Day 10: Commit To One Small Daily Action
Welcome to Day 10 of this 10-day series on living your life more fully with less stress and greater ease. Each day will offer very short videos that suggest practices to bring into your day. Make a commitment to do one small thing every day related to any or all of the above. As Barbara Fredrickson writes in her book 'Positivity', creating positive moments can create momentum that becomes exponential in nature, helping to shift one’s life from just getting by to flourishing. This video is purely for educational purposes and is not intended as psychological treatment or intervention of any kind.

Hi,
Welcome to day 10.
Thank you for making it this far along.
And so this last day is really about making a commitment to bring one small positive action of any of the things that we've talked about so far into the course of your day.
And so one day you might do something really nourishing for your body,
Making yourself a healthy smoothie or going for a walk.
Another day you might commit to really feeling a contribution to something outside of yourself.
Maybe you go out of your way to say thank you to somebody that you ordinarily might not express that to.
On another day you might notice where your mind is resting and catching yourself if you're starting to spiral into the past or into the future.
Or you might on another day pause and make a point of savoring a little small precious moment for 30 seconds or 60 seconds as you move through your day.
And each of these little moments may seem like not a whole lot but it's the momentum of that that can really build and that this kind of positivity can grow and this momentum can become part of the fabric of our lives in a way that really contributes deeply to our well-being.
So I wish you much well-being and I thank you for joining me for these 10 days and I invite you to continue to be part of my community and I look forward to sharing more resources and tools with you.
Take good care.
Bye-bye.
