Hello and thank you for joining me to take this time to drop into yourself,

To cultivate loving kindness,

Offer blessings,

And soothe your heart.

For just the next few moments,

There's nothing for you to do right now except to listen to my voice.

If your eyes are open and you feel comfortable,

You may close them now or simply soften the focus of your eyes past the tip of your nose,

Allowing the focus to move inward,

Feeling the ground or chair beneath you and knowing the earth is holding you.

And now,

At your own pace,

I invite you to take three conscious deep breaths,

Breathing into the belly and extending your out breath.

Really good.

And if it's available to you right now,

You can place both hands on your heart and breathe into this space,

Knowing at any time you can place your hands back on your lap and just for this moment,

Giving yourself some much needed tenderness and connecting to your heart.

This space within us is divine movement,

The home of our breath,

Where life force energy flows through us,

Beginning to gently guide your breath into this space and allowing the breath to flow deep down through the chest all the way into the belly.

And with each out breath,

Slowing and lengthening the breath as much as is comfortable for you in this moment,

Knowing whatever is present for you right now is perfect,

Exactly as it is.

Practicing giving yourself space for whatever's present and continuing to breathe.

And from this space of the heart,

You can begin to bring to mind someone or some place that you appreciate.

This can be whatever comes to your mind first,

Something or someone that makes you smile and brings you joy.

It can be simple,

Just something or someone that brings you joy,

Bringing this to your mind's eye.

See this experience or person,

Place or object in front of you and become aware of the appreciation that you feel,

Become aware of how the appreciation feels inside your body,

Inside your heart,

Allowing in that appreciation,

That thankfulness.

You can offer love and appreciation directly to that someone or something now.

I appreciate you.

Thank you.

You make a difference in my life.

You bring me joy.

I appreciate you.

Thank you.

Feeling this appreciation that you've cultivated and sitting with that feeling now,

Breathing it in.

And now,

As much as is available to you today,

You can begin to direct that appreciation back into your own heart and spirit.

I will share with you words that you can give to yourself.

And while these words may not all feel true for you right now,

I invite you to receive them from my voice to your heart.

You are exactly where you're meant to be right now.

There is nothing for you to do right now,

But receive love,

Love which you innately deserve.

Breathe.

You are a child of the universe.

You are full of love.

You are full of beauty.

You are divinity.

Breathing.

You are made of the stuff of stars and you have a galaxy inside of you.

You are radiant and so incredibly capable.

Your light contributes to this universe simply by being here and you are so loved.

Taking a moment to speak directly to yourself.

I appreciate you.

Thank you.

You make a difference in my life.

I appreciate you.

Thank you.

Breathing in this love for yourself into your heart.

Whatever is available to you right now is perfect exactly as it is.

Just allowing these words to wash over you and the breath to cleanse the heart.

In and out,

In and out.

And with each breath,

You start to feel that this energy of your heart is expanding.

Breathing in and out from this space,

Allowing the love from your heart space to radiate,

To vibrate into this circle and spiral between each of us over the land that separates us.

We are connected in this heart space now.

Feeling appreciation for each beautiful spirit in this circle and those that we are all connected to outside of this space.

Love is flowing and cycling.

It is always available.

Breathing in and out,

Breathing and feeling the love circulate between us.

And now with the next few breaths,

Feeling this love expand through the body,

Radiating out from your heart,

Moving through the body,

Breathing.

And now very gently,

We will begin to orient our body back into this space,

Keeping the eyes closed or with a soft focus.

Starting to simply notice the shape of your body in the space that you're in.

Noticing the ground beneath you,

Noticing where you feel your body make contact with the surfaces beneath you,

Noticing how the breath expands and contracts and moves the body.

And as we gently prepare to move out of this meditation space,

Know that the inner love that you have cultivated is a fire that can be stoked at any time.

That this inner love from our heart space can act as a flame that keeps us warm as we move throughout the year.

Know that you can always return home to your heart breathing in and out.
