Today's guided meditation will be an affirmation practice.
Affirmations have played a tremendous role in my own self-love journey.
Once we understand that the only perception that truly matters is the one that we think about ourselves,
We're able to continue to propel on this self-love journey.
So I invite you to get into a comfortable seated position,
Whatever that may look like for you.
And let's just take an opportunity to ground ourselves,
Taking a great big inhale here,
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
Inhale through the nose.
Exhale,
Sigh it out.
Taking one more great big inhale here.
And exhale,
Sigh it out.
Giving yourself permission to use the next couple of moments to just show up for yourself.
Allowing ourselves to be free from any distractions or concerns just for a moment.
Giving ourselves permission to show up unapologetically just for ourselves.
If you haven't already,
Feel free to close your eyes or pick a spot on the wall and stare at it.
Taking a moment to notice any sensations you might be feeling in the body.
Taking an opportunity to notice how you're feeling genuinely.
And maybe you just allow the breath to deepen a little bit.
Taking a great big inhale here.
And exhale it out.
Allowing the breath to come in and out naturally,
Noticing the natural rise and fall of the chest and belly.
Now take an opportunity to imagine that you are protected.
Feeling this positive energy through your entire body.
Taking an opportunity to release any negative self talk or thoughts that you may have about yourself.
Take a moment to acknowledge yourself just as you are.
Knowing that the person that you are in this moment is exactly who you're meant to be.
Giving yourself a friendly reminder that no matter where you are in your journey,
You are worthy,
You are deserving,
And you are loved.
Now I'll count us down from five to one.
And as I count us down,
I invite you to deepen your breath,
Allowing your entire body to relax and blocking out any outside noise or distractions.
Five,
Breathing deeply,
Inviting ease.
Four,
Breathing out,
Trusting your gut,
Trusting your vision.
Three,
Taking another great big deep breath,
Understanding your worth and acknowledging how valuable you are.
Two,
Reminding yourself that you are worthy and capable of your wildest dreams.
One,
Taking a great big inhale here and exhale releasing any negative self talk.
Taking another inhale here and exhale it out.
We'll close out this meditation with taking an opportunity to repeat some affirmations.
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am exactly where I'm supposed to be.
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am exactly where I'm supposed to be.
Taking one more great big inhale to seal those affirmations in.
And exhale releasing any negative self talk.
Inhale to seal the affirmations in.
Exhale releasing any limiting beliefs.
Taking a moment to bring your awareness back to this present moment.
Taking one more collective inhale and exhale it out.
And so it is.
