Today's guided meditation will serve as an opportunity to check in and to ask ourselves what it is that we may need in this moment.
So I invite you to take an opportunity to get into a comfy position and once you arrive there,
Go ahead and get settled.
Taking a moment just to notice our breath.
Noticing the natural rise and fall of the chest.
Taking thanks to our breath,
Which is our life force.
Inhaling through the nose and exhale it out.
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhale it out.
With each inhale,
We'll imagine becoming more relaxed and having more ease.
And with each exhale,
Letting go and releasing.
Taking an inhale,
Inviting ease and exhale to let go.
Take a moment to imagine and visualize a bright white light shining at the base of your spine.
This white light represents energy.
With each inhale,
We'll imagine the light traveling up to the top of our head and with each exhale,
The light will travel back down to the feet.
As we imagine this bright light traveling,
It will represent energy,
Peace or whatever feeling you may need in this moment.
Taking an inhale,
This bright white light travels up to the top of our head and on the exhale it sends down to our feet.
Inhale as the light travels back up to the top of the head and exhale letting the white light go back down to the feet.
Taking one more inhale,
That white light travels up to the head and exhale,
White light travels back down to the feet.
Taking this bright white light at the base of the spine again,
With each inhale,
The light will gradually grow larger,
Promoting more ease and peace.
Taking one more inhale and exhale it out.
Slowly begin bringing your awareness back to this present moment.
Taking a moment to check in with yourself.
What do you need?
What is something you can do to feel more supported throughout the day?
Allowing yourself to answer those questions.
Allowing whatever thoughts that come up to just be.
Then slowly just wiggling the fingers and toes to bring some movement back into the body.
Taking one more inhale together and exhale release it out.
Take a moment to check in with yourself.
