Raky Infused Meditation for Anxiety by Beth Slater Welcome to this Raky Infused Meditation,

Written and recorded with love,

To help you to reduce anxiety through the act of relaxation with the added healing energy of Raky.

Begin by making yourself comfortable.

You can do this by laying down or sitting up comfortably.

Remove any distractions or discomforts.

Make sure you feel warm enough.

You may require a blanket to cover yourself or wrap up in.

Do what you need to do to feel comfortable.

You may wish to close your eyes or to focus on one spot and allow your eyes to relax.

Let your eyelids do what feels comfortable.

Take a deep breath in,

Filling your lungs completely.

And breathe out,

Emptying your lungs completely.

This is called a cleansing breath,

Removing any stale air,

Aiding the process of relaxation and general well-being.

Take a couple more deep cleansing breaths.

Maybe take a good sigh on the out-breath if that feels good to you.

If you can,

Breathe in through your nose.

And now blow the air out through your mouth.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Become aware of your breathing and how it feels.

How it makes your body feel.

Become aware of how your body relaxes the more you focus on your breathing.

Breathing in calm and relaxation.

Breathing out any unwanted anxiety or tension.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Calm,

Relaxed.

There is nothing that you need to be doing right now.

You are taking care of your health and your well-being.

Practicing relaxation is productive and will benefit your life and the lives of others around you.

As you continue to breathe,

Filling your body with oxygen and relaxation.

Begin to observe and become aware of your body.

Notice how your body feels.

Are there any sensations?

Can you feel any tension or tightness?

Or the feeling of your clothes or blanket touching your skin?

Is there any tingling or change in temperature?

I want you to imagine that you are surrounded by a beautiful energy.

The energy of healing Reiki.

Reiki is a word that means life force energy.

Imagine that life force energy surrounding your body.

I am infusing this meditation with that very energy.

If you have experienced Reiki before,

Then you may know what to expect.

If not,

That's okay.

Just be willing to accept the healing of the life force energy.

An energy that can do no harm.

An energy that radiates at the frequency of love.

If you know any Reiki symbols,

You may want to imagine them being drawn around you.

If you don't know any of the symbols,

Then that's okay,

Because I'm drawing them for you.

Symbols are just tools to express the intent of sending and receiving energetic healing.

They can only do good.

I'm drawing the symbols and expressing the intent of sending you Reiki healing energy.

To help you out on your journey of relaxation.

A journey to bring relief of any unwanted or difficult feelings.

Difficult feelings are normal and part of being human.

We all experience them.

And although they are normal,

It is good to learn how to sit with them peacefully in observation.

Next time you become anxious,

You may want to express to yourself quietly in your mind.

And that's okay,

Because I am human.

And I can sit with this peacefully and observe it.

Take a deep breath through your nose if you can.

And breathe out fully.

A cleansing breath.

Whilst you are receiving the reiki energy that has been infused into this meditation,

I invite you to scan your body,

Beginning at the top of your head,

Moving downward.

Bring your attention to your head,

Your scalp,

Your forehead,

Your eyes.

Bring your attention to your head,

Your scalp,

Your eyes.

Do you feel any tension?

If so,

Make the intent to let that go.

If so,

Make the intent to let that go.

Allow your head to relax.

Allow your head to relax.

Your nose,

Your ears,

Your jaw,

Your lips,

Your tongue.

Relax.

Continue scanning your body.

How does your neck feel?

Is there any tension at the back of your neck or around your throat?

The sides of your neck?

The lymph glands?

The lymph glands?

Let it go.

You can release tension by squeezing,

Then releasing,

With your muscles.

Or you can simply talk to your body and say,

Hey,

Let go.

Take a deep breath.

Letting go on the out-breath.

How does your upper body feel?

Your shoulders?

Is there any tension that you need to observe and then let go of?

Your chest,

Your rib cage,

Your upper back?

Let that tension go.

Your upper arms,

Your forearms,

Your hands,

Your fingers.

You may want to clench your fists and then let them go with an out-breath.

Feel the relaxation and the release of tension as you let go.

Moving down to your abdomen,

Your stomach,

Your lower back.

Breathe in.

Let the tension go on the out-breath.

Your hips,

Your pelvis,

Your groin area,

Your buttocks.

Again,

You may want to tighten and squeeze and then let go.

Feel the release as you let go.

Your attention traveling down now to your legs,

Your thighs,

Front and back.

Do you feel any tension that could use some release?

If so,

You know what to do now.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Letting go.

As you breathe,

You may want to use the words let on the in-breath and go on the out-breath.

Breathe in.

Let.

Breathe out.

Go.

Become aware of your lower legs,

Calves and shins letting go of any tension.

Now your ankles,

Your feet,

Tops of feet,

Soles and toes.

Maybe try to curl your toes and squeeze as you breathe in.

And then breathe out,

Letting that go.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Maybe with a sigh.

Notice the core of your body is feeling more and more relaxed now.

Your taking care of yourself this way is serving you and those around you.

It is helping you to go about your days and nights with a sense of ease and flow.

You can return to this type of meditation time and time again.

When you notice difficult feelings beginning to take over,

Find some time to focus on your breath,

Even if it's just for less than a minute.

Remember,

These feelings are normal and human.

You are not alone in feeling like this.

You can cope.

Just observe these feelings,

Observe the breath and observe the tension.

You may even want to say to yourself,

Thank you for reminding me that I am human.

I am here to experience these human feelings.

Breathe in with the word let.

Breathe out with the word go.

Let go.

Let go.

Remember that whilst taking part in this meditation,

You are receiving reiki energy.

How does this feel or look to you?

You might want to imagine yourself bathing in a healing golden light or any color of your choice.

Everyone's healing looks and feels slightly different.

I'm going to continue sending reiki to you.

Make the intention now to continue receiving the reiki energy if you wish to.

You may also want to make an intention to how you will feel when the meditation is over.

Would you like to drift off to sleep?

Or do you wish to feel alert and awake,

Full of energy?

The choice is yours.

Just make the intention by saying,

I intend,

Followed by what you wish to feel or what state of alertness you would like to be in.

At the start I was anxious and upset over something which I could feel I was holding in my solar plexus area. Then I discovered your meditation. It is one of the most beautiful and powerful reiki meditations I’ve done. I could feel the beautiful, nurturing reiki energy. In the past, I used to get out of breath when trying to fully empty my lungs on the out breath. With this meditation I did it with ease but most interesting was that it felt like it kept going in a long stream and continuing to empty. Thank you soo much for your meditation. I will bookmark it. 🙏🙌💚
