Join our monastics for our monthly blessing ceremony. It begins with a guided meditation led by Bhante Bhaddiya. He will guide you through our loving kindness practice. This is followed by chanting that has been perfomed for thousands of years and is in the Pali language. This is a chant to send blessings to you, your loved ones, and the world as a whole.

Good evening everybody.

So how are you today?

Thank you so much for being here.

Today we are going to do blessing,

Chanting.

I think you know already what is the blessing mean,

Chanting mean and in Pali we call Paritta.

Paritta means chanting,

Protection.

Today we are going to chant two discourses,

Meaningful sutras and it is including mindfulness practice also loving kindness thoughts.

That all the thoughts came from Buddha's heart,

What Buddha developed in his life and very lovingly kindly.

If you like to receive that all the blessing,

You have to keep your mind very kindly.

You have to think this is spiritual blessing,

I can receive these things and then you can heal your mind.

And we are going to chant in Pali language.

I know you can,

You cannot understand what exactly we are going to chant today but trust me it doesn't have any bad word.

All the words have very meaningful things.

And I think you will enjoy that chanting.

And we are sharing,

We already share our you know trade.

Now we are all,

We all connected and you monks and we all,

If you like to share this spiritual blessing to your family,

Your parents and who close to you,

Who so far to you,

You can imagine their smile faces and then you can share this blessing.

When we chant,

This chant has a rhythm.

This chant has a rhythm.

When you go to the ocean,

You can listen that ocean sound,

Waves,

Calm,

Coming,

Coming and go like that.

Exactly the sound go with this chanting and when you listen this chant,

Just imagine now I am in the ocean,

Then you can feel this rhythm and all the energies.

Okay,

First we are going to do some meditation,

Loving kindness meditation.

Then we all are going to chant,

You bless you.

Okay,

Please find your comfortable posture,

Sit comfortably,

Keep your back straight as much as you can,

Gently close your eyes.

Gently bring your attention to your body.

Now take a few long breaths and relax your whole body.

Relax your muscles,

Head,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Your left arm,

Right arm,

Also your chest,

Your belly,

Up of the left leg,

Low of the left leg,

Up of the right leg,

Low of the right leg.

Relax your whole body,

Relax your mind,

Relax,

Relax,

Relax.

Now make a little smile in your face and let's practice loving kindness meditation.

Mehta bahavana,

Say to yourself,

Bless to yourself,

Wish to yourself,

I am well,

I am happy,

I am peaceful,

I am well,

I am happy,

I am peaceful.

Add the meaning of each word deeply and clearly,

Then repeat it yourself,

I am well,

I am happy,

I am peaceful.

Namaste.

We can dream,

But we still get to live coastal Mor compiler.

A bit I am happy,

I'm peaceful.

Just repeat these three words again and again.

Will,

Happy and peaceful.

Now imagine your family,

Your friends,

Parents,

Husband or wife,

Children,

Brothers or sisters,

Girlfriend,

Boyfriend or best friend,

Also your neighbors,

Co-workers.

Bless to them.

May they be well.

May they be happy.

May they be peaceful.

May they be well.

May they be happy.

May they be peaceful.

If you have any difficult people in your life,

You can imagine them.

Just think,

May my difficult people be well,

Be happy,

Be peaceful.

May they be well.

May they be happy.

May they be peaceful.

Now send these spiritual,

Powerful thoughts to around the world.

May all human,

Non-human,

All the beings be well,

Happy and peaceful.

There are so many things going on in this world for right now.

We cannot do anything,

Just we have to send this spiritual,

Powerful,

Loving energy to all the beings.

May they be well.

May they be happy.

May they be peaceful.

May they be well.

Now monks are going to chant and bless to all of you and your family.

May all four of them be well,

Happy and peaceful.

Be strong and healthy.

You find your own happiness.

Balance.

Compassion.

You can imagine your loved one.

You can send this spiritual,

Powerful energy to all four of them.

Just lessen this chant.

Concentrate your mind,
