This meditation was written as a reminder of the mental and physical abilities we all have to return to a personal state of grace. A supported route through relaxation and visualizing the regathering of our energies towards wholeness, centeredness, and rejuvenated alignment.

This meditation was written as a reminder of the mental and physical abilities we all have to return to a personal state of grace.
Sometimes we find ourselves out of balance or overwhelmed by the way our external reality mirrors our internal states.
This can be empowering or a lot to handle,
Especially when the tide shifts directions.
It can be scary as anxiety or doubt compiles upon itself,
But we can take back control and set our minds and bodies up for ease.
Breathe deep into the knowing that we can always return to center.
You've already taken the first step towards rebalancing your inner state of being by opening up this meditation and pressing play.
Now let's journey together towards a place of enlightenment,
Alignment,
Relaxation,
And ease.
If you haven't already,
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down for the next 15 minutes or so.
If you're feeling energetic,
You might want to try a seated meditation.
If you're tired,
You might be best served by laying down with a comfortable pillow under your head and a blanket to cover up with.
Let's begin by exhaling all the air from your lungs and preparing for a deep,
Full inhale.
Close your eyes and allow your lungs to fill up naturally.
And let it go through your mouth.
And now a nasal inhale.
Hold it in and take an extra sip of air as you hold at the top for three,
Two,
One.
Now slowly exhale for five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One as you reach full release.
Take a few more deep breaths on your own as you prepare to relax deeper into the moment.
Begin to imagine the feelings you'd like to take with you when you open your eyes at the end of this meditation.
Perhaps you want to feel relaxed,
Refreshed,
In a state of loving awareness or empowered to take action.
I am here to guide you towards these positive feelings,
But the result will always be uniquely yours.
And it's important to remember that your own bodily and spiritual intelligence deserves the true credit for the feelings you will achieve.
Feel free to make any last adjustments as we will try to remain still throughout the meditation.
It might be helpful to gently tilt your head left and right or shake your limbs out to get any last impulses to move out as you allow yourself to rest at equilibrium.
Relax your muscles and find symmetry whether you are seated or lying down.
Now we're in place.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
No movement is necessary and no action performed could be more beneficial than how you will spend the next 15 minutes or so for yourself.
Thank you for giving yourself this gift,
Which is in fact a gift to the larger world around you.
Feel free to listen to the sound of my voice or pay closer attention to the words if that suits you.
There is no need to memorize or follow along exactly.
Simply take what you need in the moments that follow and come back anytime you'd like to listen again.
Life is full of ups and downs and sometimes we get bumped off track.
We can get caught up in a web of our own perceptions,
Be they stress,
Pain,
Anxiety or depression.
Like a wave on the ocean,
We can be sure that positive balance will always be restored.
As a wave recedes from the seashore,
Certainly it will return again like the cycle of our breath.
Moments of dis-ease and longing for comfort are like this too.
They are temporary places we must inhabit in order to return to our natural state of being.
Life can be full of back and forth,
Ebbs and flows,
And we have the capacity to float peacefully among the waves.
By giving yourself the time to be here and allowing your mind and body to rest,
You have already reached the pendulum's edge back into a state of alignment.
Remember that you are not alone in your journey.
The universe is made up of energetic currents that are here to support you.
Sometimes it's about surrendering into these fields of energy,
Knowing that they have your back.
We don't have to intellectually understand exactly how it works to feel the benefits.
Our bodies already know the language to repair themselves when we give them a chance to rest.
Perhaps you can already feel it.
The chorus of infinitesimal mechanisms of rejuvenation at work.
Maybe it's a slight tingling,
A buzz of energy,
Or maybe you're still feeling slightly off-balance.
However the experience is manifesting for you is exactly how it needs to be.
Simply trust in the process.
Feel free to let your thoughts go where they may.
Part of the beauty of setting time aside for yourself is to allow unthought thoughts to have space.
There's no need to process or make any decisions.
If you have a beautiful thought or two,
That's nice as well.
You'll remember it afterwards if it's truly important,
So think of nothing more than what arises.
You can always return to a nourishing deep breath.
Every breath you take allows a new universe to arrive,
Bringing essential oxygen to the veins that circulate nutrients throughout your system.
Let's let our old air out and prepare for a deep nasal inhale.
And breathe in as you imagine your body making space for the new universe to construct around you through this meditation.
Your body is a collective organism and you have more than one mode.
