Mediumship Mythbusting

On the last episode of Season 1 of Lave Om, we talk about the afterlife and what the souls that have passed forward want us to know as well as debunk some myths of mediumship. We are not shown how to trust the wholeness in which we come into the world. The mind, body, and spirit work together to navigate life on this plane. Spirit interns of our source within, often it is confused with religious beliefs. Spirit is the vein of connection to source and inner guidance and trust.

Welcome to La Ve Homme episode 13 mediumship myth-busting.

So as a professional medium and a teacher of spirituality I love love love this topic.

I think it's probably one of the most curious of areas that I work in because the afterlife is something that we all will experience but yet we know so little about and I know I was filled with fear.

I was raised very strict Irish Catholic so I was not taught that it was okay to speak to souls that have crossed over.

I actually feared it so it's become a passion of mine to share the inside of my workspace which is the afterlife and I did a lot of training and a lot of trust development because this is innate in all of us.

We all have this gift of connection.

Our intuition is the GPS and it is also a microphone and we are not disconnected from source but we have been living in such a sleep-like state that through generations we have been shut off or separated from our intuitive inherent abilities of connection connection to source and having two partners having our angels to surround us and support us having our loved ones who have crossed and tapping into that rich wisdom of both realms.

We are spirit beings doing a human experience and the way that I explain it and this may help you to find a little bit more peace in the connection is that I act as though I'm a soldier on the ground and the angels and my guides on the other side are in an airplane and they have an aerial view of what's happening down here so as I tune in and I listen and I trust I'm following the guidance that they have from a much broader perspective rather than just seeing what's in front of me and seeing only a short distance.

