decisions,

Causing a feeling of stuckness,

Procrastination,

Sabotage,

Breathing in and allowing all of that to be washed away.

All of this is on the surface and deep beneath the surface is the pure,

Wise,

Connected you,

Connected to your wisdom,

Your intuition and as this clean beautiful fresh air completes its process of cleansing you feel refreshed,

Recharged,

Clear of mind and open in your spirit and you find a place to sit.

You may want to sit near a beautiful pool of water.

On my trip to Tasmania the water was so still that you could see the trees reflected there,

Perfect mirror image.

There is a pool like this for you,

This is your sacred place,

Your place to commune with you and your inner world,

Your inner wisdom.

Look down now into the water,

You can see your image reflected,

You can see the pure true essence of you,

Your thoughts,

You can see your wisdom,

You can see your beauty,

You can see your passion,

Your desires.

Look deeply now and notice that this place you're sitting in seems to have natural walls or natural boundaries and as you sit here only those things that are for your highest good that are pure and resonate and are in alignment can enter.

It is though anything that is superfluous or unnecessary can come towards you but it just bounces away and only those things that you really need to attend to come closer to you into this pool of reflection.

Observe now what it is that you deeply need to gain clarity on.

Are you wanting your next steps in your business or your career?

Do you have a decision to make,

A choice to make?

If you are making a choice,

See those choices here in this space,

Bring them to mind,

Bring them into this space and then allow those possibilities that you haven't even thought of to arise.

You are now in the field of possibilities beyond your comfort zone,

Beyond your known zone and into your zone of genius.

Sit with the possibilities now and allow your body,

Your intuition to guide you in which choice feels more aligned.

Within this pure space only those things that are of your highest alignment are able to stay.

Try those choices on for size.

How does it feel?

Does it ignite your spirit?

Does it bring joy?

Sit for a while and contemplate.

Allow the pleasure of stillness and quiet to be your companion.

There is no rush here.

This place is yours to visit again and again.

You may come here to create your intentions,

To set your intentions every day or every week or month.

This is your beautiful reflection pool of clarity.

Here your thoughts are clear,

The process is clear,

Your wisdom is sure and strong and you can hear your words of intuition.

Sit here now and contemplate.

Create and when you are ready,

When you have finished,

Make your way back and bring your awareness to the body that was sitting in the room,

Allowing yourself to observe your body.

Perhaps it's changed and moved through the meditation,

Perhaps it feels lighter and more expanded after releasing all that you don't need.

Observe your body,

Observe the feel of your body.

Be in awe of your body and once again feel your body in the room,

Feel the air around you as it makes contact with your skin.

Feel your presence filling the room and then when you're ready gently opening your eyes and coming fully back into your body with crystal clear clarity,

Ready for a new day.
