A simple meditation for anyone that could use a moment to be felt and be with themselves. This is my effort to, "hold space" for the listener, allowing you to be with your emotions, connect with your heart and return to a more easeful way of feeling. Feel free to come back to listen again anytime. You got this.

Hey,

I'm here with you.

Maybe not in real time,

But at least while I record this,

And certainly from wherever I am in the future.

I wish you peace.

I wish you kindness,

From my heart and yours,

And to all others around.

And I know we all benefit from being able to sit with how we feel,

But it can't be easy to do it alone.

Even when it doesn't feel like it,

The universe is looking out for us.

And you're here.

So why don't we take a deep breath together.

In through the nose,

And sigh out the mouth.

Feel free to close your eyes and keep breathing as I continue.

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Just know that whatever you're going through is valid,

Surmountable,

And temporary.

There is no rush to get through it,

Or feel any different than you do right now.

If you're able,

See if you can let go of any thoughts,

Or needs to solve external issues,

And just let it be.

Whether things have been sad,

Painful,

Or unfair,

There's a version of you on the other side of this that exists right now,

Smiling,

And proud of you for getting through it.

This future you,

And every version of yourself you've ever been,

Are all cheering you on.

Though it can be hard to imagine,

As we pass through struggles,

We take with us the wisdom of the journey that we wouldn't get otherwise.

We even have the ability to come out stronger on the other side.

It takes strength to go through our dark times,

Our uncertain times,

And our struggles.

Even now,

You're practicing resilience and building a stronger foundation for your future.

Know that there is always an up after a down,

And a bright mountaintop after a shadowed valley.

We just have to keep going.

Wherever you are in the journey,

Know that it's OK to cry,

To sigh,

To shout,

Or lament.

And it's even OK to laugh as you remember your humanness.

Just remember that you are capable of handling everything the universe presents you with,

Capable of walking through the dark,

And capable of celebrating again.

Your own self knows how to deal,

How to heal,

And how to progress.

If you're cool with it,

Let's give ourselves a little love.

Pretend like you're giving your own heart a little hug.

It's even OK to feel awkwardly proud about your ability to do this.

You see,

As the mind learns from experience,

So does the heart.

And learning the language of both is what allows us to develop on all levels throughout our lives.

Remember,

You can always have a conversation with your heart,

Especially in times when your mind is running too fast.

Know that right now,

The real work is going on inside of you.

As you've allowed yourself to sit with your feelings for a few moments,

Maybe your body has had the chance to do some processing,

Even when we just sit with it for a moment.

We're making progress and taking steps ahead.

I wish you the utmost happiness and joy at the person you are becoming.

Growth doesn't always look like outward achievement.

Sometimes growth is simply the ability to find calm within.

I thank you for taking the time to stop by and invest in yourself.

Whatever you may be going through,

I feel with you,

And I'm cheering for you.

We got this.

Hmm.

Hmm.