We can be hyper-aware of the active mode,
But we forget to remember what makes us whole.
We forget the stillness that also feeds our idea of self.
We forget the energetic recovery we can find when we need no alibi,
When we relax the narrative spinning machines of our incredibly intelligent minds.
There is intricate knowledge within you which can carry out its role best when you simply let go and pass over control.
Yes,
Your body can provide its own tune-up and detailing,
Free of charge.
It's like dropping your car off with a professional mechanic,
Hand over the keys,
Give it a rest,
Show back up to a more aligned vehicle and version of yourself.
So let's dive into the stillness and allow the experience to be driven from within.
Thank you mind for being such a beautiful machine.
Now it's your turn for a rest.
So find a comfortable pose,
Centrally aligned,
And let's let our hearts begin a coherence reset.
Take a deep breath in with some intentions around relaxing.
Start to think about the types of things you'd like to visualize throughout this meditation.
Perhaps it's a bird's eye view of your favorite natural landscapes,
A walk through the forest or gazing at the sunset over a lake.
Perhaps it's more abstract,
Your favorite art or colors and geometric shapes.
Pretend that while you're getting a tune-up,
Your mind is free to create its own show in the waiting room.
Let it be easeful.
Let the mind wander to soft places and beautiful things.
If you start to get too excited,
Remember to take a deep breath in or even smile,
Knowing that no action is needed for now.
Let's breathe into that for three,
Two,
One,
And exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Now it's time to call in the scattered energies of your own design.
Perhaps you've opened up a lot of new routes of creativity or relationship.
Perhaps you've been pulled in many directions at work or taking care of your home or family life.
Let's be content with stillness in this moment and ask for those energies to return to our power centers.
When we call our energies back in and take time to recharge,
We are able to show up more fully for what's ours to do in this life.
For now,
Let's relax into our visualizations and let the returning energies fuel the scenes.
Imagine all of the outputs and ongoing tasks,
Messages and to-do lists expanded out to all points around you.
Now let's bless those energies and call them back to us.
Let's thank those energies for opening up all of the new possibilities they have and for the strength they have built within us to take on new responsibilities with a sense of embodied confidence.
Now it is time to let them all go for a moment of regathering light.
Visualize the energies swirling around in different patterns and colors,
All beginning to orient themselves back towards your center.
Call for them to clarify their energies,
Bringing back only harmonized light.
Invite them in gently at first as they align in a prismatic spherical rainbow in all directions around you.
Let them strengthen and pulse as they begin their return journey to the home of creation inside you.
Allow a sense of wonder to come over you,
Realizing that all of these energies were birthed by you and they are at home when they return to your temple.
Take a deep breath in to receive the first bright sprites to make the journey back home.
As you exhale,
Visualize letting go of the destinations they've journeyed to as you let this breath go slowly and completely.
Breathe in the new learnings and experiences gained from their journeys.
Feel these energies begin to fill your body up with light and a pleasant hum or buzz within.
Allow the energies to gather wherever they feel needed.
It can be helpful to invite them in through the crown of your head or the ends of your fingertips and toes.
Perhaps you feel a swell of good energy in your heart or other chakra centers.
Imagine the energy streaming through in any and all colors and combinations that feel intuitive for you.
Open up to the idea that these energies are filling up all the energetic pathways throughout your body,
Gathering in places which need a recharge and opening up any blocks or resistance.
All gathering deeper inside,
Up and down the spine,
Along your central meridian.
Let's breathe deeply into this magnificent feeling of reunion.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Once your energetic body is balanced,
It can act as a blueprint to heal and restore your physical body too.
Envision a tortoise field around your body like a big inflated inner tube filled with swirling vitalizing energies all whirling back in.
You might feel more energy on one side or the other,
And that's okay.
Trust that the energetic body is calling in exactly the right amount to find a balance.
And imagine at your center a prismatic diamond column of white pulsating light,
Shining bright like your own internal star engine.
The rainbow of colorful whirling energies gather within this star column,
Joyful to return and create an integrated structure among your vessel,
Their home.
Feel into the automatic knowing of the energy to fill you up from place to place,
Just where your body needs it,
Just in time.
And now let's have a sigh of ease,
Celebrating and knowing that we are filled back up.
In through the nose and sigh out the mouth.
In through the nose and sigh out the mouth.
In through the nose and sigh out the mouth.
