Hello,

Radiant Souls.

My name is Nola Bloom and welcome to the Blooming Spirit Podcast.

Today,

I invite you on a journey into deep rest and luminous presence with a Yoga Nidra meditation called Full Moon Illumination.

The full moon has long been revered as a symbol of clarity,

Illumination,

And the rhythm of life itself.

It mirrors the cycles of our own being,

Waxing and waning,

Revealing and concealing,

Shining light into the spaces that have long to be seen.

Under the glow of the full moon,

We are invited to embrace the fullness of who we are,

To release what no longer serves us,

And to step into a space of deep wisdom and clarity.

As you settle into stillness,

You will journey through the koshas,

The five layers of being,

Beginning with your physical body,

The vessel that holds you,

Then moving through breath and energy,

Into the vast landscapes of mind and emotion.

And deeper still,

You touch the quiet wisdom of your inner knowing,

Arriving at the radiant presence beyond thought.

A boundless expanse of pure awareness,

Where the light of the full moon illuminates your presence.

Now take a moment and find a comfortable lying down position.

Go ahead and place a cushion underneath your head or your knees for comfort.

Close your eyes and start to slow the breathing down.

Big breath in,

And big breath out.

Settle in,

Soften,

And surrender.

Feel the earth beneath you,

Taking the entire weight of the body,

As you drop deeper and deeper into relaxation.

In this quiet space of stillness,

Allow your sankalpa to arise,

A heartfelt intention,

Luminous like the moon's reflection on still water.

Your sankalpa is a guiding light,

A truth already present within you,

Waiting to be acknowledged.

It may emerge as a word,

A phrase,

A sensation,

Or simply a whisper in the silence.

If no words come,

Gently breathe and trust that the right intention is already here,

Woven into the fabric of your being.

And let your sankalpa settle into your heart,

Like moonlight resting upon the ocean's surface,

Effortless,

Present,

And whole.

Now imagine yourself lying beneath a vast,

Midnight sky.

The full moon hangs high,

Luminous and serene,

Bathing the world in its cool,

Silvery glow.

The air is still,

Filled with the quiet hum of possibility.

The earth beneath you is soft and warm from the sun's memory.

As you gaze upon the moon,

A gentle pulse of light forms at the center of your forehead,

Your third eye awakening,

A silver radiance,

Cool and clear,

Begins to bloom in the space.

Let it expand,

Like the moonlight spilling across the water.

This is your inner vision,

The place where clarity rises effortlessly,

Allow it to open,

Let sight unfold.

As you rest in this luminous awareness,

Moonlight begins to flow through your body.

From the crown of your head,

A silver glow cascades down the right side of your face,

Softening your right eye,

Temple,

And cheek.

It glides down the right side of your throat,

Melting over your shoulder,

Flowing like liquid light through the right arm,

Elbow,

Wrist,

And into the palm of your right hand,

Where it pools,

Silken,

Weightless,

Luminous.

It pours effortlessly into each fingertip,

Shimmering like reflections on a quiet lake.

The silver radiance spirals down your ribs,

Filling the right chamber of your heart with a soft glowing warmth.

It moves through your waist,

Your pelvis,

Down your right thigh,

Knee,

Calf,

And ankle,

Pooling in the sole of your right foot,

Flowing into each and every toe,

Like threads of moonlight weaving through the body.

Simultaneously,

A deep indigo glow seeps through the crown of your head,

Cascading down the left side of your face,

Softening your left eye,

Temple,

And cheek.

It glides down the left side of your throat,

Over your shoulder,

Moving through your left arm,

Elbow,

Wrist,

And into the palm of your left hand,

Where it pools like deep twilight sky.

The indigo radiance trickles into each fingertip,

Cool and expansive,

Flowing in quiet waves.

The indigo light spirals through your left ribs,

Settling in the left chamber of your heart,

Like the hush of midnight stillness.

It moves down to your waist,

Your pelvis,

Your left thigh,

Calf,

And ankle,

Pooling in the sole of your left foot,

Merging into each toe like ripples in water.

Now bring awareness to the whole right side of the body,

Bathed in silver light,

And bring awareness to the whole left side of the body,

Immersed in indigo night.

Sense the contrast,

Feel the harmony,

Silver moonlight,

Indigo night,

Light and shadow,

Weaving together.

As these energies meet at your heart,

They spiral and merge,

Forming a luminous sphere at the center of your being,

Warm and cool,

Light and dark,

A perfect balance of energies dissolving into a single presence,

Radiant and whole.

Now rest here,

Body open,

Breath effortless,

Mind like the moonlit sky.

Now feel the breath as a tide,

Rising,

Falling,

Effortless,

Like the ocean responding to the moon's pull.

Your breath flows in harmony with something greater.

Each inhale,

Silver light fills your being.

Each exhale,

A gentle release,

Dissolving into the infinite night.

The breath moves like moonlit waves,

Steady and unforced,

A quiet rhythm,

A natural flow.

You are being breathed by the universe itself.

The moonlight around you shimmers,

Whispering through your being.

It reveals what is ready to be seen.

It brings clarity to what was once hidden.

Here,

In this gentle radiance,

All emotions are welcome.

All thoughts drift like clouds across the midnight sky.

You are not your thoughts.

You are not your emotions.

You are the space in which they arise and dissolve.

Pure presence,

Stillness,

Awareness.

Let the light of the full moon illuminate your being,

Bringing a deep sense of quiet and clarity.

Beyond thought,

Beyond feeling,

There is a knowing,

A quiet,

Steady truth.

The moon does not question its fullness.

It simply shines.

You too are luminous,

Whole and complete.

Trust this knowing.

Let it settle deep,

Like moonlight on water.

You are already all that you seek.

Now dissolve completely.

No boundaries.

No edges.

Only breath.

Only space.

Only endless light.

You are the full moon.

You are the luminous night.

You are the quiet vastness of being itself.

Rest here.

Effortless presence.

Infinite peace.

A deep and quiet return to self.

Slowly,

The moonlight softens.

The night sky begins to fade into dawn.

The air is fresh and alive with possibility.

You remember your sankalpa now.

The intention held within you like a quiet ember.

If words do not arise,

Simply whisper inwardly,

I am illuminated by wisdom and clarity.

Feel it alive within you.

A guiding light always present.

Take a big breath in.

Sensing the weight of your body once more.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Feel the earth beneath you.

The breath within you.

The quiet presence around you.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

The full moon remains within you always.

Namaste.