So one of the myths is that when you talk to people who have crossed over that it is bad or evil there is no judgment in the afterlife this is a human condition and souls coming into this world are pure and what happens is that it's the experiences that each soul lives in the humanness that then starts to work with the ego and develop personality and develop a view of the world and often it's not that people are good or bad it's the actions that they choose to do that show either a positive or negative but not the souls of people who maybe make choices that are not good does not make them bad or evil and so what we have to understand is that just like going into a neighborhood that you're unfamiliar with you always want to shield and protect yourself and if you have been one of my students over the years or listen to me talk I am a huge huge huge safety girl and that means we are going into an invisible realm and in going into an invisible realm it is no different than maybe getting lost in a neighborhood that we wouldn't want to be in the universe is a very vast space so the first thing that we always do is ask Archangel Michael or ask for the light of the protection or use one of the shielding techniques that you may be familiar with and only shield and protect your energy because for me I wanted only to speak with the light and what that means is when you ask Archangel Michael to shield and protect you you are in a direct route to the light he shields you as I tell my students I live like Linda the good witch I live in a bubble so I'm observant not absorbent of any energies that are not in my alignment so it is so important to understand that when you're moving into the desire to have connection this will help you to build trust because it is creating a space for you that you are not inundated with other emotions or feelings or different things that are moving around you so shielding and protecting is number one and understanding that the judgments that we have here are not followed through with us when we cross over when the soul releases from the physical body it is a release of the free will it is release of any sickness any illness anything that is creating discomfort in this human world when we return home it is about reunion with our light reunion with our wisdom and reunion with other souls that are in our soul groups and when I say soul groups it is something that you could imagine as if a class room and here we have many levels of education and not every student is able to obtain the information and retain the information from a class that they have not been prepared for so we would never take a PhD student and expect a kindergartener to be equivalent in knowledge and education well the soul groups are the same experience each of us here walking this earth walk are on a different grade or soul level so age so we are going through different lessons that's why judgment here is just so harsh and so unnecessary because we have our own fingerprints and in having our own fingerprints we have our own lessons that are designed around our soul groups ages so when we are looking at people and thinking well why would they do that well I can't stand that why would they do that oh are they so silly why would they we're asking those why questions as to why people are doing what they're doing it really comes down to they're on their page in their lesson it's time for you to get on your page time for me to get on my page and that is how we have a more oneness in understanding that each of us is here to co-create life with one another and experience life on earth school bit to support one another because you as an old soul have been that young soul at one point you have been that soul who has maybe struggled or had to go through many lessons time and time again until it was and a lesson that we have learned so when we cross back over we're greeted by other loved ones that are crossed but we're also greeted by our soul groups in that reunion home is really very lovely and we always want to understand that even if people make bad choices here that does not create a damnation for them moving forward it is about them understanding that they have things that they need to grow through to become a better student of how earth school works and that's why healing is so important because when we take ownership of our healing we really are fast-forwarding the souls lessons because most of our lessons are built around the obstacles that we experience in life so if you happen to notice that you are on like repeat where the same lesson keeps repeating over and over and over again it's important to pay attention to that because it will keep showing up in our life because there is a lesson that is a very valuable tool that our soul desire to learn prior to coming into this humanness so pay attention to those areas where you're on a repeat these are very rich life lessons when we are in connection with the afterlife it is about understanding that we are not speaking to the person who we had a communication and a connection with in this life we are tuning in as a soul to soul communication because my soul and the souls of loved ones crossed your souls and the souls of the invisible realms in the afterlife are all fluent in the frequency and the vibration of connection and what happens is that we often get discouraged or feel this separation it's the sleep-like state that has created us to feel separate we've created a separation from ourself and entrusting ourselves we've created a separation in feeling as to where they have gone like we have lost them it is an emotional process to understand you know it is something that we cannot spiritually bypass by not grieving we must allow ourselves to go through the feelings to heal from it because that also is a huge key component in how we receive messages so when our loved ones are on the other side they are free of the wounds that they carried here often I'll sit with a guest and you know it's it's an amazing experience it's so sacred and this is one of the myths that it's a party game or that it's something that you do in public or that you stop people with this is a sacred connection and it is to be treated as a sacred connection because the more that you connect with its sacredness that it is source that is speaking through you and with you the higher vibrational messaging and connection that you receive it is important that you are always open but shielded and understanding that your intuition is guiding you and that our loved ones who have crossed over never are leaving us but going through the process of not having them in the physical world is so important because this makes all the difference in how we receive and how we connect we must cut the cords to expectation and acceptance acceptance means that we don't have to like it but it is what it is and the person is crossed we must cut the attachment to expectations that because we knew them as this person on this plane that they are that same person when they cross they are free of the humanness they are now infinite wisdom they are wise and they are 100% source so if there was ever a situation where someone who has crossed has hurt you the apologies that come through on the other side are the purest apologies that you will ever receive because they now have had a life review and this life review is not about judgment of them this life review is about the soul watching a movie of the journey through Earth school watching from birth and all of the successes that it's experienced and seeing where these wounds have formulated because people who have wounds create wounds in others and people who heal their wounds create a greater love for all of us so when they are going through this experience they are watching and they are learning through your eyes without emotion they are learning with the eyes of love because love is the one flow and emotion between realms so when they're observing this beautiful review it is so pure so when they come through and you may hear I am sorry I'm sorry you may be thinking about someone maybe who has caused pain in your life or trauma you're not thinking about them because they're haunting you you're thinking about them because their presence is around you because they now 100% understand that they have created lashes in your life wounds on your heart whips around your humaneness and they desire to acknowledge that and say I am so sorry because those who have created the biggest wounds on us tend to want to help to hold the stitches to help put them together so it's important that we always are in the state of openness but never ever ever take this lightly again we are working with light and with any light there is a polarity of darkness and darkness is very much around in our world and it is not to ever create fear in anyone because love and light are the strongest of all the emotions and energies but to not acknowledge that darkness exists is ignorant because you are then creating an openness or a vulnerability to be tricked or to be moved in a direction that is not in your highest good so when we shield and protect our energy it is to understand that we are doing this to connect into the light if other people you know want to use you know different oracles or different things you know and you don't feel good about what they're doing then you need to trust that intuition you need to trust that something doesn't feel right and always ask Archangel Michael please clear and shield and cleanse my energy of any alignments that are not aligned with my highest good because the beauty of the afterlife and the beauty of the wisdom that we can have here on this earth walk is a lesson of wisdom intelligence and love and that's what this world needs it needs wisdom it needs you were love your light and your inspiration to be brought forth when we are learning to trust the signs because that truly is the biggest muscle that needs trust and belief when we learn to trust we are then giving ourselves permission to develop our intuition deeper and then ask for confirmation do not demand signs spirit does not work for us they are learning to build a new relationship with us now with their all-knowingness so when we ask for signs be open to everything that you were experienced numbers and feelings and emotions and thoughts things that you catch from the peripheral of your eye like flashes of light all of these things are flares that are being sent down to you to get your attention and once they get that signal they're going to continue to support it they're going to continue to grow because they want you to know what they know and they never worry about us being okay because they know that we have the tools and we have the wisdom we just need to tap in and live
