Welcome to your five-minute weekly meditation.
My name is Christy and I'll be guiding you through a few quiet minutes to breathe,
To reflect and to notice what stayed with you,
The small things that still feel real.
So let's find a position now that feels steady.
Let your body settle,
Seated,
Lying down or however you feel most comfortable.
Let your shoulders drop,
Let your hands rest and your eyes gently soften or close.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and then let it out slowly through your mouth.
One more time,
Breathe in and out,
Let your breath return to its own rhythm now.
No need to change anything.
Just feel it move.
Over the past little while,
Maybe something has landed with you,
The breath you keep coming back to,
A moment of stillness that stayed with you or a change that you didn't force.
You don't have to turn every moment into a lesson.
Sometimes it's just enough to notice what helped and let that be part of you without overthinking it.
You don't have to hold on to everything,
But simply notice what stayed.
Maybe it's how you pause,
How you breathe when things get noisy,
How you soften your shoulders a little more than you did before.
Even the smallest shifts matter,
The little things you barely notice,
The way you catch a tense breath or soften your jaw.
You get to carry those things with you.
You don't need to explain them.
You don't need to make it a thing.
Just let them walk beside you.
Let the breath move naturally now.
Let the body rest.
When you're ready,
We'll take one more slow breath in and a steady breath out.
Thank you for joining me in this five-minute meditation and remember life is a balance of holding on and letting go.
Namaste.
