Transcript

Begin in a comfortable seated position.

Feel yourself rooted and grounded to the earth beneath you.

Find comfort through your seat.

Once you are settled,

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Inhale for a count of 4 and exhale for a count of 6.

Connect your inhale and exhale.

Breathe in starting at your toes and reach your breath all the way out to the top of your head.

Follow the path of your breath all throughout your body.

As you exhale,

Imagine that you are breathing out any stress,

Anxiety,

Or stress.

Watch them move away from you as you exhale.

As you inhale,

Breathe in calm.

Feel it cover you and move down your body.

Feel yourself relaxing deeper and deeper with each exhale.

If your mind drifts into thoughts,

Just notice and come back to your breath.

Come back to your inhale.

Release on your exhale.

Notice any tension that's releasing as you sit and breathe.

As you exhale,

Breathe in and out through your nose and out through your mouth.

I want you to take 3 more deep breaths in and out.

As you breathe in,

Send your breath to any places where you have remaining tension.

As you breathe out,

Let go.

Imagine yourself taking this feeling of relaxation with you throughout your day.

Imagine all the things that you have left to do today and imagine wrapping them in this blanket of relaxation around every moment and each person that you will encounter.

And when you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes and move out into your day knowing that you can always come back to this feeling in your breath.

Have a beautiful day.
