A ritual on rising.

Begin standing with your feet centered and even.

Feel the support and the strength of the legs.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

And close your eyes.

Hold your torso firm.

Take your arms out to the side of your body.

Bent at the elbows.

And with a double breath in,

Draw the elbows together in front of you.

Breathing in.

And breathe out to release them back to the side.

Release your arms down.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Working our way through the body now,

Filling the body with breath and releasing it as we go.

Breathing to the feet.

Feel the feet with breath.

Tense the feet and breathe out to release.

Breathe in.

Feel the calves with breath.

Tense the calves.

Breathe out and release.

Breathe in to the thighs.

Tense the thighs.

Tense the buttocks.

Breathe out.

Breathe in to the torso.

Run the breath through the stomach,

Through the chest and the spine.

Tense.

Breathe out to release.

Breathe in.

Take the breath down the arms to the fingers.

Tense.

Breathe in.

Tense.

Breathe out to release and relax.

Breathe in.

Tense into the throat,

Into the mind.

Squeeze the jaw.

Breathe out to release.

Breathe in.

Run the breath from the feet all the way through the body.

Tense the body and breathe out and release the tension and relax the body.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Feel the flow of the breath through the body.

Breathe in,

Raise the hands above the head.

Breathe out.

Breathe out,

Release the body,

Folding forward gently.

No pressure.

Hold the forward fold,

Breathing in.

Breathing out,

Release down.

Breathe in,

Slowly allow the body to unfold.

Curl through the spine as you come to the top.

Roll your shoulders back,

Bring your arms above the head.

Center the hands in prayer and bring them to rest on chest.

Breathe out.

I release all blocks and energies that create limits to my day.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Release the hands.

Bend the knees and go to ground and sit in meditation.

Breathing it in.

Breathing it out.

Breathing it in.

Dear life,

I wake with you again this day to breathe with you,

To be one with you.

I give gratitude to serve you again.

Breathe in.

Breathe in and breathe out.

I am compassion,

Kindness,

Patience,

Tolerance and forgiveness.

I am eternal.

I am all that is.

I allow life as it is.

I breathe as one with life and all sentient beings born to the universe.

I breathe as cosmic consciousness.

I'm the insidilla of grace.

I'm the awakened souls and the purveyor of love.

I am here to awaken with thee.

Breathe in.

Spend time in breath now.

Spend time with anything specific that your day brings in thought and feeling.

Allow the calmness to settle you for the day to begin.

Give prayer to those for this day,
