Finding a meditation position.
So any cross legged position or maybe kneeling or sitting in a chair.
A position where the spine can extend upwards towards the sky with as little effort as possible.
Then gently closing the eyes.
Finding the length in the spine but also finding softness in the body.
Relax the shoulders,
Allow the arms to be heavy and relaxing any tension in your face.
As the body begins to settle,
Begin to allow your mind to settle,
Letting any distractions slowly drift away here.
Letting any distractions fade away into the background.
And then bringing your awareness to the breath,
The essential and natural breath.
Allow the breath to be a pathway connecting you to your inner stillness.
And as you connect to your breath,
Just tuning into your inhale and exhale.
Not trying to control or manipulate,
Just allowing it to be.
And then from here we're going to send our awareness to our solar plexus,
Our mannipura chakra.
So this is the space that's located below the diaphragm and just above the navel.
So just begin by breathing into this area intentionally,
Allowing it to expand on the inhale and allowing it to soften on the exhale.
And then begin to visualize the color yellow at the center,
Visualizing your inner sun.
As you inhale,
Imagine your sun expanding and growing stronger.
And with every exhale,
Allow the color,
The brightness to become more intense.
And just staying with this visualization of inhaling to expand,
Exhaling to gather strength.
And our mannipura chakra,
Our solar plexus is our energy center associated with our confidence,
Our self-esteem,
Our willpower,
Motivation.
It is where our inner energy reservoir resides.
It is where our inner fire resides.
So connecting to all these vibrant energies associated with this space,
All of these positive aspects.
And as we breathe into this area,
As we visualize the color yellow becoming brighter,
Our inner sun growing stronger,
Sending these ideas and energies to every cell in the body,
Allowing every cell in the body to become more vibrant,
To become more positive.
Glowing with vitality.
And as we breathe in this energy and these feelings,
Feel a sense of becoming more at one with your own power,
At one with your,
Your self identity,
Your purpose.
Feel a sense of filling up your inner well of strength,
Self-belief and of abundance.
This is a joyful feeling.
This is a joyful energy center.
And as it is the energy center associated with our inner fire,
Not only does it bring us motivation,
Heat and zest for life and excitement and joy,
But the fire also burns away any impurities in the form of negative thought forms,
Beliefs,
Any stagnant energy,
Any low energy.
So just feel the sense of any negativity in any form,
Just being burned away,
Being purified and then released.
Still maintaining that vision of your inner sun at the area below your diaphragm.
And just taking the last few breaths here.
Maybe feeling a sense of smiling internally,
Imagining yourself smiling,
Feeling content,
Feeling at one with yourself.
And then gently bring your palms together at the heart center.
Take a nice deep breath in through the nose.
And as you exhale through the nose,
Just dropping your chin to your chest.
And when you're ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
