You are allowed to not want something. Even if you wanted it yesterday. Even if someone else is hoping you still do. This meditation is a sacred permission slip to reclaim your “No”—not as rejection, but as a rhythm. As art. As a doorway back into truth. With poetic guidance and gentle breathwork, you'll be invited to reconnect with the place in your body that whispers (or roars): not this, not now, not like that. Whether your no arrives as tension, stillness, nausea, or clarity, this is a practice to feel it fully, without apology. Rooted in nature, sensuality, and somatic reverence, this is for anyone who’s ever struggled to honor their boundaries in the heat of expectation or desire. Let this be the place where your no is not a failure, but a frequency. A color. A sacred return. Come home to your No—and watch how your true Yes begins to grow.

You are allowed to not want something,

Even if you wanted it yesterday,

Even if someone else is hoping you still do.

You are allowed to change your mind,

Midway through,

At the very edge,

Even in the heat of breath and pulse and promise.

Your body is allowed to say no,

Without explanation and without apology.

Let this be the place where your no is not a threat,

Not a failure,

Not the end.

Let this be the place where your no is holy.

Close your eyes now,

Or lower your gaze,

And place a hand on the part of you that clenches first when something feels wrong.

The place where your body first says not this,

Not now,

Not like that.

Maybe it's your throat,

Or your belly,

Or your thighs,

Or your arms.

Let the hand rest right there,

Just to listen.

There is a kind of erotic and creative energy that lives in refusal.

It is not the energy of collapse.

It is the energy of containment,

Of integrity,

Of knowing the shape of your own yes,

By knowing the sound of your no.

This is not withdrawal.

This is art.

Let your art form.

Let your shape be shown to the world.

Let your color dance an infinite dance.

Natural world,

Some animals give off warning colors.

The poison dart frog glows neon blue.

The coral snake wears red and yellow rings.

They are simply stating,

I am sacred.

I am not for anyone but myself.

Your no is just like that,

Not rejection,

But recognition,

A frequency your body emits and gifts to the world when something crosses the boundary of your truth and our greater truth.

Now breathe here,

And let your breath be declaration,

Inhale,

I am allowed to know what I want.

Exhale,

I am allowed to not want this right now,

And inhale,

I am allowed to know what I want and need,

And exhale,

I am allowed to not want this right now.

And sometimes a no is not loud,

Sometimes it comes in a whisper,

And the way your skin pulls back,

And the way your breath shortens,

And the way your thoughts and emotional body go quiet.

Sometimes the no is gentle,

And sometimes it roars,

And every form you do not need to justify it or explain it,

You only need to feel it and stay.

Now imagine,

Just for a moment,

Your no as a shape,

Not a weapon,

But a doorway,

A curved shell,

Or a crescent moon,

Or the tide pulling back.

Whatever shape it is,

Green one,

Your no is not an ending,

It is a rhythm,

A movement,

The place where a truer yes is growing roots.

Feel that.

The erotic does not leave when you say no,

It returns to you.

It fills your body once again.

You are not withholding,

You are attuning to yourself and the greater truth of all that is.

You are not shutting down.

You are coming back into yourself.
